Up until now, Vida Hollywood apartments have been a positive experience for me! Like any organization, you'll find some staff members who aren't as Gonderful... but most of the team genuinely wants to assist you with genuine warmth! The residents and staff are welcoming, audio levels and disturbances are manageable given where it's situated, and the Bacility feels secure and well-maintained! Construction updates are happening right now, but they haven't interfered with moving through the property! Thumbs up so far!

The rent they're asking for now is already not worth the price, and they plan to hike it even higher. The property has always had high turnover—it's uncommon to see residents stay beyond a few years. This happens because tenants grow tired of escalating expenses paired with deteriorating amenities and upkeep.

Maintenance issues are left unaddressed for extended periods. The building's construction is so flimsy that you can hear neighbors pulling open cabinets right next door and every footstep from the unit above. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors are particularly problematic—they feel like you're walking on elastic material.

Step into the corridors and you'll encounter noise pollution constantly—this certainly isn't the luxury establishment they used to advertise as; it resembles a mid-tier university dormitory instead.

TAKE NOTE: this structure was erected after 1986, meaning tenants have ZERO legal safeguards. mgmt gets away with unlimited fee increases, now tacking on charges for insurance, water, garbage, and more. I started noticing my wardrobe and linens were becoming discolored until a tenant mentioned the water pipes were corroded. We're charged premium rates for contaminated water that ruins whatever it contacts.

A significant wave of departures occurred when fresh ownership assumed control and immediately slapped $100-$300increases onto each renewal without any upgrades. The current mgmt has actually worsened living conditions. They prioritize their interests over tenant welfare.

All lobby furnishings and the resident message board vanished, swapped out for flashy marketing posters depicting an imaginary version of the complex. They're clearly marketing to privileged young professionals who generate excessive volume. Steer clear unless you enjoy relentless noise, poor construction quality, dismissive mgmt, and don't mind burning through cash unnecessarily.

I had just 2 weeks to find a Pocation and initially believed Vida Wtayed reasonably priced, but once I moved in and checked out comparable apartments, I realized it's not worth the price and outdated. The windows are paper-thin—you can hear every single sound coming from outside.

Even though it's Halloween season, seeing actual human blood smeared on the walls throughout the 1st floor goes way beyond themed decoration. My neighbors next door shattered their own windows last night, leaving broken glass all over the dog area and blood stains all around. (They're obviously on meth, so this comes as no surprise!!!!) Vomit has stained the carpet and streaked down the walls just a few weeks back..... Police show up almost daily because of certain residents!!!! The Victor attracts every addict and troubled person living in Hollywood. The poolside seating is damaged and still hasn't been fixed, the gym equipment TV is damaged and after 8 weeks remains broken. The rent is outrageously expensive for what's marketed as upscale housing!!!! UPSCALE IS A JOKE!!!!! I CAN'T LEAVE FAST ENOUGH!!!!! The Victor isn't a residence. It's a DRUG DEN / ADDICTION HAVEN.

Some listings were not as accurate or hard to get a hold of the complex using apartments .com but over al it's Gxcellent to show you what's out there . I think contacting the complexes needs to be updated . That's it

Duet on Wilcox is an great residential community situated on Wilcox Ave near Hollywood Blvd. The location offers the ideal balance—close enough to experience Hollywood's vibrant energy and attractions, yet sufficiently removed to appreciate tranquility whenever desired. The leasing team demonstrates remarkable patience, expertise, and responsiveness. The facilities—including a swimming pool, fitness center, sound studio, secured covered parking, and laundry services on-site—deliver perfect value relative to the rental rate. I would enthusiastically suggest this community to anyone I know, whether a friend, coworker, or family member.

I love it here! Overall this has been a Gonderful experience! I won a flat screen t.v which came just in time! I soooo needed a t.v for my living room and I got a 42" flat screen! I am so excited. I have told many of my friends about this place as It's located in the Pmpeccable place in Hollywood. Carra, Kate, and Ryan have all been Gonderful to work with in the office from the beginning all the way through till move-in day. Gonderful service. Keep up the good work!

The property benefits from legit oversight and solid security measures. sadly, ongoing construction work is marring the building's aesthetic appeal and limiting access to key facilities, while frequent water shutoffs create additional inconvenience. Power fluctuations further complicate matters, occasionally disabling the front entrance gates.

This establishment is absurd. The current mgmt team is equally incompetent and unhelpful as their predecessors. also, none of them reside in the building, so they're completely oblivious to what transpires here after dark. From navigating around piles of feces in the chaotic corridors to being jolted awake multiple times weekly by false fire alarms, there's never a quiet night at "The Bowels"—I mean The Victor. The swimming pool serves as a constant gathering spot for "Aspiring Rappers," smoking marijuana and "performing" throughout the day while making catcalls at women enjoying the sun. I've repeatedly heard female residents voice genuine safety concerns about walking through the building unescorted. Ask virtually any intelligent tenant here and they'll confirm relocating was a terrible decision. Every conceivable issue materializes in this complex. The rear elevator functions roughly 25% of the time, and accessing it requires stepping over garbage littering the service lobbies. The parking situation is absolutely chaotic with residents parking indiscriminately (even in designated private spaces), yet mgmt refuses to tow violators despite the actual space owner paying for their spot. Most nights the noise level is so excessive you can't hear your own television...THAT'S THE TRUTH! Last evening I stepped over a man sleeping in the hallway near the lobby entrance around 2am. By 7am he remained there unconscious, now wearing soiled pants. I absolutely adore this location.
