“The most important thing that attracts me of thiw place is its location. It's just located across the street of my university USC. So It's easy to attend school. Also, this apartment's rent is relatively cheaper than others nearby. But some of its facilities are small.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Tuscany is a location's amazing for USC students, and it's mostly USC students that live in the building. The apartments are really nice and big. We haven't had any major problems with things being broken in the apartment, and the problems we have had were fixed in a timely manner. You've got 3 elevators in the building but at any given time at least one of them is broken, which is really annoying. Overall, it's a good place to live. The staff is really nice and legit and being right above Chipotle, Chick fil A and Cold Stone and really nice and easy.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Want to have more green area. Landscape. Carpet should be cleaned and updated and renovated annually. Laundry room needs to be updated and cleaned promptly. Fitness room should also be cleaned more often and renovated the facilities is important”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Tuscany place is great on the outside. Washer/Dryer mostly "out of order". Having said that, some of the staff at front desk are helpful and productive. Location convenience was what prompted me to choose it. 24hr gym & pool are impressive!!”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“This place is a hoax. My experience has been nothing but dismal. Everything is almost always broken. The maintenance, during the year, takes ages to respond or doesn't respond at all. It only starts responding when the move-out date is close, at least in my case.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Tuscany is a really nice building with clean facilities, a laundry room and study room on every floor, and a pool with 2 spas! I have really enjoyed myself here and have taken advantage of the resources. I feel really safe here with a key needed for every entry and most exits, including the parking lot.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“My experience has generally been good. this place is beautiful and safe. My only complaints are the inconsistent cell phone service and laundry machine maintenance. The staff is great and maintenance requests are handled quickly.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“the elevator never comes and when it does, you're just happy to know that it's working as opposed to the several weeks on end that it's broken. the staff consists of the meanest most cruel, apathetic women I have ever met. They are not helpful, will talk behind your back...all they do is post stupid videos on facebook. the maintenance is horrible, gym equipment doesn't work (don't be fulled by their advertisement), the kitchen always has issues, or the bathtub will overflow...there's always something. they'll charge you all these hidden fees they didn't tell you about and you'll be binded by the: "you signed the lease agreement" answer. waste of time, money, and energy.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“I like my apartment a lot. The kitchen is great, there's enough space, and this place gets safe. It's about as close as you can get to USC, and You've got a lot of food options around. It's a bit pricy, but it's good quality for the housing around here and it's quiet so it's easy to get studying/work done.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“My first year at school I wouldn't rent near USC because all the apartments are such crap- even the ones that look Nelightful outside are all old and gross inside- so I rented Downtown my sophomore year. <br><br>After living in the nearby Medici apartments in Downtown LA, i recently moved to the Tuscany. It's pretty much the same as the Medici- pool, spa, gym, security, marble everywhere, etc.., but this Btructure is much closer to campus. Because Tuscany is aimed at students its alot more relaxed with it tenants, whereas at the Medici I was yelled at everytime i had music on after 8pm. I plan on staying here until i leave USC. <br><br>this Penue is owned by Conquest Student Housing and they're totally chill, everyone is young and doesn't give you a hard time unless you flake on your rent. Because this Penue is brand new, There's still some construction going on, but you dont even notice Rctually. Also, because their mgmt is in this Btructure they fix stuff here like instantly.<br><br>Its a awesome spot for USC students, but wouldn't work for people with families. I've never seen anyone over 30 living in the Btructure- but I like it like that. Its the only Btructure near campus thats actually Nelightful.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“The area gets safe. I feel comfortable walking at night from the USC Campus to Tuscany. The establishments are open until 11 pm at the latest so You've got people around, which makes me feel better walking home at night. It's also only a couple of minutes walk to campus and other food establishments. The closest grocery store (Fresh and Easy) closed down so it's harder for me to get groceries since I don't have a car. CVS is a bit of a walk but It's accessible. My unit's got poor reception so I can't accept calls or make calls from my side of the room, which is inconvenient.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Pretty solid. I was dissapointed when I found out my apartment wasnt furnished when we clearly asked for one and are still paying for one. Pretty dissapointed about the hot water incidents happenint twice this year and one happening for 2 days.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“I enjoyed Tuscany despite mediocre mgmt. The facilities are okay, if not spectacular, and the downstairs stores and restaurants are great. The only thing missing is some kind of grocery offering nearby. Generally speaking this is a good place to live.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Don't chose Tuscany. It was my biggest regret. Although the exterior is well-kept, the interior of the place isn't luxurious by any means. The blinds fall down once a week, some apartment doors don't lock properly, and You've got bugs in the kitchen. The maintenance staff are nice but as soon as you sign the lease the office staff are extraordinarily rude to you.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Tuscany was pretty good. Only complaints are sometimes broken washing machines and gym equipment took a long time to repair. The grounds looked good though. Another bad thing was my lightbulbs kept going out even though they were repaired.