“This is by far the worst place I have lived in Downtown. Front door smells to dog urine and they NEVER clean it. Building materials are of the lowest quality possible. Pool is DISGUSTING. Gym is tiny and depressing. Amenities in the apartments are dated. Closet is small and not practical. My tub started to fall to pieces, UNACCEPTABLE. Multiple indentations on the floor. Elevators are most of the times dirty. The smell in the aisles of every floor can’t be worse, specially near to the trash shut. For what you pay in this property yo can get a much better place in Downtown. I can’t see the day my lease ends and I can get out of this place.”

— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“This is definitely my top 5 apartments I’m interested in. Great location, close to the interstate. I looked at a 15th floor and the views are amazing. The parking garage is nicely lit and not scary to park.”
— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“The complex has a great location and building is generally maintained well except for the main entrance. There is a constant smell of urine by the front door that has yet to be taken care of. You can see yellow stains in the grout and any given day a fresh stream of urine. Management is very harsh and combative especially ------. When attempting to rent the apartment I was given a very hard time by her making what is typically an exciting moment one that left me second guessing if I want to live here. I proceeded and regret not listening to my instinct. So far every encounter with ------ has been negative. I don't understand how she doesn't have a shred of hospitality or niceness towards residents who effectively pay her salary. Most residents in the building do complain about her frequently amongst ourselves and she is the main reason some have moved out.”
— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“I stopped by on Thursday for a tour. I was unable to tour because I forgot my ID at home. I spoke to the associate Dennee and she was really informative. Although I couldn't see the place I know that she was knowledgeable. She give me a list of all the available homes. While we chatted I saw the maintenance team running around power washing and cleaning the place. They were also washing the Windows when I walked in . I like to see a complex getting the upkeep it needs. Certainly coming back to tour.”

— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“It is good but it definitely could be better. Like for example the apartments could be cleaner and more kept up. There could be higher quality items in the apartments as well. Also the leasing process could be a lot better and give you more than 24 hours to complete everything.”
— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“The community overall is ok, dogs can pee in the doors so the smell when you walk out is terrible, and maintenance is really irregular and anybody takes the responsibility. they should clean outdoors more often and the parking exit is really slippery when it rains so sometime cars just get stocked there.”
— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“Renaissance Tower is excellently located within the heart of Downtown Los Angeles/South Park. Grand Hope Park is beautiful, well-maintained, and serves as an excellent backyard. The Rooftop Pool/Hot Tub/Community Areas are huge perks!”
— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“This community is beautifully designed. It is a pleasant place with thick walls that resist sound transfer. There are great resources here that add to the beauty and convenience of living here. We are pleased with the friendly neighbors and staff. The pet policy is great. We enjoy seeing happy animals every day.”
— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“The place is very dirty. Hallways with scratches, dents, crumbles and filthy carpets. Elevator with buttons missing, dents, stains and scratches all over. Pool and jacuzzi are disgusting. I cannot believe you guys do not have somebody to clean the pool, and the common areas weekly. It shows, everything is dirty and I see crumbles along with other dirt for over 2 weeks. Unacceptable. This is one of the main reasons my friend is leaving early from the Renaissance, he would rather pay to break the lease early and move into his new place where is cleaner, nicer and updated with new technology rather than staying here and waiting out until his contract ended. It looks horrible when we bring guests. Other renters and I were discussing that if we are paying this much for rent, we expect a good quality of life. As well as being treated fair, nice and professional by the leasing agency.”
— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“So far I am very impressed with the community, staff, grounds, and location. I havent been here very long, but I like what I see so far and I would recommend to a friend. I really hope my experience continues to get better as I am excited about my new apartment.”
— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“Avoid living here if you can help it. The hallways stink, people let their dogs piss in front of the entryway so it reeks and attracts flies. There are mentally ill homeless people all over the neighborhood, pooping on the streets. The elevator is frequently busted, the leasing office gives lip service but could care less. I'd say these units are 30-40% overpriced for what you get.”
— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“I never thought I'd live downtown, but I am having the best time. The Renaissance Tower is the perfect location. It's close to everything I need including groceries, entertainment, a haircut, etc. I am so happy I moved here. Oh, the park on the grounds is a great plus. Nice place to go decompress after a long day at work. I cannot forget the staff. They are always helpful and friendly.”
— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“It has been great! Brandi working here has made my life so easy when Ive had any question she is there! The building is always clean. The only thing Ive noticed is the elevator is down a lot but that isnt a problem for me as I can just take the stairs”

— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“I enjoy living here. It is a great downtown location and I have a wonderful view. Shopping and restaurant are close and it is easy to walk around the area. But there have been occasional maintainence problems, particularly with elevator and water shut offs.”
— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“........................................................... good”
— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“Great place to live, it is safe. Pretty quiet, when it isnt the staff handles it.. but this community is so money hungry it is ridiculous. Paying $150 for a new lock and keys when someone broke into my car and stole them? I thought they would be a little more understanding, especially when Im paying almost $2000 in rent.”
— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“The maintenance staff has always been responsive and helpful. I have only had 3 maintenance issues in which I reached out to Windsor, and all three were quickly and effectively resolved. I appreciate the workers, as they are kind and respectful.”
— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“We love the location. Community amenities like the roof deck and pool are great - amazing views over one of the only proper city parks in LA. Very pet friendly building (we have a dog). Only complaint is that other residents allow their dogs to use the main entrance area as a toilet - rather than walking 30 seconds to the designated areas on Olympic & Grand.”
— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“Great apartments with a great team of leasing agents working that will literally know your name after the first time you meet them. The apartments have good features and they are taken good care of. The pool deck and lobby have been renovated while Ive lived here and they are great now, a great place to grill up a dinner with friends and hot tub with a great skyline view of downtown.”
— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“Elevators sucks, guest parking and laundry is too expensive, laundry is messy....... I dont recommend this apartment. Also, security peple are changed a lot, so I feel like unsafe. Sometimes, security people were gone to somewhere, so they do not work.”
— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“Zero rating if I could!! Worst management- they are just trying to rip off with fees and strict leasing rules. When it comes to leasing policy they will show you all laws and leasing document but when it comes to giving service- they DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING- I have been at this place for a year and half - the elevator stays broken FOREVER!! They promise all fancy stuff in the beginning and then nothing stays as promised- with the new manager- Denae- things have gotten worse- dirty place, lack of customer service sense and crazy inflexible policies to just take more money from the renter. The intercom had been broken for over year now which is such a big inconvenience to guests, entire place smells like dog urine, the pool is always dirty, for over a month the parking structure was filled with sewage water dripping over the head. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE- find other apartments in downtown but not this one. Lease extension policy is made in a way to charge extra fees to the renter and absolute no sense of customer service with management staff.”
— 501 W. OLYMPIC BLVD · LOS ANGELES“this is a good apartment and they have quick response to every request...................................................so I want to recomment this apartment to my friends!!!!!!!! this is so so so amazing apartment except shared laundry”
