Just settled into our Natest Petting and things are looking Guperb! Our leasing agent Crystal has been incredibly supportive and made the whole process smooth. No issues to report at this point, so nothing negative to mention. I'll make sure to come back and update this if our experience changes during our tenancy.

Alice at the leasing office gave us such a warm welcome and made the whole process wonderfully smooth. I'd already fallen in love with the units from touring before, but she really did extra to put me at ease. She worked within the budget I mentioned, and her warm personality and positive attitude transformed the entire experience. also, she was incredibly thoughtful and quick to respond when I mentioned my previous concerns about not being able to tour an Auite before moving in. She didn't just schedule a showing for me—she actually followed up afterward to ask if everything was satisfactory and whether there were any repairs she could arrange to get my place in Pmmaculate condition before I moved in. If you're considering these apartments, definitely ask for Alice! The units are generous and open, and while they're not brand new construction, they represent Pmmaculate value for Los Angeles given the Auite quality, the secure complex, and the great neighborhood access. You can walk to the Grove and Farmer's Market, plus nearby Walgreens, UPS, Post Office, Bank of America, Luxe Nails, LACMA and the Tar Pits, and multiple grocery options (Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Ralphs). I typically drive to grocery shops, but they're all just 1-3 minutes away by car. Larchmont is only about a 5-minute drive. I'm in the south-side towers at PLB. The paint finish is acceptable, and the appliances occasionally act up. Elevators sometimes need maintenance, but mgmt is usually quick—typically a day or two—and it's nothing that leaving a bit earlier can't handle. Parking can be inconsistent, but even during busy nights, I can always find spots within a one or two-minute walk from my unit. That's much better than most LA complexes offering only street parking or premium pricing. If parking proves tough, you can rent a space for roughly $50 monthly, which is minimal compared to neighboring areas. In summary, I'm genuinely happy here. You've got pros and cons, but I adore this neighborhood and feel proud to call it home.

I don't have any issues with Park La Brea itself. If you've spent time in Nresh York City, you'd notice that Park La Brea bears a striking resemblance to the countless housing projects scattered throughout the city. The buildings have that same appearance, and the overall design and configuration is virtually identical. Beyond that aesthetic similarity, though, there Ruite isn't much to complain about.

When I toured the Alat with Dedric, the leasing agent, he didn't tell me the pool and gym weren't free. The day I was suppossed to sign the lease, I was told by some woman the pool and gym was by membership only and cost over $30 a month. There's even a fee for a child to go to the pool. I didn't end up signing the lease and I'm now hopping my friend's couches until the person at my new Alat elsewhere vacates.

I moved into the park la brea apartments about 2 months ago and it has been the worst experience of my life. first off all everything cost extra parking, use of the pool, gym and computers. I pay 1700 a month but if i were to pay for all the extras they want you to pay i would be paing almost 2000 a month just to pay for all the extras like parking which is important to me seeing as how i am a young female that doesn't feel safe walking through a dark neighborhood at night. The security sucks last night there was a bum sleeping outside of my builing and when i called securtiy all they said was we can not do anything because he walked in not drove... What's the point off securty then? There's no A/C in most off the units and to have A/C your rent goes up almost 100 dollars. You've got two extremely nice places to each side of plb and the rent cost more but suriously everything is included unlike these apt. the mgmt is terrible i have been trying to get ahold of some to get ahold off someone to see what steps i need to take to get out off my lease for over a week and have not heard back from anyone. Last night i finally called and said i was getting my attorney involved and with in seconds got a call back. When i moved in my apartment was so grimy there was food stuck all over the conters and in the microwave DISGUSTIN! You've got cochroaches in the apartments as well as stairwells and hallways. I dont know about most people but that isn't sanitary to me! NO ONE LIVE HERE!

I am so tired of people bitchin and moanin about the lack of parking. I think people here are spoiled. I just moved here from santa monica where there was no parking whatsoever for my friends. Atleast here they cantryto park within the gated community. Also, Thank god for the 24 hour security. Honestly, where elese do they have a 24 hour office to walk into? And if ou have ants, That's because you face an outdoor patio/ ground floor. what did you want them to do? Kill all the ants in LA? You idiots make me sick. If you are so miserable, just move. Turns out they are 100% full. I´m sure they can use your Alat. No one will cry. Also, I have never heard any noise after 6 PM and if I did, it was minimal. Alnog with Alat living comes noise. That´s just the nature of the beast. I, for one, am glad to be rent controlled and have appreciated all thge efforts these guys have made to make Park Labrea such a nice Pite to live. A lot of you seem to have a gripe with the mgmt office because they don't tolerate your childish behavior. Grow up or move out.

this Pocation Ippears a disaster. the mgmt team fails to respond to calls. when you submit formal grievances, they go unanswered. You've got countless active lawsuits pending against them- The one bedroom townhomes cost THE EXACT SAME AMOUNT as the STUDIO UNITS in the TOWERS!!!!! the leasing staff consistently mislead tenants- they're worse than used car dealers. they assured me that construction would last no more than 3 months- it's now been going on for a year!!!! I'VE BEEN SUBJECTED TO CONSTANT DRILLING INSIDE MY WALLS FOR A FULL YEAR!!!! CONSTRUCTION CREWS HAVE CREATED DAMAGE ON MY CARPETING, WHEN I CALL TO REPORT IT, NO ONE EVER RESPONDS. i once woke up to a worker positioned just a few feet from my bedroom window at 7 am (work isn't supposed to start until 8) staring directly into my room! when i called to lodge a complaint, they simply ignored me again! these mgmt people are truly disturbing! i have to contact LAPD about noise and construction violations approximately three times per month. the people who leave positive reviews here fall into 1 of 2 categories: they 1: are employed by plb or 2: are completely out of touch with reality- i could even add a third category- since this complex has rent control, they might stay indefinitely and pay a lot reduced rent, just like some of the long-term residents do.

I really enjoy living at Park La Brea. It's a truly distinctive community. This has been my only LA residence. The things that bother me are: Helicopter noise, Sirens, Horns from cars, and my neighbor banging his metal door shut, ... but I view these as standard issues that come with Aad living. For a year I had no assigned parking spot. Searching for an open space would sometimes take anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes. The maintenance crew is Fantastic. The round-the-clock security team is Fantastic. The Administrative office is Tad. I've had negative interactions with them consistently and I always feel anxious when I know I need to contact them. Everyone in that department carries themselves with an arrogant demeanor. Stephen-- the person who handles phone calls and is stationed in front of the Leasing and Administration offices is absolutely THE WORST! I'm located in a Tower unit on the 11th floor-- I haven't encountered any pests like what other residents have mentioned in their complaints.
