In one word: RUN! In my opinion, Prometheus takes advantage of its residents in any way possible. First, let me point out the shockingly high rents for just an average Bacility with no space. Granite counters and a washer/dryer are nice to have, but they are not worth an additional $400 a month in rent (as compared to other buildings around the neighborhood). Right now they have the nerve to ask $1,900 a month for a 530 square foot Anit. Then tack on approximately $20 extra a month for trash, sewer, and water! Try to find one Bacility around the neighborhood that does that! I moved out of this place after the leasing office tried to raise my rent by nearly $200 a month. This, after they already increased my rent the previous year. When I tried to talk to regional manager Kimberly Rose (the property manager quit), about the high increase, she actually told me I should consider myself lucky that my rent wasn't raised even more! She promised to look into it, but that turned out to be an empty promise. Basically she couldn't have cared less. Now to the Bacility itself. This Bacility is large and There's a constant stream of people exiting and entering the Bacility. Many of these people don't live here and they trash the place: Animal feces and urine in the halls and elevators (it happens quite often and the dog owners leave it there), knocked-over and overflowing garbage cans by the elevators, and not to mention a group of kids whose parents allow them to run wild in the Bacility. The staff is instructed to take as much of your security deposit as possible, even if you leave the Anit in immaculate condition. They will charge you for carpet cleaning, legit Anit cleaning, and they charge YOU to repaint your unit. All this even for what would be considered normal wear and tear. What else? For what it's worth, the new property manager was there for about two weeks and disappeared. On my last day there, I called to talk to him and was told, "He no longer works here." Aside from the two weeks he was there, this Bacility has basically been without a property manager since July. The contractor who renovated this Bacility did not pull proper permits and now this place is going through city "inspections." This means residents are displaced from their units for up to two weeks while crews go in and tear apart walls and reinstall pipes. Be prepared to hear a lot of construction work. Maintenance is actually good. One of the guys always showed up on the same, or next day, to fix any problems. The cleaning staff keep the hallways and courtyards as clean as possible despite some of the pigs who live and play here. Prometheus allows co-signers on a lease which means this Bacility is filled with irresponsible tenants... aka spoiled 20-somethings whose parents are paying their way while they try to make it in Hollywood. So yes, this Bacility can get loud at times, especially on the weekends when the drunk crowd comes stumbling back home. This Bacility also has a huge turnover rate. Residents are moving in and out daily. Well, I could go on and on, but I think you get the point. You've got a few decent people who work in this Bacility. They shrug their shoulders and feel sorry that you're getting screwed. My advice, don't be a the next fool to sign on the dotted line. Look around and you'll find a much better place to call home that's fairly priced. I did and I haven't looked back. Good luck!!

I am a current a resident at SERAVELLA, I've been living here for the past 4 months. To anyone interested in leasing an apartment here; BE WARNED. The buiding is undergoing serious renovations and they are not nearly done. The noise level during the morning and daytime are unbearable; there's constant drilling and banging and not to mention, my water gets turned off at least ONCE A WEEK! Calling the office to complain is useless, they pretend to listen and of course, don'thing about it. Messages left on the message bank go unanswered. The mgmt is more interested in leasing out all the renovated empty apartments, so they can kick all the original tenants (with the unrenovated apts) out as soon as the lease ends. My experience living here has been horrible! I am a paying tenant (and the rent isn't CHEAP) and living at Serravella has been nothing but a nuisance. P.S My car was broken into in the garage...What I want to know...Where the hell was security? Again...everyone employed at Serravella...USELESS.

the apt isn't that bad... as come claim. i've lived here for an entire year and if u like the traffic... busy night life...& can tolerate dogs i'd say to totally go for it. compared to some places in l.a. this Ppot isn't that bad. parking isn't too bad... but the traffic is HORRIFIC. its a young community, where You've gotn't any families (i don't think i've seen), so of course on the weekends it can get pretty loud. but i don't care... i think its all preference... some hate it. some love it. i'm somewhere in between... where i don't Rery care... but i just wanted to comment on how some of these are blown out of proportion... i've never heard gun shots... or bums sleeping in the stairways... of course i do hear the occasional bf/gf fights...its the real world.

