I just moved into the building a couple of months ago from another state and, I have to say, I have never dealt with a leasing office that is as together as this building's. Julie Thomas, who manages the property, is fantastic. Upon moving in, she: walked me through every detail I'd need to know about my apartment; supplied me all information to get myself up-and-running (i.e. who to call at Time Warner, where to get my dry cleaning done; who to use to clean my apt); and, of course, greeted me (and continues to greet me) with the warmest of smiles each time I see her. She is beyond accommodating, never makes me feel like I'm a nuisance when I ask her a different question every day; and I truly believe she has my best interest at heart. Quality management and apartments: really, this is the ideal place to live...

I lived at Luxe Villas for a little over 1 year but had to move as I was transferred The staff is professional, maintenance is handled immediately The property is walking distance to shops and nice restaurants. I would recommend this property to anyone in Brentwood.

We moved to Los Angeles from a big city back East, and we were accustomed to downtown-style, doorman building, high-rise type living. Moreover, we lived in a neighborhood where restaurants, shopping, etc were all within walking distance. Coming to LA, we were worried about losing many of the benefits associated with that style of life. However, with Luxe Villas, we've found something that gives us much of what we liked about our old situation, plus a new LA twist. We did our homework too -- checking out Park LaBrea, the Palazzo, 555 Barrington, places on Wilshire in Westwood, craigslist listings, etc. With Luxe, we're within walking distance of Brentwood's San Vicente strip, live in a new construction building w/ great finishings in the bathrooms and kitchen, have a clean, well-lit garage and a comfortably-sized living space. The staff (mgmt. and maintenance) have been great and helpful - from when we moved in, to any issues that arise, to the upkeep of the building. Our three biggest complaints: 1) some noise vertically between apts (thumping of your neighbors feet), 2) some tenants are parent-funded rich kids, either students at UCLA but mostly seemingly do-nothings, who don't act like they belong in this kind of building, and 3) the views from the 1st through 3rd floors are awful (that comes from being used to high-rise big-city views). Security is pretty good, although sometimes tenants prop entry doors open, which is a bit scary considering how you're never really totally safe anywhere in LA. But, all in all, it's a great place, and we couldn't be happier.

Besides the utterly inept management team, this place is built from spit and paper. Unless you are used to living in a ------ tenament, the noise and lack of amenities is rather shocking. I was awakened daily by either noisy neighbors or incessant construction from across the street. The manager's response to everything was, "we are looking into it" Sure they are. I moved out after six months of sheer torture. Do not let the attractive facade and the nice area fool you. This place Suxe!!!!

The management team is so caring they help me with everything! Moving in was so simple they took away all the stress by recommending this really good moving company called Chris's Moving. They finished really quickly and were so careful with all of my items. I love it here, I can walk to Whole Foods, and get great service from them too.<br>This place is magical. Especially at night on the roof deck, you feel like you can touch the stars. I could not have dreamed for a better apartment complex in Brentwood!