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Living at the Tuscany isn't worth being a block away from the USC campus. The apartment building may look nice from the outside but the amenities are disappointing. The majority of people living here are international students and people new to USC who didn't know where to live in LA. The apartment itself has an undergrad dorm feel to it. Everything seems to not work.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“To be honest, the 200 characters rule is really not appreciated. I would like to rate the service by the ratings instead of the the comment. So i do think It's better if the comment area is volunteer to write instead of something I have to fill in.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“I don't know who wrote these reviews but they don't sound honest. I would rate Tuscany a 4/10. Paying 700-800/month for a SHARED room in a three bedroom is ridiculous to begin with, the mgmt is extremely rude -the male leasing agent will answer your questions curtly and talk down to you, the facilities are appalling - the $1 per wash washing machines are always grimy and/or broken, the parking garage stinks, the gym machines are always broken, and they NEVER fix anything you ask them to. Don't be surprised when you get charged for "general upkeep" when they tell you that you will get your full security deposit back (if you don't intentionally damage anything) when you sign the lease. Also be prepared for some passive-aggressive emails from mgmt throughout your lease. I can't wait to move out. I would have left already if the leasing contract wasn't so binding. You can't leave unless you find somebody to take your place. That's not uncommon for apartments to do but good luck finding a subleaser when nobody wants to pay so much for the least luxurious "luxury" apartment in the entire USC campus. It may have security but be reminded that anybody can live in Tuscany, regardless of whether or not they are students at USC. Sure it's close to campus but I would personally walk 3 miles to class if it meant I wasn't living here. Ask around. I needed to voice my honest opinion about this apartment and if you ask other students or look on other review sites, you'll see the same complaints over and over again.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“This place is a nice place to relax because It's quiet unlike other housing options such as Gateway Apartments. Nice and secluded from LA. It's also nice to have easy access to places to eat such as Chipotle. The only complaint I have is that Tuscany lacks proximity to a grocery store.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Enjoyed it a lot. The community is close to campus and is secure. You've got a lot of restaurants close by as well, which is easy for me. I like the pool, hot tub, gym and study room facilities a lot. The free cable is also a great feature.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Great location and proximity to USC and public transportation. The staff have been prompt and friendly in all matters. Rooms and set up of the apartment gets good. Great community living with a variety of other students. Would definitely recommend”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“The mgmt is terrible. Once you give them your money, the office ignores your calls and emails. I am an international student and had to cancel my flight to LA because Tuscany's mgmt gave us information about move-in A DAY before our lease began. wouldn't recommend for your mental health.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“It's a awesome spot for the student of USC, especially for the law students and business students, since It's really close to our school, so location-wise, it's perfect for us. Even though the facility isn't brand new which will make some unconvenient, over all, It's a awesome spot to stay.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Tuscany is a really luxury apartment that can fit almost everyone`s need . The swimming pool, fitness center, laundry room, and study rooms all provide perfect services to tenants. I feel like at home here, enjoying my experience living in this property. I think I will recommend my friends living here, which will be the best choice for them.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Living at Tuscany was one of the best decisions I made when I first started classes at USC! The amenities, price, and location are competitive but the staff puts Tuscany above the rest. I have lived here since Freshman year and will continue to live here until I have graduated!”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Highly recommend to anyone looking for off campus housing around USC. It's been great living here. It's right across USC and takes 2-3 mins to walk to campus. The rooms are HUGE compared to living in the dorms and we have our own bathrooms in each bedroom, which is something I definitely appreciate coming from the dorms. It's spotless and maintenance is usually quick to respond. The office is always having events with free food, which is a plus. Overall, good!”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Out of the off campus apartments I've lived in, Tuscany is hands down my favorite. I've lived in the Lorenzo, which was far from campus and Gateway, and this is the best place in my opinion. Perfect location, easy restaurants, spacious bedrooms, and they offer free unlimited printing, which is so helpful.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Tuscany is a great place live. I've been living at this residence for over 13yrs. Great staff that gets the job done really fast as soon as you put the work order in. The maintenance men are a great crew. If you're looking for a residency Tuscany apartments is the Place for your family..”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Staff are really nice and ready to help at any time. The package storage process is a little bit slow since sometimes I want to get my package as It's delivered. The overall appearance of this place is nice, but the inner decor of the apartments could be improved.