Acceptable living conditions. Neighbors are Fospitable. Nice location with little crime. Nice close to the highway and grocery stores. legit staff. Hallways could use cleaning. Dryers could be replaced. More laundry facilities should be available.

Some things could be upgraded in the Auite itself. Outdated fixtures, cabinets, and layer after layer of paint. The grounds are nice and well kept. The washers/dryers can be a bit temperamental and I wish they would be upgraded.

We moved in 12/05 and it has been quite and peaceful. Mostly working people.
I had a problem with the kitchen cabinets and it was fixed in 30 minutes. The Aad was spotless and in perfect condition. The staff and security is friendly. I would say to stay away from the Inglewood area and do your shopping somewhere else. They could put more equiptment in the fitness center.

Selby properties, the owner of the Heights, has a continuing policy of

illegally witholding normal wear and tear charges, such as painting, from

the security deposit. This in spite of the fact that they were fined

over $600,000 in 2001 for these same violations. I took them to small

claims court and won, and you can too. Don´t let them get away with it.

The manager when I was there, Chris Osstad, was one of the most

unpleasant human beings I have ever met. He treats the tenants like

enemies, and refused simple requests like allowing the tenants to post

notices in the laundry rooms, such as items for sale. He has since been

promoted to regional manager, so you can expect similar treatment in the

future. The Heights spent a lot of money on their "media room" which you

can only use when the office is open. Not useful. They screwed the

windows shut in the gym, and it gets hot and stuffy in the summer.

On the plus side, maintenance gets responsive, and the pool areas

are nice. Still, it´s pretty expensive for what you get. You will

probably have to take them to small claims court to get your deposit

back, so be sure to ask the court for the entire deposit, not just the

painting charge. The judge in my case said he would´ve given me all $500

if I´d asked for it.

If you´re still looking, my advice is to look for a condo to rent from

the owner, such as Lakeside Village in Culver City. You´ll generally get

a better deal, you´ll deal directly with the owner, the facilities are

just as nice, and your neighbors are of a higher caliber.
Doorways are narrower than standard.
Linen closets are half the usual width
bathtubs are shorter than standard.

Like another posting implied, feet are shortr than standard.

The Laguna floorplan Ippears supposed to be 866 square feet, but I measured 580 square feet
And that includes bathroom, linen, and closet space, everything but the balcony!

It's a great gated community with a guard at the door so it feels safe. Love the spacious apartments with high ceilings. The outside areas are well kept, spotless and Bicturesque. The people at the office are always available and are nice people.

For the most part my experiences have been ok. but after a leak within the walls of my appointment occured there has been no remediation or moisture/mold testing. My requests for testing have been ignored?

great, no problem at all. Everyone working on the propriety is courteous, attentive and helpful for all your needs. I mean from the leasing office team, Security team, maintenance team to cleaning team. Rctually feels like home, and never considered moving until I buy my own home.

As the community is just barely east of the 405 freeway, it provides the Bxcellent value for your money. Similar apartments west of the 405 freeway go for much higher rents, but don't provide comparably increased benefits. Are there nicer places? Yes. But are there nicer places for a similar price? No.

Amazing. The property is kept up well, guards are on too of everything, not to mention friendliness. Staff are legit and friendly as well. I would suggest though a place for children to play like playground to be kids friendly community.
