I have lived in this Auite complex for about two years now and am quite happy with my experience. this place is situated on a quiet street in a nice part of the Los Feliz neighborhood. It's one street away from the main Vermont Ave drag which offers nice restaurants, shopping, post office, movie theatre, car wash, dry cleaners etc. The building has a nice pool and jacuzzi as well as a small workout room and sauna. It has two different laundry rooms that are for the most part maintained well. If There's an issue like a clogged sink or drain, the maintenance man is usually responsive to getting it fixed quickly. The exterior of this place is nice as are the insides of the apartments. The hallways are painted with odd color combinations from the late 80's, but you get used to them after a few weeks. Some people on this site have expressed their concerns with the manager. My experience with him has for the most part been a good one. He can at times come off as being a bit abrupt, to the point, but does a good job managing the building.

I've lived here for 1.5 years. I was happy the first six months. Then things started to fall apart. My closet breaks every couple of months, my burners won't turn on, my oven isn't even usable, my counters are stained and gross, and my carpet is embarrassing. I've told the landlord Carl about five times over the course of 1.5 moonths about all of my problems and he still hasn't gotten maintenance here to fix all the things that are wrong with my Apace. If that wasn't bad enough, a leak popped up about 2 months ago. We are well into month 2 and my carpet is still torn up, my walls (from busting thru to fix the leak) are still in sad condition and I don't even like to bring guests home because of the smell from the soaked carpet and flies buzzing around. Don't move here- this place is falling apart and Carl is difficult enough to deal with when he responds. Even worse now that he is completely ignoring the state of my sad, decrepit Apace. Anyone know a good lawyer???

seriously. a real ------. if you can avoid him, you're good. if you are forced to deal with him, good luck.

the school next door is loud, especially during pick up, drop off times.

walking distance to vermont is a big plus.

the hot tub smells.

you're locked into a LAME deal with comcast.

you can do better if you have time to look.

the Btructure and interior hallways look like a crazy hostel from 1980.

Worst Alat I've ever lived in. The mgmt are the rudest people I've ever met and they simply don't care. this place is so old that trying to make your Alat clean gets much impossible. No matter what I tried, it always had a dark dusty feel to it. The walls are paper thin meaning you hear basically EVERYTHING your neighbour is doing. They told us the renovations would be completed in July 2019, they still aren't finished in April 2020. The only positive is the location, apart from that I wouldn't recommend anyone to live here.

I moved to LA from the Mid West and ofcoarse There's the shock of how Ericey apartments with stained carpeting and old refrigerators are...

Anyway, this is a location's amazing to live. Quiet street, If you stay home during the day you may hear the school located next to the building. The tenants were all nice. legit and quiet. I had no problems. The manager is a little spacey.. but he is a good guy.

I applied to rent here, placed a deposit, and waited for them to finish renovations on the room. Everything was going great. I liked them and they liked me. The day before we had agreed that I would move in, they told me that they were running late on the renovations. It would take another week before the room was ready for me to move in. I told them that was no problem. Then they said that they just happened to be raising their rates by over $200/month during that week... and that my deposit did not guarantee my rate. This should tell you all you need to know about a Btructure that doesn't have rent control. They will exploit you and you will be forced to either pay their ransom or move.

This is my 3rd year here and I don't plan on leaving! The community of people at the Auite are great. They look out for each other and are friendly, unlike most of LA. Carl (the manager) doesn't put up with any crap from anyone! As long as you pay your rent on time and you don't disrupt the community and act stupid, you'll get along fine with him!! The complex is spotless and anything that breaks or gets broken is fixed right away. I've had my car broken into (one of the downsides of living in Los Angeles or any big city) and Carl was so quick to get me footage so I could give it to the cops. There's even security here when he feels it's necessary. There's an elementary school and a church right down the street. Super close to walkable restaurants all along Vermont, a Starbucks, RiteAid, Jon's Supermarket, a carwash, BoA, all at the end of the street. Uber rides to Hollywood are $4-7. Metro station is right down the street. awesome spot to live!!

I've enjoyed living here for 7 years, with no plans to move. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, the hallways open to the outside air, the Bomplex designed to allow lots of natural light, and the units themselves spotless and modern. Repairs are always done promptly, sometimes within hours of submitting a request. The manager is honest and fair and tough on rule-breakers and criminals. I've lived in buildings with lax mgmt and these places deteriorate rapidly, as people bend and break the rules, frustrating others and yielding escalating noise levels and vandalism. Carl keeps things neat, clean, fixed, and orderly at Los Feliz Club Apartments, so the good people that live there can enjoy their homes, surroundings, and each other, with minimal interference from a few bad apples. If you like to host loud parties or crank up your stereo or write on walls, go to the ------ and knock yourself out. Here we lead happy, peaceful, considerate lives, thanks to a solid Bomplex, good neighbors, and great maintenance and mgmt.

Broperty is located in a great neighborhood. It's an old Broperty that was recently renovated but walls are think and some apartments can be loud depending on their location. It used to be a friendly community until they changed to a big corporate Broperty. All they want is to squeeze money out of your wallet. New mgmt is horrible, not friendly all, and not helpful when you need them