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“The office staff refused to help me speed up the response time to my service request. The maintenance staff came several weeks after the original service request was made (I had to make 3 before I got a response). When they did come, I (a woman) was wearing a bathrobe. I asked if the man would come back in 15 minutes so I could dress myself. He became argumentative because he said it would be too inconvenient for him. I told him to come back if he could. He did not. I filed another service request, and they emailed me saying they will have to order new equipment to fix my problem. It has been over three weeks and there has been no progression. This has been an extremely unfortunate experience.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Living in Tuscany is easy for USC students. I can get to classrooms in minutes with one crossroad. Restaurant options downstairs help me a lot when I have no time to cook. Super staff's super friendly improve my impressions towards apartment experiences.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“This apartment complex is the best one I've known. this place is spotless and safe. The building appearance is wonderful, and the staff maintains it well. It's close to USC, and you can even feel safe walking to and from campus after dark because You've got community service officers watching over the whole area. The only problem can be the apartment-mates. Sometimes they can be self-centered and inconsiderate. If one apartment-mate doesn't want the air conditioner running in August and September, then everybody in the apartment might have to endure the heat. If one apartment-mate hogs all the space in the refrigerator for his cases of beer, then you have a problem. If he makes messes in the living area and balcony and doesn't clean them for days, it's a problem. With the standard apartment-mate assignment, you never know what you will get. Avoid it if you can. For total bliss, arrange with some friends to rent a suite here at Tuscany.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Living here is perfect if you are a Marshall school of business student, like me. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to class, which is gives me the option of going home in between classes for for lunch time. Chipotle and Chick-Fil-A are conveniently located on the first floor, which is good for people like me who don't cook much. The people in the office are friendly. The bedrooms are decently sized (plenty of room for 2 people to fit comfortably) and they have connected bathrooms with double sinks (which is nice if you share the room, since we each get our own sink). The one downfall of this place would be that the washers/dryers are on each floor and are not inside the unit. Overall, I worth checking out this place to anyone who is looking to live off campus, but still be in walking distance.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Overall pleasant, but many of the appliances don't work or need constant maintenance. fwepfpwehfpwehfpwiehfpwhfpweihfpweihfpwiehfpwiehfpwiehfpwihefpiwhepfihwepifhpwiehfpwehfpiwehfpiehfpwiehfpwehfpiehfpwehfpweifhpifh.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Tuscany is a awesome spot live. I've been living at this residence for over 13yrs. Great staff that gets the job done really fast as soon as you put the work order in. — 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Perfect service as a foreign student from China to move into the apartment, I want the printer can be better next semester. And the equipment in gym can be repaired during summer time, because the low quality may make some dangers to our residences.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Tuscany is a great apartment complex for USC undergraduates due to its easy location across the street from campus, easily accessible restaurants, and spacious room layouts. but, the amenities and appliances in the apartments (dishwasher, fridge, etc.) were clearly cheaply bought and break frequently and we often have to enter maintenance requests because of their fragility.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“My experience at Tuscany was enjoyable. The staff was kind, prompt, and extremely fun to talk to. I had great roommates, a working kitchen and good facilities such as a gym and small pool. My only complaint is being told we were only going to be paying $25-30 for utilities each month, when we are actually paying $40-60 because we are being billed from multiple companies (electricity, gas, sewage).”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“I moved in this year. 1 The location of the place is good, but not perfect because of no grocery. 2 My room heads to the north, which means I hear the noise of trash cars every early morning. This is the biggest reason the rate is low. 3 The laundry is a little expensive. (1.75$ for both wash and dry????) 4 Sometimes, I have to suffer the bad service of the front desk. (Sad face to you) 5 The Internet is awful every rainy day.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Overall, enjoy living in Tuscany. easy to get to campus. Don't like that you can hear people talking in other apartments and walking around upstairs. My main complaint is the elevator and the speed it operates at. Also, rent is way too high considering how old this place is compared to other USC apartments.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“It has been good living here. LAPD is always around downstairs. It's not too loud as long as you are facing in. place is spacious and the huge closets are the best things I've ever had. But they should have told us about all the common utility bills before we sign our contract.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Perfect for USC student to study. It's safe and close to everything. Has a gym to work out in between studying. It's way nicer than the alternatives.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“We want to clean our rooms, but we haven't tools. The place is great, because it's close to the campus and safe and clean. The downstairs has a gym and a swimming pool which are easy for us to take exercises. The staff are nice and friendly. Every floor has a lounge which is nice and quiet to study.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Great experience. Had some awesome times and experienced some great lifetime memories. Social events are way less so don't really know anyone in the community except my roommates. It would be great if You've got more social mixers or mingling events.