If your not home by 7:00pm, you stand a chance of not getting parking, even though they charge you a mandatory $50 monthly extra for it. Often broken laundry and gym machines go months without resolution. Although there are many professionals living in the building, there are also many students that trash the elevators and oublic areas. It's not uncommon to see half full coffee cups or soda cans sitting on top of the ash trays neaxt to the elevators or placed on the ground in the parking lot. Whenever you call the manager to report an issue, they kiss your --- to death and then never follow through. Leasing agent will lie to get you to sign lease. I've been here 8 months but will leave when lease is up. The only shining stars hear are the cleaning staff that has to maintain this place. They are top notch.

I have lived here for two and half years and am preparing to move only because I am purchasing my first home. I have loved my time here, however, and will miss the great views and friendly service found in this building. The manager, Mary, is wonderful, as are all the security staff who ALWAYS greet you by name with a warm and friendly feeling. You really feel special living here. If there is ever ANY problem in the apartment it is fixed in the blink in the eye, and the maitenance and cleaning staff always leave your place looking even cleaner than they found it. The parking is only a problem with residents allow their guests to illegally park in the underground parking, but security has really cracked down on that and even though I DO come home late, quite often, there is somewhere for me to park.

The benefits of this complex include the fantastic views (especially if you face the new Disney concert hall), the well-insulated walls, and a convenient location if you work downtown. The main drawback is the horrendous parking situation. I have since moved out, but when I lived there from 2001-2003 there was no assigned parking in the four-level underground parking structure. It was a free-for-all, and the worst part was that there weren't enough spaces for the number of cars, so if you came home late at night, you faced a dilemma: risk parking in the fire lane or risk getting your car stolen off the streets of downtown LA. However, if you don't drive or if you come home from work in the afternoon, it probably wouldn't be an issue. Management was pretty good, other than their inability to come up with a solution for the parking situation.
