Avoid renting units above and adjacent to #21. Nonstop obnoxious chain smoker tenant and spray painter. Pumping out toxic fumes at all hours of the day, night, and especially wee hours, waking up neighbors with smoke wafting and noise. You will be denied of freshair. Useless to complain bc smoker tenant lacks common courtesy and has volatile personality. Beware of irresponsible and shady manager (Rick) too who defends smokers (because he is one). Another neighbor saw him bumming cigarette from the smoker tenant. Other factors to notice, Garbage shute fills up, roaches, slow/smelly elevator, smelly hallways. Kind of a nightmare sick building. Try to avoid. I noticed good tenants move out quickly. Loud, rude, rift raft tenants stay for long.

I've lived here for years and unfortunately this place has gone downhill. What I used to consider a safe and fairly nice building now seems unsafe and just... worn down. The lock on the front lobby door is old and often broken, meaning the lobby door doesn't always close after people, so anyone can walk in. There are no security cameras in the parking garage or elevators, despite cars being broken into on several occassions. The lights on the side and back of the building don't work so it's hard to see at night. Recently the manager's office was broken into and some keys (among other things) were stolen. Silly us, we assumed that if our apartment was one of the specific ones whose key was stolen the management would let us know and change our locks immediately. Days later they said they'd be changing locks on affected apartments over the next weekend (a week later). We didn't hear anything so naturally assumed that our apartment wasn't affected. Over a week after the office was broken into, and days after they said they were changing locks on affected apartments, we got home from work to find that they were changing locks while people were at work, without informing anyone beforehand. So if you couldn't find the manager you just couldn't get into your apartment. How they handled this whole situation was profoundly stupid and risky on the management's part and exemplifies why I don't want to live here anymore. The only redeeming quality at this point is the rooftop pool.

We live in Club Brentwood. I dont understand the bad reviews, the manager is incredibly nice, he is ALWAYS in his office or you can go knock on his apt. door anytime. In addition, there is a full time maintenance person in the bldg. Usually within 1 day whatever problem I have is fixed. Thats unusual in an apt. bldg! The manager is very, very careful who he rents to, the residents are very well behaved and they stay a long time, unless they are students. There arent wild parties here or low class people. Incredible location as well. Although its an older bldg. its very pleasant and you pay for the location really...

This building is belong to Four Corners investment company, they rubbed me from my security deposit! I only lived here for 8 months and I hated it. The complex is dirty. There is always trash or dog crap and pee everywhere. It is also extremely loud. You can hear everything your neighbors do. And I mean everything‎.the maintenance crew enter to my apartment several times without my permission!! Overall this is a horrible place to live.

This place is conveniently located close to everything. The unit is large and we have a nice patio. However, when inside the unit we have no idea what the world looks like outside. There is no sunlight and we can barely notice when it's raining! Other than that, it has been a great place to live.