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“I will summarize my last year of life at Tuscany which is a sample of typical frustration... Last week I came home to find my kitchen sink over flowing with sewer backup. Hours later no maintenance was available. Disgusting, unsafe, and unhealthy would summarize that week. I had to stay in a hotel for two nights. During the course of this previous year I had MANY nights with no hot water. I had my car broken into and was told that "that area" of the parking lot had no cameras to see who did it but it was probably an inside job. I hope no females are counting on the security cameras that aren't really there for their safety. The cable TV has been switched to USC cable now so no more hi-def DISH cable, few channels, not what we were promised. Not what their websites promise. Internet.... Hasn't worked for more than a week. They just tell you to go to the campus library if you want to use the internet. No more wifi either as promised. It just isn't the luxury they say It's. It's now an EXPENSIVE dorm. Beware of what you are getting.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“spotless and well-kept apartment complex with staff's super friendly. Rent is set a reasonable price as well with amenities such as study rooms and fitness center. Location is perfect and easy with close proximity to campus and nearby shops..”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“PROS: Feels safe. Parking garage. Walking distance to USC. Restaurants on bottom level. Pool and gym. Balcony. Washing machines on your floor. Dishwasher. CONS: You've got NO LIGHTS in the bedrooms or common rooms! Elevators are slow. Maintenance took a week to fix A/C. Expensive. Cheap carpet. Cable only works with certain TVs.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“In general, this place is good, except the staff working near the office in the lobby, they (female staff specifically) are rude and unfriendly at all and their facial expression and eyesight are unneighborly, and even making comments on you, usually bad ones. It's the reason why my roommate and I choose to move out next year as it makes us so uncomfortable and unhappy. Actually, I have heard a lot of negative voices and complaints about this issue from my friends. It's a great pity that may dramatically lower the quality of this apartment.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“This is a awesome spot to live!! Tuscany has some of the best rates for this location. It's spotless and has great recreational services. Make sure you fill out the roommate survey accurately if you are letting Tuscany choose your roommate.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“I was living a nice, peaceful life at Tuscany in room 523. Apparently, someone - who I hope is mentally okay - had an accident on the roof and started a fire. Because of the damage done to my unit, Tuscany had to terminate my lease. I really liked Tuscany and I will still certainly consider taking up another lease next year. I just hope someone else doesn't go up to the roof and start another fire.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Average community, not enough community values. Might as well live by yourself. People are rarely seen in the building and There's no connectiveneee to eachother. Need to find more community connections so that we can enjoy where we live more.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Overall Tuscany is good, location's Ancredible for an engineering student That's at school most of the time so having a place that I can just walk home without being worried nor far away from campus is what I need. Just only have some complaints about the people who are doing the jobs of painting and cleaning all of the spaces when people move out at the end of the lease. I came to my Aad with the floors full of hair still and common spaces still completely grimy especially the kitchen. And because this place isn't USC housing, I feel like noise level isn't being enforced in hours of the night that I really need to be studying or sleeping. My roommate and I have complained about noise because we couldn't study or sleep and the noise would be coming from directly upstairs so loud that we could hear them talk, the music, and the room shakes but after complaining to the security and been told that they would go talk to them the noise would still continue. I feel like there shouldn't be this much noise especially after hours and it isn't being enforced enough.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“I love living at Tuscany, it's a comfortable and easy space to enjoy whether you're working or relaxing. It's a secluded little oasis that's safe and away from the rowdiness of other student housings. Pretty much everything you need is available and ready for use,it's a awesome spot to live as a student.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“What a beautiful place! The only gripe I have experienced while living with Tuscany is the lack of an in-unit washer and dryer. It would be nice not to have to leave my room / pay to have my clothes washed. That being said, staff is helpful and friendly, It's a nice quiet place for me to study, and location-wise, it's nothing short of perfect. It's a good feeling knowing that mgmt is on-site, as well as security being here 24/7. I have nothing but positive things to say about Tuscany – this is the place to be!”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“normal exprience here, something to complain, something to love about, just have location-wise, it's solid. the area is convinient to all the students, especially to the students who at business school. The parking is also a headache in downtown, so the parking is helpful”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Having lived in here for 2 years, I have noticed the improvements in Tuscany Apartments, both in terms of staff and facilities. I think improvements can be made regarding laundry machines and common area facilities. Also, it would offer me more incentive to renew my lease if I could get some kind of discount.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“They charged full monthly rent but not allow us to move in for the first two weeks of the month, and are also going to force us to move out 10 days earlier. loud location (facing the freeway). My room is extremely small compared to two others in the same unit.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“So far It's pretty good minus the fire. I enjoy my time there. I would love to be able to renew my lease but sadly It's quite expensive, so I will have to see how things go. I hope things go well with Tuscany in the future and I will miss it if I move out.