“My tenancy here was one of the worst I've ever had. Firstly, when I moved in the apartment was not clean and there were dead bugs in the kitchen cabinets. There was also rust on the light fixtures. Maintenance requests were not taken care of on time. The property manager and his spouse are both rude, condescending and do not respond to requests in a timely manner. For the majority of my tenancy both elevators had permits that expired 4 years ago...yes four years ago. When I asked about the permits I was told that there were current permits just not in the elevators. Under California law that is illegal, however I gave them the benefit of the doubt and asked where the permits would be I received zero response. My garage gate remote stopped working. Instead of fixing the issue I was told to replace the battery using my own money when the battery was not the issue. After almost a week of little correspondence and being forced to park on the street even though I paid for gated parking, I was given a new remote. The common areas of the building itself were so dirty that tenants took to it themselves to clean them. Unacceptable when there are supposedly cleaning and maintenance staffs on site weekly. Packages were also stolen from in front of residences doors from people who did not live inside the building even though the building claims it has "controlled access". The weekend I moved out the last bit of my belongings there was urine in the main elevator and used underwear. I do not recommend living here. I moved out before my lease even ended. Even though the location is ideal and close to places in both Hollywood and West Hollywood, the rent being charged is not worth what you are given. You can find other places within the area for about the same price with more amenities and a more welcoming atmosphere.”

“My wife and I have been here since 2008. Landed from NZ and from the go we got on famously with the building manager. There are two common walls but NEVER have we heard our neighbours. We have however heard music from upstairs but hey, it is Hollywood and some noise is to be expected... I have about 6 neighbours I always frequent and hang out with...we're pretty much it when it comes to using the pool too! We've had plumbing issues, nothing major and the manager sees to there repair immediately. Contrary to one the other reviews posted, there hasn't been a change in management since we got here in Oct 08. How do I know? Our door is right next to the office! We have a south facing apt (all day Sun) and we've never used the heater in winter as the insulation is A1. One huge issue I do have is the growing concern of homeless people in the vicinity...having said that, It's not a fault of management here... We are moving but that's because our 6 month old needs his own room and no 2 bedroom apts are within this building. We leave our alt with fond memories and future lunches etc with the building manager!”

The management company will flat out lie to you about any concerns you bring up. People here do what they want, play their music as loud as they want, and the management gives you attitude if you bring any of this to their attention. If you are looking to hang out, not sleep, and do damage to public and private property, this place may be for you. But then again, you could find that elsewhere much cheaper!”

There was a syringe out front on the sidewalk one time. Transvestites bring their tricks around the area (you don't want to glance into cars when leaving the building) and when we were unpacking our truck to move in a pimp and his "girl" got into an arguement...against our truck.. The front door didn't really lock so people would just come in. Unsecure "secured" parking. And you had to FIGHT to get your deposit back. I give this place a huge NO.”