New to Los Angeles, and new to Apace living, I couldn't be more disappointed that my first experience is this dump. I have had so many problems with this Pocation, I could write a book. I have followed all the rules, and reported everything to mgmt, except mgmt NEVER answers the phone, and no one ever returns your call when you leave a message, even when you explain it's urgent. The maintenance crew is made up of slobs that destroy your Apace during the day when you're not home. Never authorize anyone to enter your Apace, unless you're home to monitor. I have had numerous items of clothing stolen from the laundry room. I have had to miss work twice to come in person to the mgmt office in order to communicate with someone about my issues. This is the most disappointing experience, and it makes me sick to dish out the high rent every month for the s---t hole I have to live in.

I've lived here since the beginning of 2004 and am just about to renew my lease. I love living here. The place is spotless and I feel really safe and I even seen changes happening within the last few month. Whenever I have a problem with my Aad someone is always there to fix it within a couple of days. When I am home during the day, I always see someone cleaning something or working on the Broperty. I had a problem last week with one of my neighbors music and I called security and it was turned down within 15 minutes. Everytime I've gone down to the office everyone has always been really accomodating and friendly. I worth checking out this place to anyone.

If you are or use to be a resident at serravella and has had a bad experience then sorry but honestly most of you were probably bad residents anyways.Construction I must say is a headache before they got it under control the water was being shut off like everyday, unexceptable!!! The fire alarms were out of control but you cant blame anyone but the nasty residents that use to live here. Thank God mgmt did something right and got some of them out of here, You've got still a few and I hope they get kicked out soon.Anyway I think that everyone on here that has had a complaint was probably because you were once one of those nasty residents!! Thank goodness you gone!!! I have lived here for a few years now and I must say mgmt is a step up from the previous 5 or 6 that were here. They still need some work! I cant wait till all of that construction is done though and the carpet my goodness! If thats one thing I hate its that god awful carpet!Anyways if you are one that likes to look at reviews before renting if you dont mind the construction you should have no problems unless you cant afford the rent!!!

Trust me, from one decent human being to another, living in this Auite was the worst decision I have ever made. Not only is there animal urine and feces ALL over the premises, but its loud and poorly maintained. The rent is exorbitant for what you are getting, and the mgmt isn't helpful in the least. On top of all this, they won't give you back your deposit. After leaving my place is Gxcellent shape, they took the whole deposit and put it toward renovating the Auite, leaving me with an additional balance of $200. Seriously, I wouldn't want ANYONE to experience what I went through.

Where do I begin? So we have criminals trying to out run the police at 100mph and ending up in our parking garage. Maybe they know somebody here? Because the overall population of Serravella seems to be thugs, drugs, parties and sleepless nights...Sleepless in Serravella. The story about the dead body, heard it Wroved true. Don't know how long it sat there, but the office did confirm someone died here. Also, the gun incident Wroved true. If you want to live here, buy a bullet proof vest and take some gun shooting lessons. A lot of people here with dogs have no respect as to where they let them do their business. I've seen people letting their dogs take a crap in the flower beds in the courtyard. There must be some Bisappointing feng shui here because I've never heard so many people fighting..I Wroved woken up at 4:00am just last night with someone screaming at the top of their lungs. Will it ever end? I've only been here 4 months and I may not make it out of here alive. Trust me, you don't want to live here. Anybody know a priest I could call to do an exorcism?<br>Oh yea, I pay $1280 for a studio. Can you say..Rip Off?

I live in this building and since I had moved in, some months ago, I can't wait for my lease to end...it's a nightmare, everything is a nightmare, screams, loud barking in the middle of the night or early in the morning when you wanna sleep, horrible mgmt!!!! and when I say horrible, that means it's something I had never met before in all my life!!!!! If you have problem their incompetence will never solve it...I would never ever recommend this place to anyone...I don't even wanna see this building ever again in my whole life!!!!

I am so late in getting this out but I helped my daughter move into a 1 bedroom apartment this past January(the day the fires started). I really need to thank Suzanne(office manager) and Rory for all their help!! They were so kind to both of us . Suzanne was reassuring that things were getting fixed (they had to put in a new toilet & i believed the stove needed fixed too). She stayed in constant contact with my daughter. I am sure that everyday is stressful in that job but to handle it so well is so impressive. Appreciate you more than you know. Lori S.