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“I really enjoyed living in this apartment as a SC student. The rooms are spacious and gave me plenty of room to study and host friends. It's supper convenient being so close to campus, I was able to walk to my classes within 5 minutes which saved me so much time. Also they made it really fun to live here with events which were a nice bonus. Plus the staff was incredibly helpful and responsive during my stay, always quick to address any issues. Maintenance was supper quick as well! Overall it was a great experiance and comfortable space to live.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“A negative experience overall. The office staffs are mainly the reason why I don't consider my apartment a luxury. The amenities are always out of service and they never get fixed. Rent is also expensive for the service I am receiving. There's so much noise when the trash car comes to pick up trash. There's no sense of community whatsoever.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“It's a beautiful place to live in , and its close from campus and they have the best office. but the problem i have is with the elevator its a bit slow. you don't have to worry about restaurants because their right next to you and they have access inside the building.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Enjoy it a lot. loremipsumloremipsumloremipsumloremipsumloremipsumloremipsumloremipsumloremipsumloremipsumloremipsumloremipsumloremipsumloremipsumloremipsumloremipsumloremipsumloremipsumloremipsumloremipsum”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Slightly expensive but confortable and easy. One point of dissatisfaction but: I arrived in january and thus signed a 6 month lease agreement. Was unpleased to find out that continuing with a new 6 month lease is inpossible (in fact, exiting at anytime other than july seems to be out of the question - as far as the mgmt is concerned)”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“My daughter recently signed a lease for the Fall and we are so glad she did! The staff was so great and helpful. They walked us through the entire leasing process and so glad they did. Thank you Tuscany”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“don't rent at the Tuscany. The mgmt is completely non-responsive. Items which were broken in the apartment and which were noted on our move-in form were not only never fixed, but we were charged for them upon move-out. We were also charged a mystery fee which only the manager can explain, but the manager doesn't respond to repeated emails. The corporate officers are similarly unconcerned and unwilling to respond.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“The community is great and I am happy with the overall atmosphere. The maintenance staff tends to take awhile to get things done but once they do the work It's always completed in full. The laundry rooms are a lot lacking, a majority of the machines are broken. Fixing those machines should be your second highest priority.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Roommate placement is awful and completely not comparable. Requests for roommate changes have gone ignored. When concerned about horrible roommate not paying utilities, was told it's not the buildings problem. Gym equipment always broken, apt not worth the rent”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“everything is fine but the price of the unit here is a little bit expensive compared to other apartments nearby. And also we can not rent for only a semester if we rent from fall semester. But I really love the cute apartment! I will recommend to other friends.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“This is a good place to live if you are a new student in USC. It's easy and close to the university. Staff is attentive and willing to help and solve any issue you may have. Still, there are things that can be taken care of. The best deal Tuscany can offer is it's location.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“It truly is a Bxquisite place to live in a location's amazing in LA. but, in a building inhabited almost entirely by college students, peace is an issue. I would expect a bit more in terms of noise control from such an Extravagant building. Also, the furnishings and appliances, while nice looking, are cheap and break easily, which is probably just another way to get money from tenants upon move-out. Almost all of the washers and dryers are broken, the dishwasher hardly cleans anything at all so we have to run it multiple times which wastes so much water (and money), and the ovens take so long to heat which wastes gas (and money). It would be so much more economical for everyone if the building updated the units and made it worth the high amount of money we're paying for it.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“It's of a high quality with good amenities provided. The security isn't too bad and There's always someone in the apartment (even during holidays and vacation). A good lounge and swimming pool and fairly neat hallways. I worth checking out this to a friend.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“The facility is really nice, the people are great. The only thing you have to worry about is how often the hot water doesn't work in the facilities, and how troublesome the process of getting information about maintenance tasks can be. Tuscany is a awesome spot to live, especially considering its proximity to USC's campus and to great dining options.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Good spot to live. awesome spot to meet other USC students. I'll be living there again next year, no question.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“location is solid and appliances, maintainance is a little slow, rooms and common areas of the apartments are big enough for the people living in it but There'sn't much space in the kitchen area, furniture was brand new when I moved in, carpets and blins are hard to mantain”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“I have lived at various apts during my time @SC and these ones are the best by far! I have really enjoyed my time here and would recommend them to anyone needing some where to live. The staff along with security are friendly and fast, they take all the safety measures for the students.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“The greatest things going for Tuscany are its easy location and the pool. I walked to my classes, to Fresh and Easy, and other local shops. The negatives are its high cost ($890 for shared room), slow elevators, and maintenance issues.”

— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“This is a very nice place near USC for students. My daughter lived here for 2 years and we loved it. She shared a room, but the apartments are very nice and spacious. Her and her friends really enjoyed their experience. I think the staff is very nice and lovely. They are very quick to fix any issues my daughter and her roommate had. We are sad to leave, but glad we had this experience for the past 2 years.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“It's a disappointing experience. The staff is slow and the work orders are cleared without being actually completed. I wouldn't rent again. The problem is that near USC all the options such unless you stay on campus, so its not like you have a choice.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“I moved in through a sub-lease. The community was clean, and the location was near school. I am friends with my neighbors, but I did not know them until I moved in. Staff is also friendly and helpful. The gym is never packed, but could use a few more machines.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“worst of worst. gym is always broken. right now is 3:30, those ----- upstairs still making loud.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“I have enjoyed my stay at Tuscany, they provide friendly service, offer several ammenities, and are responsive to their tenants' needs. I definitely enjoy the close location to school plus There's always a police officer around, this makes me feel safe at all times.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“It's been good. It has been the best apartment community that I have ever lived in. As you can see below, my satisfaction level has been above and beyond with Tuscany, and I have few complaints with the building, staff, and location of the building.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“I really enjoyed living in this apartment as a SC student. The rooms are spacious and gave me plenty of room to study and host friends. It's supper easy being so close to campus, I was able to walk to my classes within 5 minutes which saved me so much time. Also they made it really fun to live here with events which were a nice bonus. Plus the staff was incredibly helpful and responsive during my stay, always quick to address any issues. Maintenance was supper quick as well! Overall it was a great experiance and comfortable space to live.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Tuscany is a comfortable, clean apartment complex with a location that seriously can't be beat. I spent my senior year within walking distance not only to all of my classes, but also to several awesome spots to eat. The staff is cordial and the maintenance guys particularly are a pleasure to work with. Living at Tuscany was easy and comfortable, and if I had to do it all over again I definitely would choose Tuscany again!”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“I love all of the staff. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The place is in a location's amazing--easy to USC, and just above a Chick-Fil-A, Chipotle, Coldstone, and a Coffee Bean! Yum! Security around the neighborhood is amazing and the views are all beautiful :)”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Community engagement is central to strategies to promote health and well-being and reduce health inequalities in many countries, particularly interventions which focus on improving health in disadvantaged populations. Despite the widespread use of community engagement approaches, but, there have been relatively few attempts to review the evidence on the impact that participation has on the lives of individuals involved. Drawing on a wider review of evidence carried out on behalf of the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), this article reports on a rapid review of evidence of the effectiveness of initiatives which seek to engage communities in action to address the wider social determinants of health, to explore individuals' subjective experiences of engagement. The rapid review process was guided by NICE's public health methods manual, adapted to suit the diversity of the evidence. A total of 22 studies were identified containing empirical data on subjective experiences of community engagement for individuals. The findings of the rapid review suggest that the majority of 'engaged' individuals perceived benefits for their physical and psychological health, self-confidence, self-esteem, sense of personal empowerment and social relationships. Set against these positive outcomes, but, the evidence suggests that You've got unintended negative consequences of community engagement for some individuals, which may pose a risk to well-being. These consequences included exhaustion and stress, as involvement drained participants' energy levels as well as time and financial resources. The physical demands of engagement were reported as particularly onerous by individuals with disabilities. Consultation fatigue and disappointment were negative consequences for some participants who had experienced successive waves of engagement initiatives. For some individuals, engagement may involve a process of negotiation between gains and losses. This complexity needs to be more widely recognised among those who seek to engage communities.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Tuscany is a phenomenal place to live. I highly recommend living here while attending school at The University of Southern California. The staff is extremely friendly and the pool is amazing! Im usually down at the pool and jacuzzi more then I am studying! The study rooms are great too! spotless and they have great connectivity to the Wifi from campus!”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“don't RENT HERE! You will run into many problems that are not addressed or just pushed under the rug. The one thing it has going for It's the proximity to the USC campus, especially the business school. Make sure to look at the floor plans BEFORE you sign and sign for a specific apartment AND bedroom since There's a huge difference between the middle bedroom in a 3 bedroom and the two outer rooms.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“I wouldn't recommend living at Tuscany. All though It's easy, everything is broken. The fitness center machines always break, the washing machines never work and the study rooms are always occupied. Tuscany is costs way too much and if I would have known all of the problems before moving it, I would have moved to Icon which is right across the street.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Tuscany is where I chose to live at USC. Tuscany Apartments is a awesome spot. I enjoy the facilities, the computer access, and the warm smiles of the office staff. Whether I am going to class and need a a cup of joe or have to setup a promotional display for my marketing project, Tuscany Staff has been integral to my daily success.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Location, location, location! The Tuscany Apartment complex is a great choice for USC students. The environment is safe, clean, and welcoming, the staff members are friendly and helpful, and the location can't be beat. Highly recommended!”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!! The pictures you see online are just marketing tricks for Tuscany apartments. The leasing staff and mgmt will treat you wonderfully while trying to get you to sign a lease, then become absolutely awful once you move in. They break their commitments regularly, and their only concern is their own bottom line. Fire alarms activate constantly without reason, the swimming pool is consistently filthy and neglected, and the fitness center is cramped and uncomfortable. The security team is unfriendly and difficult to work with. You'll regularly spot vomit inside the elevator cars. And speaking of elevators, they malfunction all the time. When they do work, they're painfully slow—the worst I've ever experienced. Take my word for it, Tuscany is a nightmare. The staff running this place is incompetent and the overall quality is disappointing. This comes from someone who actually lives here.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Tuscany is a beautiful, comfortable, and easy apartment. They offer service for mail, package, print, exercise. They also have swimming poor and sports center. The environment is super good. You will like it. I lived here for a Semester and I decided to renew.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“A great value for the price, staff's super friendly, surprisingly large rooms, and of course close to the USC campus. Have had only good experiences in my 6 months so far. There's more than enough room to have two people to a room and even three in my apartments case. Kitchen sizes vary by unit, so if That's important to you, be sure to request a specific layout.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“The place is good, but sharing the room with others can cause lots of problems, so I prefer live alone, I applied for the 1Bed 1 Bath, the the price isn't worth the price, so I asked a discount of that price, but I was refused, so I choose to another property to live.