“I rented an VRBO the condo was not clean upon arrival, also the condo had roaches! I would not recommend anyone to rent f condo 1524 on the 15th floor. The parking garage was very small the valet parker was not very friendly.”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“I've been living in this building for 6 years. In the last 2 years the Airbnb took possession of a great majority of the units and the decadency of all aspects for the residents daily living is notorious. The noise (parties and lots of visitors) anytime of the day is atrocious. Busy elevators at rush hour (20 minutes waiting time approx). The building staff is not nice anymore, unhappy faces, unhelpful, and get mad when you ask for help or give a complain. The cleanness is also in a low point even though the staff do their best but they cannot keep up with the amount of people in and out everyday. Safety is also lower as lots of visitors are wandering around. Parking speed limits are a joke as speed racers do whatever without control.”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“Parking is horrible. Make sure you know which parking spot is assigned before moving forward. Pool is also mediocre. On the plus side, nice views (depending on unit, of course), safe and clean building, nice apt. layouts, reasonably priced for the area. The parking sucks.”
“There aren't any recent reviews and my boyfriend and I are very interested in purchasing a condo. We've viewed the building, several units, and the amenities/pool/gym area. Everything looks nice, and I'd have to say the location and views are unbeatable for the money. Just worried about some of the older reviews on here, can anyone update me on the AC, cable/internet functionality? Or offer any advice? I'd really appreciate it!!”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“Beautiful setting, right next to everything you might want and need in a vacation. Walking distance to every beautiful restaurant in Brickell. Very clean building, elevators spotless and the rental office very helpful and courteous. We love it, will be willing to rent any time. Highly recommended to anyone!”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“Ive lived here for a little over a year and in that time, the buildings AC has gone down for several days, even weeks at a time, in the summer, to the point where my units AC broke down as well, twice, and i couldnt stay at my apt. Parking is a hassle, theyve changed the security FOBs twice because they were failing to function properly, the gym was closed for a couple of months for renovations, the fire alarms go off in the middle of the night for no reason, they regularly refuse my mail packages which incurs in delays and additional shipping costs, management is RUDE and unapologetic. They even gave my spare keys that they keep to a realtor who claimed the apartment was for sale and people walked into my apartment while i was in my pijamas! DO NOT recommend!”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“After having read most of the reviews here, I lived there 4 months...while there we had some difficulties but as the time passed things got much better. I know it will keep getting better...the people managing the building have done a great job.”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“I never write reviews but I have ample time to write one while im sitting at a neighbors house while they fumigate mine. I have atleast 8 bedbugs on one bicep alone and countless others on my ankle, back and legs. I felt something biting me in my sleep and checked the sheets. I have no hair on my head and noticed long hair on the comforter so i removed it. The rooms do not look like the pictures, and there is no maid, i repeat there is no maid. you also have to remove all your trash or there will be a charge, you have to wash your own dishes, no diswasher, no iron, no extra towels, no soap. The rooms werent clean in the first place and the bedbugs alone are enough to warrant a full refund. I have had to clean my sheets at my house every day. I have shower with a special shampoo every day for seven days and still have the bugs in my suitcase and clothing. Alfredo is not the greatest, he still never brought my iron. The parking is high. I can say it was a great view but it was 40 stories high, even the fearless will tend to stay away from balcony. Oh and dont even think about asking the lady at the front desk for anything, she wont get off the phone long enuff to assit anyone and if she has to get off the personal call, she will give you a total attitude.”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“I rented a 2 bedroom apartment, and the time i arrived the keys where already waiting for me in a envelope on the front desk. Not only that, Alfredo, the director, very kindly went to the looby to received us and take us to our apartment. It was creat!.. the view, decoration, the kitchen. Is was very spacious, and everything was perfectly clean!. i really had a great time here with my husband and two kids. The condo is in a great location. if you plan to go to miami and spend a good time with your family, close to everywhere, i recomend the club at brickell bay. I felt like in my own home and most of all, the director treat you right being helpfull all the time.”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“TERRIBLE. Staff and condo association are rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. Trash piles up, halls smell, holes in walls, parking garage is designed by an imbecile. They will find any and every way to charge you money to offset their debts to FPL and Dish network. Last meeting I heard the debt was still over $500,000 combined. They will refuse entry and make you pay $75 for a tiny plastic access card that can get lost easily. Their gym is the worst i've seen in the area. The treadmills are broken and the machines haven't been maintained for at least two years. One of the pools hasn't had water in it for months and all they have restricting entry is a yellow piece of tape (ie. serious safety issue; especially for people with young children). I could go on, but I feel I've made my point. If you still feel like living here, good luck. You'll be warning others to stay away within months of being here. This place is the epitome of the situation of our current housing situation...HORRENDOUS”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“I do not live here, but had booked a room through hotels.com for New Year's Eve. Apparently, although it is an apartment building, they rent rooms like a hotel. My husband and I arrived and the lobby seemed nice enough. When we actually went up to our room (it was a studio) the first thing we noticed was a white sitting chair with what looked like vomit stains all over it! The bedspread had several hairs (what looked like pubic hairs) on it, and the balcony was dirty and did not even have a chair to sit on. We immediately went back down stairs to Alfredo's office and politely explained the situation. He viewed the room for himself and offered to put a blanket on the stained chair or to have it removed from the room. We told him that that was unacceptable and he tried to show us another room which was equally unsanitary. The Club at Brickell Bay has since refused to refund our money (about $200) claiming that we "checked out early". I have no idea what it is like to "live" there, but will personally never step foot in that apartment building again! If thinking of just staying a night or two, I recommend the JW Marriott right down the street...it is beautiful and clean, not GROSS!!!”