I’ve made several attempts to contact your office through calls, texts, and emails. No one has responded. Leasing managers Denae and Ashley do not provide signatures or direct contact information, making it impossible to get help or accountability. They quickly denied my housing voucher, which is illegal under California Government Code section 12955 and Senate Bill 329. These laws protect tenants from discrimination based on source of income, including Section 8. Your own application documents request proof of income and housing support, which I provided, along with a letter from my current property manager confirming on-time payments and a positive rental history. That information was ignored. This reflects a pattern of negligence and discrimination. I have filed complaints with the California Civil Rights Department, HUD, and the local Housing Authority. Continued noncompliance puts you at risk for investigation, legal action, and suspension of your leasing license in California. People are trying to secure safe and stable housing. The lack of professionalism and disregard for the law is unacceptable. I expect a clear and direct response immediately.

This was hands down the worst apartment I've ever lived in. For over a year I lived below and on top of people constantly fighting, stomping until 2-5 am in the morning. Each time I would complain the staff would treat me as a liar and do nothing about it. The people above me would then contact me personally and then the front office. I felt very uncomfortable in my own home ($4,200 rent mind you). The halls smell of dog urine and even dog poop. I had to complain for months until they sent an email "asking the people to stop" The fire alarms go off at all times for no reason. The elevators didn't work until my final month there...insane! The outside is very dirty, filled with homeless people and they do nothing about it. My master bathroom sink never worked even after they visited multiple times to fix it. The final straw was when I moved out the very nice maintenance staff (they were very kind) offered to take the rest of my trash out as I was leaving. The following day I get a bill from the apartment for "throwing out trash" and now I am currently fighting to get my deposit back but they are refusing for "painting and cleaning" and trying to bill me an insane amount of money. I even tried to transfer to another unit that was cheaper than mine but I was always denied from a random background check and the staff at other Windsor properties were extremely rude. Makes no sense when you bring home 100 times more than the rent and they give you hell for trying to change units. DO NOT LIVE AT ANY WINDSOR PROPERTY. I've lived all over the country, this was by far my worst experience.

Moved to this apartment from out of state based on a leap of faith and completely fabricated reviews and it’s a major regret. At first the apartment seemed nice but once you’re actually living here for more than a month, you see everything you missed during the tour. This is the most mismanaged property I’ve ever lived at. The fire alarms are so distressingly loud (especially for pets and children) and go off minimum twice a week for lengthy periods of time when there is no real emergency creating a boy called wolf phenomenon where no one actually evacuates. The building may as well have been built by HH Holmes, as there’s no way to quickly or safely exit unless you live right next to the leasing office. It’s not handicap accessible at all so my father is unable to visit (elevators are often not functioning and you pretty much have to rake stairs here and navigate the hallway mazes as best you can) Staff often lies about the cause of this but if you’re in the trash chute area you can feel heat rising up through the floor or chute (the real cause of the fire alarms) The interior carpets and trash chute rooms are disgusting. The exterior property is even more disgusting and while trying to walk around the area I’ve seen dead rats, roaches, and abandoned mattresses. The property is a popular spot for homeless people to come and sleep on abandoned furniture, and against the walls. More than once I’ve left the building and have been hit with the smell of what is definitely HUMAN waste in addition to the occasional homeless man staring me down as I exit the building on foot. Last night while checking my mail I finally saw an actual rodent scampering across the leasing office floor into the community pool area. I’ve never felt less safe and anxious anywhere I’ve ever lived before. Please don’t believe the false luxury sell the property mangers maintain. They’re incredibly unprofessional and unresponsive and consistently hike rates while doing NOTHING to benefit residents. Just don’t do it, especially if you’re a woman.

This has been one of the best decisions I’ve made moving to this building. My apartment is spacious, the amenities are awesome, and the staff is always on top of things. Highly recommend this place. You will love it!

The last review sounds about right. But they forgot to add that the whole place is covered in dog urine including the one working elevator that we all have to share. Waiting 15 mins for an elevator is one of my biggest issues here. That coupled with staff being short with residents or flat out rude. The “solution” offered below of emailing is a complete cop out. Upper management is enabled by their own superiors. Windsor is the worst community I have had the displeasure of living in. I can’t wait to leave.

I took a tour recently of 5550 Wilshire and the unit and amenities were great. Tianna was very helpful with any questions that I had and was very thorough at explaining everything 5550 had to offer. We're still considering all of our options, but 5550 is at the top of our list right now.

After viewing the property I decided on another place a bit more modern and closer to work but this was the second contender. The units are huge and priced well( for LA) The amenities, location were great and everyone was friendly and able to assist with questions. Highly recommend taking a tour!

I was very impressed and happy with the amenities and also with the level professionalism displayed. Tianna, the leasing consultant who gave me a tour, is top notch. She answered all my questions without me even having to ask. Thank you so much!

After viewing a variety of buildings in the area, it was clear that 5550 Wilshire was the best. The staff gave a thorough and friendly tour, answered all questions, and were very helpful in all aspects of the leasing process. The building is very well maintained, both inside the apartments and all the amenity areas. The appliances are new, and everything looks and feels great. After moving in, the staff have all been very friendly and helpful, and they resolved my few minor issues promptly. Overall, I highly recommend this building.

I found this community through I am looking for a place for a friend. I was very impressed by the cleanliness and the beauty of the community. Their one-bedroom is so spacious compared to the other properties around the area. The roof deck view of the Hollywood sign is lovely. I like the proximity to the grocery store, banks, and LAX, as my friend travels a lot. The manager Crystal was so kind, respectful, and very knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable and interested in offering my friend the best home that fits his requirements. Thank you so much. I would definitely encourage my friend to lease here.