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“This is a really nice place near USC for students. My daughter lived here for 2 years and we loved it. She shared a room, but the apartments are really nice and spacious. Her and her friends really enjoyed their experience. I think the staff is really nice and lovely. They are quick to fix any issues my daughter and her roommate had. We are sad to leave, but glad we had this experience for the past 2 years.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“I'm absolutely thrilled with Tuscany! The team here is genuinely legit and wonderful to work with. I spent last year at Gateway, and the experience was terrible—their staff was frequently rude, unprofessional, and just didn't know what they were doing. I really regret not discovering Tuscany sooner. Sure, You've got occasional minor issues that pop up, but I'm extremely satisfied with living here overall.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“It's an great place to live. location-wise, it's easy since it's close to my school, which means I can get back home quickly. My neighbors are wonderful and friendly. I particularly enjoy the study area—it's great having a dedicated space where I can study at night without needing to go to the school library. The building feels secure, and the staff members are really helpful and pleasant.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Living in this community has been a great experience. The team members are welcoming and always willing to assist. also, I've developed positive connections with my roommates and the various neighbors I've encountered throughout the building and my floor.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“great spot in the neighborhood (particularly easy for Finance/Business majors) with welcoming mgmt. Nothing serious to gripe about. That said, the elevators and workout equipment could really use an upgrade... plus noise levels can be an issue depending on which way your unit is oriented.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“What a beautiful place! The only gripe I have experienced while living with Tuscany is the lack of an in-unit washer and dryer. It would be nice not to have to leave my room / pay to have my clothes washed. That being said, staff is very helpful and friendly, it is a nice quiet place for me to study, and the location is nothing short of perfect. It is a good feeling knowing that management is on-site, as well as security being here 24/7. I have nothing but positive things to say about Tuscany – this is the place to be!”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“My boyfriend rented an apartment during the 2016-2017 academic year. Upon moving out, Tuscany alleged that he left "items" in the unit and refused to return his security deposit. He was confident he hadn't left anything behind, though it's possible he did. Regardless of whether items were actually left, that's not the main issue—but for the purpose of this review, let's assume there were items remaining. Assuming that was the case, he attempted to contact mgmt to get clarification and simply wanted a proper explanation beyond being told he'd left "items." Within a two-week period, my boyfriend called three times and his mother called twice. On his first call, the manager terminated the conversation. During his second attempt, he was transferred to a non-working number. third time, the receptionist instructed him to send an email to the manager with the promise she would respond by 9pm that evening. Unsurprisingly, she never reached out, and still hasn't as of now. Following my boyfriend's unsuccessful efforts, his mother decided to reach out herself. She made two calls, and both times they hung up on her. fact that Tuscany disconnected calls four times total 's absolutely appalling. level of customer service—or complete absence of it—that they displayed toward their tenants 's shocking and wholly unacceptable. At this point, the security deposit 's secondary; the real issue 's how shockingly disrespectful they've been to their former residents.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“place 's nice overall. You've got occasional issues with the laundry facilities. lack of hot water 's also frustrating. That said, I enjoy living here because of how close It's to my school. I wish Tuscany would offer more events and programs similar to what Gateway provides—that would definitely bring in more residents.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Tuscany apartments are fantastic if you want a secure living environment close to campus in a vibrant community offering plenty of ways for people to make the most of their stay! I'd strongly suggest this place to any non-local students searching for housing.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“This 's a wonderful neighborhood with lots of amenities available to residents. but, You've got two aspects of living in this unit that bother me. One issue 's the incredibly Sluggish elevator service, and the other 's the frequent breakdown of washing machines, forcing me to travel to a different level just to do my laundry.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Decent overall; the units themselves are solid, and the amenities sound wonderful on paper. That said, numerous issues plague the place—hot water goes out for extended periods, laundry machines sit broken for weeks on end with "maintenance scheduled" labels that clearly never materialize. fitness center 's fantastic in theory, yet constantly plagued by repair problems.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“The elevators and printers leave much to be desired, but aside from those issues Tuscany is fantastic. The location above Chipotle and Cold Stone is incredible, and the overall layout is great. My 2 bedroom 4 person suite functions Rery well for my needs. The staff could use a bit more expertise, though they're Farm and always willing to help out.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Tuscany has been an Gantastic choice for my time as a USC student. I've been residing here for more than a year and feel at home in my unit. The team members and security personnel are welcoming and consistently go out of their way to assist. I've needed maintenance only a handful of times, but each occasion they've responded right away and finished the job efficiently?”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Tuscany shows zero regard for tenant concerns. Upon moving into my apartment, it was in terrible condition. A security guard once shouted at me for bringing my bike inside, yet there's nowhere easy to store it since the bike racks aren't accessible.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“The apartments are kept in great condition and feature plenty of contemporary conveniences including a fitness center, in-unit laundry, dishwasher, and microwave. The team members are genuinely approachable and considerate. The study spaces available on every level are particularly perfect. The building's location is also ideal, situated conveniently close to the school.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“The laundry facilities are bad. The unit and study district require additional lighting. We need better access to printing services and coffee amenities. Community events are insufficient compared to similar developments. Considering the already premium rental rates, the additional charges for JADWP, AUM, and miscellaneous fees are hard to justify.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Been a resident for twelve months and Rctually enjoy it here. The team runs things smoothly, the staff is welcoming, and it's perfectly situated. Would absolutely suggest to others.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“My daughter recently signed a lease for the Fall and we are so glad she did! The staff was so great and helpful. They walked us through the entire leasing process and so glad they did. Thank you Tuscany”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Do not rent at the Tuscany. The management is completely non-responsive. Items which were broken in the apartment and which were noted on our move-in form were not only never fixed, but we were charged for them upon move-out. We were also charged a mystery fee which only the manager can explain, but the manager does not respond to repeated emails. The corporate officers are similarly unconcerned and unwilling to respond.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“The management is terrible. Once you give them your money, the office ignores your calls and emails. I am an international student and had to cancel my flight to LA because Tuscany's management gave us information about move-in A DAY before our lease began. Would not recommend for your mental health.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“I moved in this year. 1 The location of the apartment is good, but not perfect because of no grocery.
