“Don’t move here! They have some very questionable people working for them, who are trusted to have keys and access to your apartment. We left for the Bahamas on 2/5/2020 and returned on 2/18/2020. On 2/15//220 the manager Angel Fuentes entered my apartment claiming there was a plumbing issue, he entered without my permission or knowledge. When I returned home I noticed that my son's Nintendo Switch had been stolen, we left it sitting on the couch when we left, came back home and it was gone. Angel has entered into my apartment in the past without my permission or knowledge. These are some shady people. The head Manager Brian Arrowsmith is just as bad as the manager Angel. I've asked Brain to put me in contact with his manager or the owners so that I can have my concerns addressed, Brian refuses to give me a phone number or even an email address for his manager or the property owners. I'm in the process of filing a police report for this incident. They also refuse to fix things in the apartment, the apartments have roaches, and are old and outdated. The walls are paper thin so your neighbors can here your full conversation. This neighborhood is not safe, I moved to this particular unit because these units are gated but tenants are allowed to prop the gates open for hours at a time, sometimes overnight so you can forget about having the extra security of that the gates are suppose to provide.”

He also told me I could purchase a stove from the surplus that that had for about $150.00 . I was shown several photos of the stoves that were for sell. Tonia ,younger black ----- with the war paint and weave to her ---.She has a nasty attitude and should not be in the business. She will argue with u about repairs and the general upkeep of the property. Gang infested ,------ no parking trashy hallways with graffiti. Not safe dont u are responsible for water bill ,water pressure so low u cant wash dishes allow some other water source in the unit to be used at the same time. Foreal no shower and flush at same tume. Water bill on top of rent for two roughly $70.00 .Oh yeah power blows out in whole apt at least 3 or 4 times no lights fridge out gotta wait for repair. Twice happen after midnight scraery to be in ------ with no power.”
“This place has the WORST customer service specifically talking about Sergio, He was so rude and disrepectful! Austin my leasing agent at the time was the most careless procrastinator in history. I do not reccommend them, There actions were ridiculous and I have no more respect for this ------ --- company. There service is cheap also. THEY DIDNT GIVE ME MY HOLDING DEPOSIT BACK.”
— 4220 SANTA ROSALIA DR · LOS ANGELES“First, The management is incompetent. There is no clear communication between corporate and the management. Sergio, the manager is a nice guy don't get me wrong but he's quick to state a fact but somehow it always backfires. What he says is always contradictory from what really happens. Don't let the cheap rent and the appearance of the nice apartments fool you. It's all cheap. The walls are thin. Our garbage disposal has been broken since we moved in. The repairs take forever and are unsatisfactory. The heater is outdated. When we first moved in, we lived without a stove for 2 months and our gas bill was 200 bucks. WTF! Somehow the rent is cheap but the price increases with the hidden fees that Jones and Jones charges you. Either from the gas or the bugs that were already infested in the apartments that they claim was never there. Jones and Jones totally ruined my 1st experience to Los Angeles. I would never refer or recommend anyone to stay here. Its not worth it.”
— 4220 SANTA ROSALIA DR · LOS ANGELES“Just moved in and already regretting it. People in office have lied on more than one occasion. If it were not for my job time constraints and the limitation of having 2 cats, I would not have signed a lease. First, on showing me the apt, the agent said that a garage comes with the apt. No mention was made of an extra $20 a month for the garage. It was not until I was ready to sign the lease that I learned that the garages were not available. (I had already told my auto insurance that my car would be in a garage.) Second, they told me that there would be a pet deposit for my cats. Absolutely no mention was made of having to pay an additional $50 per month for the cats until the day I came to sign the lease. Third, they asurred me there was no serious bug problem. When I get in, I find that there are roaches (probably in the walls for ages) as big as small rats!! Fourth, they said I could pay the rent by check in the office on the 3rd. Only after I had signed the lease do I learn that management will no longer accept checks AND anything after the 3rd will require an automatic $50 late fee. Since my job does not deposit my pay into my account until the 4th of the month at the earliest - and that only because I have direct deposit - I would have to pay an additional $50 every month for missing by just one day!! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!”
