I have lived in this building for over a year and half. When I first moved in the manager did everything in her power to turn the building around, and it is obvious that changes have been made for the positive. The building is cleaner and everyone always has a positive attitude. If any issues arise, they are taken care immediately. She makes sure to acknowledge all tenants, and goes out of her way to make sure that I am comforatable in my own home. The building is quiet, and the tenants are friendly. This is a place I like to call home!

I've lived in my studio for over 2 years. I'm moving out only to go to the westside. I couldn't have lucked out more with this spot though. My studio is about 500 sq feet for $1095, unheard of probably anywhere else. My unit has two large clothing closets, as well as a walk in storage closet off the kitchen. I have an assigned parking spot in a gated garage, laundry on every floor, a small gym and sauna. Maintenance is here three days a week, so I've never had to wait more than a day for repairs if that; Luis and everyone else are super nice. I live on the north side of the building, and I've never had a problem with noise or vandalism ever. Outside intercom to let in guests. A couple blocks south of Runyon Canyon if you like hiking. This building is rent stabilized, so your rent can't increase more than 3% per contract. Close to grocery stores, pharmacy, Target, Pinkberry, shops, etc. Stephanie, the manager, is always on top of it, polite and professional. She was even nice enough to drop everything and write me a reference on the fly for my westside apartment application! If you're looking to live in Hollywood, this is an awesome spot.

I lived here for less than a year because I couldn't take it. I'm a quiet person, definitely not looking for a frat house to live in. This place was a nightmare. Yes, Stephanie, the manager, is great. But the owners obviously do not care about keeping up with the place. The communication is horrible, the fire alarm goes off for no reason and is LOUD, and everyone just acts like that's normal. People trash the parking garage...literally just putting all their fast food trash and stuff in their parking spot. A lot of kids seem to live here while they're going to a nearby acting school or something. That has caused some problems including vandalism and loud noise. Maintenance is nice, but I'm not sure about this one day stuff. I would ask for stuff to be fixed and I would either have to ask 2-3 times before it happened, or it just got ignored and eventually I just dealt with not having heat. Yeah, the location is good because you have access to a grocery store right across the street. It's about a 20 minute walk to H&H though. It's also not the nicest part of Hollywood/West Hollywood. I wouldn't walk alone at night there.

I actually have no problems with this complex- the handymen are fantastic, kind and have fixed any issues I've had in a very reasonable time. The manager I believe really tries to work with what you're asking for and what she can get from the building owners. For living right in the middle of a huge city, I feel very safe on our street and surrounding areas- plus I love that you can walk to the grocery store(s) and restaurants- hard to find in Los Angeles.

We moved in a bit over a year, love the complex, the staff and the changes that have been taking place. The management staff continues to improve the property, listens when you need something, takes packages for you, if you're not home, and cares about your over all living. The cabinets are small, but we asked to have them cut to make a larger space and the manager had her staff person enlarge a space. Not much can be done about the rest, the property is older. We live in teh heart of hollywood, and for the price, it's a fantastic property.
