Lived there for 10+ years. Carl is a great manager, any issue he would take care of it in a timely manner. It's one of the most secure building I've seen. Premises were clean. Close to restaurants and coffee shops. Norma

I so loved living here upon arriving in LA. Big apartments, private parking, prime location. Carl the building manager keeps a close watch on the apartments. You always feel safe. Loved the pool and gym!

This is my 3rd year here and I don't plan on leaving! The community of people at the apartment are great. They look out for each other and are very friendly, unlike most of LA. Carl (the manager) doesn't put up with any crap from anyone! As long as you pay your rent on time and you don't disrupt the community and act stupid, you'll get along fine with him!! The complex is very clean and anything that breaks or gets broken is fixed right away. I've had my car broken into (one of the downsides of living in Los Angeles or any big city) and Carl was so quick to get me footage so I could give it to the cops. There's even security here when he feels it's necessary. There's an elementary school and a church right down the street. Super close to walkable restaurants all along Vermont, a Starbucks, RiteAid, Jon's Supermarket, a carwash, BoA, all at the end of the street. Uber rides to Hollywood are $4-7. Metro station is right down the street. Great place to live!!

The Los Feliz Club Apartments is a safe, quiet and luxurious apartment. The building has many amenities including beautiful landscaping, private gated parking, a large heated indoor pool & spa, a huge rooftop space, a workout room with high quality equipment and many laundry machines that in almost two years of living in the building, I have never encountered a day where all of the washers were taken. Another key feature in safety is the landlord is on site and on call 24/7 as well as responsive maintenance staff who make sure things are taken care of efficiently and quickly. Packages are easy to receive and are kept safe in an enclosed lobby or are delivered to your doorstep. Tenants are mostly students or people working in the industry. Those who do stay home keep to themselves and are mindful of noise. The building has a sense of calm and respect. Location is a huge factor as well. Within one block there is a Rite-aid, a Starbucks, the postoffice, a bookstore, a theater, many cafes and on Sunday there is a local farmers market. I moved into the building when I was 22 and as a young female living along, I needed somewhere safe to call home. The Los Feliz Club Apartments have met and exceeded all of my expectations and I feel so fortunate to live here.

I've lived here for almost 2 years. Great location and amenities - nice pool, gym, and parking garage. The building is quiet and generally just full of respectful, nice people. Manager Carl has been prompt and very easy to work with when small repairs or things come up. Everything is very well maintained and kept clean. We're right next to a ton of restaurants, movie theaters, bars, shops, and Griffith Park, and centrally located for getting into Hollywood, downtown, Silver Lake, Echo Park, etc.

I lived at Vue Los Feliz (formerly Los Feliz Club Apartments) for 10 years and loved my experience! The location is amazing. I walked everywhere, which is such a luxury in a large spread out city. I loved the village and really got to know the community. The junior studios are spacious and feel like spread out one bedroom apartments with balconies. I used the rooftop almost every day to practice yoga and sunbathe. The view of the Hollywood Hills and Griffith Park Observatory is beautiful. There is an amazing indoor pool and jacuzzi with a well lit atrium. Neighbors were friendly and for the large size of the building, the space was relatively quiet and peaceful. Laundry machines were always available, and I rarely saw anyone on the rooftop. I felt very safe, and the owners had nice personal touches such as fresh flowers in the lobby every week. I enjoyed working with all of the managers - Carl, Greg, Teresa and Cheryl. Cheryl was particularly helpful and supportive when it came time for me to transition to a new space after 10 years. Management is responsive, understanding, friendly and helpful. Maintenance managed expectations by letting me know what days they were coming. I recommend checking out Vue Los Feliz to see if it's for you!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUILDING. I lived in this complex for over a year and cant wait to get out. Lets start with the fact that the entire unit is lop sided and when you are cooking on the stove ypur oil will migrate to one side of the pan. The shower has little cracks and crevices that are nearly impossible to clean and are filthy. Any time u go at it with soap and water there is literally more dirt that comes out of these cracks. Carl the property manager is an absolute nightmare. I have truly never met a meaner more rude and disturbing human being. Lets get to the most important part. YOU ARE NOT SAFE HERE. My car was broken into in the gated garage that has a camera right above it. Every single thing was taken out of my car. It was flipped upside down. When i approached carl and told him what had happened he wasnt phased and told me i shouldnt leave anything in my car and it happens all the time. When i asked him to check the cameras he told me "it wouldnt do anything" He kept insisting it was someone from outside the building and refused to tell me what he saw on the tape. Told me "it takes quite a while" --------. I dont even believe he looked at them and i wouldnt be surprised if they didnt work. Your packages and laundry will also often get stolen. Trust me and save yourseld the aggrivation. This rent is way to high to live in an unsafe, not updated, lop sided filthy apt with a horrible and abbrasive manager.

I have never encountered an apartment manager so rude and abrasive. I originally emailed Carl about open apartments and when he told me one had opened up, I was eager to see the unit. He told me to make an appointment and I SUGGESTED coming in that day to look at it. I didn't think it would be a problem to ask since I wanted to get my foot in the door as I've been searching for apartments in the Los Feliz area. He rudely told that that was not making an appointment but "expecting people to fall over for you". That was honestly my first red flag. I ended up apologizing and told him I was just eager to see it and whatever worked for him would work for me. I saw the apartment the next week and it was a complete disaster. The person was in the process of moving out, which is fine, but it was dirty and filled with cat hair. I could tell the unit could be nice if carpets were replaced and it was cleaned but the fact that he showed it in this condition was another warning. As he was showing me around, he told me that this was the first 2 bedroom he's had open in 4 months and to submit my application ASAP if I was interested. It was really the area that swayed me as well as the pool and parking included. I submitted my application and he called all of my references. He texted me this same week and told me my application was accepted. I was excited since the apartment was opening up right when I needed it to in about a month so I told him I would bring in my deposit within 2 days. This was his response, "I was expecting that you were ready for this transaction, but you don't seem to be. I was expecting it no later than tomorrow. I will continue to offer it to other. I did have a good showing of it today." Literally you can say this in any other way. That along with my other interactions with him were just so rude and abrasive. I quickly decided that I didn't want to be living (literally down the hall) from a manger like this and told him that I was declining. I told him that his unprofessional attitude was what really turned me off as well as the reviews I've been reading on this site. I was as even toned as I could be when someone is rude to you and he wrote back saying that he's just trying to make earnest money and that this was the only 2 bedroom he had. Really Carl? So that 2 bedroom on a different floor that you posted on Craigslist 2 hours wasn't real? Seriously dodged the biggest bullet here. Thanks to everyone for all of your reviews. Stay away from this complex. Even though the location is a huge draw, as well as the idea of a pool and rooftop deck (not great in person), having a nosy, abrasive manager will ruin your experience no matter where you are.

I'm so glad that I read the bad reviews and thanks to everyone who wrote a bad review about Los Feliz Club apartments. You guys saved my life and my money. It's impossible for so many people not to tell the truth about this apartment. I think the management company that oversights this apartment complex, should abandon the entire complex all together. Thank you, Roobin