— 4220 SANTA ROSALIA DR · LOS ANGELES“I wouldn't ever recommend anyone to live here management stinks. They are rude. You have to argue for months @ a time to get repairs. Repairs are almost never satisfactory. Jones & Jones Management sucks 100%. Signed a current tenant. I haven't had a pleasant experience with this company since I signed my lease. Oh yeah their excuse for everything is I wasn't here before. Their site management has changed @ least 5 times since 2008 at least 5 times. 4220 Santa Rosalia Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90008”
— 4220 SANTA ROSALIA DR · LOS ANGELES“First, I want to preface this by saying that I am not a resident of Crenshaw Village. My wife and I viewed a few of the apartments in the complex. Here was our impressions: The price was excellent. In the Los Angeles area, it's almost impossible to find a 1 bedroom for less than $900. Furthermore, it was quite spacious for the price. The same realty company owns basically the whole 2 or 3 blocks around the rental office and the properties did appear to be well-kept. The property manager seemed to be genuinely concerned about the upkeep of the area. Plus the apartments are right near a shopping center that has a Wal-Mart and other stores, and very close to a mall. So, it has all of this going for it. The first con was that the apartments seemed to be roach infested. The ones we viewed didn't have creepy crawlers pouring down from the ceiling or anything, but they were there, particularly in the kitchen cabinets. What really bothered us was that all of the units had been re-carpeted and repainted. They would have at least exterminated before they did any improvements, yet there were still roaches. Not a good sign. To his credit the property manager didn't try to downplay the problem, insisted that they were currently working on it. Another is the area. Crenshaw Village is located in the Baldwin Park neighborhood. To get there we drove through parts of Ladera Heights and Angeles Vista, which are very nice and affluent African-American neighborhoods. After crossing Stocker street onto Santa Rosalia, we noticed a marked decline in...er..."niceness", such as graffiti, an abandoned storefront, and transients on the corner. We passed a few "questionable" figures within the complex; two women wearing bandannas and coats with marijuana leaves imprinted on the back, and a young man with extremely baggy pants who gave us the stink eye. Even so, we wouldn't classify it as "------", meaning it doesn't approach the gang-torn images of Compton or South Central. Overall, the complex itself seemed very quiet, there was no trash scattered around, and the lawns look well-maintained. Crenshaw Village also has a lack of designated parking, although we were told we could purchase a garage for an extra $20 per month. The biggest turn-offs for us was the lack of stove and refrigerator. When asked why the apartments were not furnished with these two items (which we thought were required in all rental units), the reply was that tenants kept stealing them. We were unsure of whether to laugh at this or be very concerned about the caliber of neighbors we'd be acquiring. The dearth of public transportation was a non-selling point for my wife, who is very enthusiastic about bicycling and public transport (though to be fair we did see a lot of bicyclist nearby, which cheered her up). There is a bus line nearby, but no light rail lines. So there you go. They're really not bad apartments, and if you're desperate for a place you could easily do much worse. Really, the complex looks very nice and apartments we saw were huge for the price they were asking. However the visible roach problem, lack of stove and fridge, and lack of more public transportation options led us to not choose Crenshaw Village.”
— 4220 SANTA ROSALIA DR · LOS ANGELES“If there are no garages available you have to deal with the horrible street parking. The price you pay is good for the space you get but the building is roach infested and there are not counters but metal in the kitchen and bathroom. I would recommend as a place to get on your feet but NOT PERMANENT”
— 4220 SANTA ROSALIA DR · LOS ANGELES“The apartments are cool. Its the best kind i seen that is close to the college and for the price it good.”
— 4220 SANTA ROSALIA DR · LOS ANGELES“I am shoked by the amont of ------ that live her. I never see anything like it.”