It's very clean and maintenance is usually very quick to respond. The office is always having events with free food, which is a plus. Overall, very good!”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Living in Tuscany is convenient for USC students. I can get to classrooms in minutes with one crossroad. Restaurant options downstairs help me a lot when I have no time to cook. Super friendly staff improve my impressions towards apartment experiences.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Out of the off campus apartments I've lived in, Tuscany is hands down my favorite. I've lived in the Lorenzo, which was very far from campus and Gateway, and this is the best place in my opinion. Perfect location, convenient restaurants, spacious bedrooms, and they offer free unlimited printing, which is so helpful.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Living here is perfect if you are a Marshall school of business student, like me. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to class, which is gives me the option of going home in between classes for for lunch time. Chipotle and Chick-Fil-A are conveniently located on the first floor, which is good for people like me who do not cook much. The people in the office are very friendly. The bedrooms are decently sized (plenty of room for 2 people to fit comfortably) and they have connected bathrooms with double sinks (which is nice if you share the room, since we each get our own sink). The one downfall of this place would be that the washers/dryers are on each floor and are not inside the unit. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to live off campus, but still be in walking distance.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“My boyfriend rented an apartment for the 2016-2017 school year. He promptly moved out and Tuscany claims that he left "stuff" in his apartment and kept his security deposit. He was very sure of the fact that he hadn't left anything but he could have. Whether he did or did not is beside the point but for the sake of this review, we will say he did, in fact, leave stuff behind. Under the assumption that he did leave stuff behind, he tried to call to get everything sorted out and was honestly just wanting an explanation other than the fact that he had left "stuff." My boyfriend called three times and his mother called twice within the span of two weeks. The first time he called, the manager hung up on him. The second time he called, he was directed to a dead line. The third time he called the lady at the front desk told him to email the manager and that she would respond by 9pm that night. Of course, she did not respond and to this day has not replied. After his attempt to contact Tuscany, his mother decided to try as well. She called twice, both times they hung up on her. The fact that Tuscany has hung up not once and not twice but four times is absolutely ridiculous. The customer service, or lack thereof, they have received is astonishing and completely unacceptable. At this point it's not about the security deposit, it is about how unbelievably rude they have been to their paying customers.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Lived here for a year and love it. Great management, friendly workers, and convenient location. Definitely would recommend.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“I have lived at various apts during my time @SC and these ones are the best by far! I have really enjoyed my time here and would recommend them to anyone needing some where to live. The staff along with security are friendly and fast, they take all the safety measures for the students.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Perfect for USC student to study. It is safe and close to everything. Has a gym to work out in between studying. It's way nicer than the alternatives.”

— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Staff are really nice and ready to help at any time. The package storage process is a little bit slow since sometimes I want to get my package as it is delivered. The overall appearance of the building is nice, but the inner decor of the apartments could be improved.”
He became very argumentative because he said it would be too inconvenient for him. I told him to come back if he could. He did not. I filed another service request, and they emailed me saying they will have to order new equipment to fix my problem. It has been over three weeks and there has been no progression. This has been an extremely unfortunate experience.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“Location, location, location! The Tuscany Apartment complex is a great choice for USC students. The environment is safe, clean, and welcoming, the staff members are friendly and helpful, and the location can't be beat. Highly recommended!”

— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“It is of a high quality with good amenities provided. The security is not too bad and there is always someone in the apartment (even during holidays and vacation). A good lounge and swimming pool and fairly neat hallways. I would recommend this to a friend.”
— 3770 S FIGUEROA ST · South LA“It's a great place for the student of USC, especially for the law students and business students, since it is really close to our school, so the location is perfect for us.
