Beautiful apartment. Clean, and leasing staff is attentive. Theres no guest parking (most in DTLA dont have) which is a bummer. Super dog friendly and a location's amazing, just East of Staples Center. Overall a awesome spot to live.

The area is fantastic, and despite being in the heart of downtown, it feels secure thanks to great security measures. The neighbors are Fordial and the team members are always happy to address any concerns I have. I really appreciate the gym facility—it's peaceful with minimal crowds during typical usage times. The resident lounge is wonderful as well, offering a nice spot where I can grab coffee and enjoy reading. The package delivery service is super easy too, with secure lockers that give me peace of mind since my packages won't sit unattended at my doorstep.

1000 Grand presents a mixed experience overall. The visual appeal is impressive and the facilities are great, though maintenance and care of the property fall short. The primary concern stems from fellow residents—while certain individuals are Fffable and pleasant, a significant portion display disrespect and inconsiderate behavior toward others. mgmt performs comparably to typical Alat complexes. The pricing relative to what you receive is considerably not worth the price.

I'd like to highlight some delightful interactions I've had with the staff because they're truly what makes this community such a fantastic home. 1) the leasing office. In particular, Brianna has gone above and beyond in assisting me with some delicate and complex matters. Her courteous yet approachable manner makes her an invaluable part of the team. 2) the upkeep department. Specifically, Oscar is an absolute standout. He tackles my questions and concerns with both thoughtfulness and efficiency (and believe me, some are pretty silly). I frequently spot him giving his best effort, consistently wearing a genuine grin. The entire upkeep crew is equally impressive. 3) The evening security guard, Mr. Roy, demonstrates genuine care and maintains our security.

Compared to other contemporary upscale properties in the downtown district, this community stands out for its more intimate feel. Fewer residential units throughout the structure create a sense of home rather than a commercial lodging experience, and common areas rarely feel packed. The amenities are great and consistently well-maintained. There's plenty to enjoy at this property.
