After getting my email box flooded with new reviews from this place over the past month I figured I would re-review... I wrote the original review a year ago after moving out (June 2010) being entirely dissatisfied with both the apartment complex and especially the management....I don't think I need to re describe all the BS and horrors my fiancee and I went through living there; you can read them below. Ultimatley its your choice. If you want to take a chance based on what happened to us and numerous other tenants, do it but leopards don't change their spots....they just hide them better after getting called out on them. Want another cool piece of info? If you internet saavy even at all check some of the IP addresses listed on this site you'll find (like I did in about two minutes) that every positive review, and negative comment for my original review is coming from the exact same place. Coincidently also from the same address that posts the fair park apartments for rent on craigslist......coincidence? I think not. I may be the only one that thinks this but having the manager of any building writing multiple favorable reviews for a building they manage and acting childish enough to write me a series of e-mails almost a year later calling me names and stereotyping the friends I have and brought into the apartment I rented, and vacated over a year ago because they dont like the review I wrote on them.....seems pretty petty to me. On another note the health department shennanigans about the bird feces next door.....Kristy didnt you tel that exact same story when I moved in more then 3 years ago? Im done with this, I moved on, moved out of state and thus far have ignored every slanderous nasty email you've sent me (outside of this site and on it) and hope that people reading these reviews are saavy enough to read between the lines of whats really going on here. If your thinking about renting here....dont. Wait until they have new management (which judging from the tone of the emails Im recieving will be soon) or check out some of the great other apartments in and around Eagle Rock...there are alot of them it was a fun place to live. If my testimony isnt enough to get you to not rent here, I wish you the best of luck....you'll need it when things start breaking.
