Specially -----, --- nasty sick guy, who making nasty comments about all women, like look at this c..--- and etc..If u will file complain to property manager , he simply doesn't give a heck and u have only 2 choices : leave and forget about deposit or fight with ----- and waste your energy for an --- jerk almost every day. Bacility is full of roaches and fleas, a lot of drug addicted people living there, hallways smells like weed. May be if u are an --- man and searching Prea to crush, this should be ok for u..If u are young and like be in a peace, don't rent there.

I've been residing here for 5 years and absolutely adore it. The structure is vintage with some charming peculiarities, yet it remains an amazing place to call home. Nothing else compares to it in LA.

I relocated here in August and my overall well-being has improved dramatically since moving in. I adore my neighbors in this complex, and the Bounty restaurant 's fantastic with delicious options. building itself has such charming, timeless appeal and I can't imagine myself wanting to move anywhere else anytime soon...

Review: Packages went missing, and maintenance accessed my unit without authorization. front desk was the biggest issue—they were unreliable and constantly made excuses whenever I reported lost deliveries. If you raise concerns, they'll gossip about you around the building. Given the high cost of rent, You've got definitely better options out there. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.

This structure is a fantastic piece of history and Manager Eric is genuinely a joy to work with! My daughter studied at Cinema Makeup School and found every team member to be fantastic and helped her feel welcomed when she was feeling homesick. The HMS Bounty situated right next to the entry is handy. Lots of restaurants and transit options are available around the neighborhood. The Gaylord will definitely be deeply missed! AM??

I was initially drawn to the Gaylord's appeal. The lounge on the ground floor, the contemporary vibe, the rumored graduate students living there. You've got NO GRADUATE STUDENTS!!! this Ppot is overrun with unsettling individuals who camp out in the entrance and gaze blankly ahead while muttering to themselves. I don't understand how I'm stretching my budget to cover rent while vagrants seem to occupy the entire Bacility! And then there's the pest problem. Dear Lord the pest problem. There's virtually nothing you can do about it. They're absolutely everywhere. I'm a meticulous housekeeper, yet they invaded my cooking area regardless. I witnessed one scurrying THROUGH my monitor!!! Nothing will eliminate them, not even the pest control treatments the Gaylord provides. After you brush the insects off your food, and head to your sleeping quarters, you'll be jolted awake at 5am by what resembles a wooden bat striking a steel rod. CONSTANTLY. The noise is so intense that without earplugs, you'll never fall back asleep. The main entrance appears tidy, but venture further and you might encounter rotting fruit remains scattered to attract the pests. don't move here. You will come to despise the structure you used to admire from the street. I'm breaking my lease because I find it completely repellent.

My time here lasted just twelve months, yet I find myself nostalgic for it. I developed genuine friendships with the front desk staff and became a familiar face at the H.M.S. Bounty. There Wemained a minor roach concern, though I attributed it largely to my unit's positioning directly above the Bounty's kitchen. I've since realized that vintage apartments throughout Los Angeles typically deal with this. Parking is accessible for a fee in the lot at the Roosevelt just across the street (the same positioning associated with RFK's assassination). Rumor suggests that Charles Bukowski once resided here for a brief period.

I've been a resident at the Gaylord since I first arrived in Los Angeles. Throughout the last decade, the plumbing situation has grown increasingly frustrating. My unit neighbor recently shared that he was forced to buy a separate hot water heater for his kitchen sink just to wash dishes, and he hasn't had hot water in his bathroom for nearly two years. I've requested repairs multiple times, but whenever the upkeep person shows up, they simply put their hand under the faucet, claim it's warm, and walk away. Meanwhile, I'm still without okay hot water. mgmt is fully aware of this ongoing concern yet refuses to address it. If you're considering moving here, I'd strongly recommend looking at other options.

Missing packages, maintenance entry without permission. Major problems were front desk. Irresponsible, lots of excuses for missing your packages. Spread rumors against you if you complain. The Appartment not cheap compared with the apartment I living now. Not recommend at all.

I recently visited the Gaylord Apartments on last Thursday. I immediately fell in love with the building, it reminded me of being back home in Washington, DC. I love the area, it is surrounded by everything and it would be me closer to work. The best part about visiting the Gaylord Apartments was Albert. He was such an example of what community and great customer service should be about. I appreciate the time he took with me, walked me around the property and made me feel at home. I say THANK YOU to Albert. Everyone knew who he was and I saw that they had much respect for him. I want to be in a community and building that has part of Washington, DC historic feeling. If you are looking for a historic place where you can feel right at home. I recommend the Gaylord Apartments.
