This building is trash, management is horrible and plays favorites. When I first got here it was decent was it has quickly declined and I am planning on moving out. Don't believe me then do a grounds walk and check it for yourself.

This place is a hell hole. There are roaches in most of the units. If you live here you will have to have the exterminator come frequently. This means you have to pack up all of your belongings in plastic bags and then unpack everything the next day. This is a major inconvenience and you will not be compensated for your labor or your time. They might tell you pets are not allowed. This is not true. The managers are rude. They will be fake-nice to you until you have moved in. If you need any maintenance to your apartment, they will blame you for the problem. The problems include electrical outlets and breakers that do not work properly, plumbing that has serious problems so much so that they have to turn off the water to all of the units to make frequent repairs. The light fixtures are difficult to open to change lightbulbs. Yes even changing a light bulb? is difficult here. The only thing good about this place is the proximity to downtown and CSULA. The apartments are located across the street from a toxic waste dump in an industrial neighborhood. There are train tracks across the street. The trains make a horrible screeching noise 24 hours a day. I was unable to sleep for the first three months I lived there. This place is only an upgrade from homelessness. Otherwise, it's gross, loud, and annoying to live here.

The apartments are ok but the management is a nightmare. The two ladies in the office never do their job correctly. Asking for things is a headache and you're better off not asking because chances are it wont be done. When I first moved in the lost my credit check and needed me to submit my information again. Also they always have random people behind their desk which makes me wonder what information people could retrieve. They also favor and bend the rules for their family that live in the building but make the rest of us abide by the rules. Usually I could ignore things like this but when this happens somewhere you live, the frustration can only continue for so long.

I lived here for 9 months. It was living hell, especially at the beginning. It was infested with roaches. A lot of Indian college students live here, and I'm assuming that's why they were so dirty. It is overcrowded, and people take your parking spaces, even when your spot is up, and you have to climb about 100 steps! It is very expensive for the crap these apartments are.

The ad for the complex claims their is ample parking, which I find hard to believe as there are 210 units. You will not find many more than the 210 spots as many tenants park on the street. Management does not keep its business hours of 9-6 as many times the office is not open at 9am. It is not uncommon for the office to be closed as both are out to lunch at the same time. Recently the grounds are looking very scruffy as the bushes have not been trimmed.