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“The current Association of this building is absolutely pathetic. The Club is not exactly the most popular place to live yet the Association creates every obstacle possible for legitimate buyers. They require appointments before purchasing yet they NEVER return phone calls, make appointments & then cancel at the last minute, make empty promises, and the lady who gives the interviews is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and acts like she is on some huge power trip. I have never met a group of people that are so unreliable and irresponsible. I have heard so many complaints about the current Association and its behavior. If the owners of this building don't vote to replace them soon, no one is going to want to live here. They are doing more harm to the building's reputation than good.”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“This a beautiful place, I have very few compliants!!!!”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“This is the worst experience I've ever had living anywhere. I have been living in this building for over two years, and during that time the problems have gotten progressively worse. From security problems, foreclosures, and amenity problems to dirty conditions, theft, and homeless break-in this is no place to live. Management, yes even the new one, does not know ow to fix the problem. I thought this would be a nice place to live, and I've always heard great things about Brickell but I am finally moving out.”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“This building has had its fare share of ups and downs. Management is now in the hands of the owners, and it is slowly getting back to where it should be, if you think about the location and expectations. The board of directors is coming down hard on delinquencies. There is a lot of foreclosures. Rental profiling is not as easy as it used to be; the association has gotten quite strict on renters and rules. It is a good place to be!”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“Has anyone heard the news about this place? I thought it was gorgeous and possibly somewhere to relocate to but then I read this god awful news about this place...just google "the club at brickell bay" predatory and there are several articles on this. a large majority of these condos are or have been in foreclosure. do your research! its scary!!”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“nice building, perfect location, i walk to work so using the valet is not really an issue for me, but it is very expensive when i have guests over. condo is beautiful, i can see the Jade (real expensive building) and the ocean. being from jacksonville, it is shocking to see how inconsiderate people are. i cannot blame the management they do everything possible to clean up after them. i have seen people leaving trash in front of the trash chute because they are too lazy to throw it down. i have seen the maids in the morning throwing it out. i have seen how people scrape the walls when moving in and out but also see how management is constantly painting the walls. i think its a miami thing.”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“This building is already falling apart and the management could not care. The parking rates are the highest in the area. With so many options in Brickell for the same (or less), you would be crazy to choose this building. Also, last weekend, there were several police officers in the building and there was a creepy guy hanging around the corner from my place. The outlets for cable, high speed, and electricity are already going bad.”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“I was impressed the first time I saw the property. Nice for Miami. Minus the gaudy green walls and carpet, it was okay. The management office is nice and friendly, but don't answer the phone much, so you have to go by if you have any real needs. The gym and pool area is one of the largest I've seen in the city. There are 6 elevators, and you never have to wait for one, which is great. Security is good, and valet parking availble. Down sides are PARKING, PARKING, PARKING! I got sick the first time I drove to my 'assigned' spot. It is 11 stories up, but since it's 2 floors per level, it's really like driving 22 stories. It takes 5 minutes to get out of the parking garage which is a real hassle, and not good if you get dizzy easily. My view is of another office buliding which is not the best, but all in all, it's a good deal for Brickell. There are alot of new buildings going up in the area, so I would check them out 1st.”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“What isn't third-rate is fourth-rate.

Despite being less than two years old, halls are absolutely filthy and chipped, elevator car handrails are missing, and the recycling system is defunct.

Service is pleasant but inadequate. (There are no bellmen assigned to help with groceries, etc., and calls for your car must go through the front desk because the valets don't have a direct line.)

The finish is absolute crap...Apartment doors look like they cost $45 at The Door Store and there aren't even doorbells, just handknockers.

Airconditioning is uneven (and LOUD!) throughout a larger apartment.

Public spaces are entirely inadequate: just look at the crappy lobby. If they didn't spend money there, do you think they spent it elsewhere?

The tenant base is almost entirely rentals...You'd have to be a jackass to own.”
— 1200 Brickell Bay Dr · Miami“This apartment building is awesome with friendly neighbors and a closeknit community. All services in house including masage, gym, 3 rec rooms, two pools, and a jacuzzi. This place is in a great location and will only get better as the several entertainment areas pop up including Mary Brickell Village and the Met Movie Theaters all within walking distance.”
