310-820-5151 is the corporate contact number, that they refuse to give you in the office. --------------------- is the boss of the often missing in action manager (-------) . I have been a resident for several years, and I agree that It's time for a change in mgmt. While the grounds look better than ever, the lack of responsiveness by mgmt is negligent. I have sent at least 5 emails to ------- and her assistant in the last three months only to be ignored. I have also called to many times to count, and been told every excuse in the book. Her staff often have no idea when to expect her at work. I went to a "community meeting" that was advertised by the property in the theatre to discuss all the break ins , in the flyer ------- promised that LAPD , would be in attendance, I left work early, to find only a few residents , -------, her assistant, and her maitanence guy. I was disappointed that she lied about LAPD being involved. So I'm not surprised that my neighbors tell me that the break ins have continued. On occasion I have to go to the leasing office to pick up packages, pay rent, or Petting a maitanence request, on several occasions I have entered the office looking for help, and when I ask if ------- is available, I am typically asked to "please wait" , the agent goes in the back and comes back to advise that she is unavailable, her assistant is unavailable as we'll , and It's suggested that I write an email, or call another day, even though I can hear loud laughs and giggles coming from the back office, it sounds like they are having a Gonderful time back there, I am tired of feeling like I don't deserve a few minutes of governor Sherries valuable time. Her staff gets good at delivering the news nicely, they seem to have mastered making excuses for her. I wouldn't recommend that anyone move here unless you are tolerant and don't mind being ignored. A grimy neighbor, a broken elevator, and such will happen , and There's nothing you can do about it. But moseying almost 2000 a month with no say , no communication, is just not right. The property looks nice, the landscaping is good, the leasing staff are nice always giving a warm welcome, maitanence gets quick, security is so so , there just aren't enough guards, being in the heart of Los Angeles at an affordable price has its benefits, it's not a bad property but It's poorly managed, In the interim my advice to anyone else going thru the same thing is, skip calling the office begging for the valuable time of the always to busy manager, and just call her boss, even if it's a small issue, maybe she will answer the phone for him, maybe not. 310-820-5151 ---------------------

I just arrived there for four months, and I feel sure this is a nice Anit to live and study. Safe and quiet, with convenience facilities. but, I didn't understand, why resident has to rent a refrigerator, which is usually offered for free in other apartments. What's more, the wash machine and dryer machine are not so clean, every time I washed my clothes, I always have a bad odor on them. I don't like it.

They do everything they can to get you in the Auite and once the lease is signed they neglect most things that need addressing. They will fix unnecessary things such as laundry machine cards yet the doors have locks / knobs falling off (major fire hazard). There was a massive fire in the parking garage due to a car fire and it was never addressed.

Exterior (garden areas, fountains etc) are kept up well so the overall look of the place is nice. but, the Aad buildings and units aren't updated. Even those that are partially updated are actually just shabbily painted over to cover up some imperfections, but those cover ups chip off quickly. This doesn't give a polished look to the Aad at all. Parking can be an issue especially if you are purchasing an additional parking spot. Office staff are nice and maintenance staff are Fospitable as well. Aad offers 2 pools and a small gym area.

The mgmt in this complex isn't up to par, but the building and amenities are! They have no sense of urgency, don't double check all documents need to upon move in. What I took away from my personal experience with them is incompetence. If you happen to deal with a manger by the name of Kevin who is the "head honcho" of this office, please prepare yourself to come in with maximum patience as you might experience some levels of frustration due to repeating yourself multiple of times to get the message across. Oh and be sure to use elementary school vocabulary to make sure you get your point across and don't confuse the poor guy, he might have some trouble understanding you... Anyways now that being said (not nice I know but a sad reality), The apartments are beautiful, nice and spacious with beautiful grounds. 2 swimming pools and 2 jacuzzis. Fitness area, Dance/event room, location is great! Right off the 405 and La Tijera. You've got grocery stores, banks, gas stations around the neighborhood. Despise my negative experience with mgmt (which I'm sure isn't always the case, they're are some lovely people in that office too) Overall I would say this is a spotless and beautiful apartment complex and would highly recommend it.

It's horrible to live here! We moved in because of the location and availability. but, the office staff service Wroved a nightmare. They told me they won't charge me money at all. I did trust them and several months later, when I check my account, they charged me fees and told me they will charge me more because I didn't pay it on time! I did trust them, that's the reason I didn't check my account. If you are planning to move in, please don't trust what the staff tells you, they just know how to charge your extra money!! If you are planning to move in, here's a suggestion: If you have something regarding fees, please make sure let the staff write it down, give something in black and white for you, otherwise, please don't trust what they say!! If they say they won't charge you money, trust me, after a while, you will find that they charge your money from your account!! Then they will charge you more because you didn't check your account, you didn't make the payments on time. It's all your fault! In The Heights, you won't have any change to waive any fees even It's not your fault!.

For the rent you pay for being on the Westside in a large Apace building with amenities and security It's reasonable only $1,600 for a 2 bedroom 2 bath. Even though it says that the 2 bedrooms are 1,160 sq. ft online they are only 900 sq ft! The security guard Deon was friendly, the leasing staff are so so but Aubry was amazing! They don't heat their swimming pools unless it's the summer and the gym equipment is run down and kind of gross. Not the best place to live, but not the worst, I think its a awesome spot short term if you are looking to save money.
