Lived here from June 2010 til June 2011. Cant comment on the noise prior to its change to condo owned, but from my perspective the building is quiet. Lived in a timber loft previously and they can be a little noisy but it comes with the territory. This one was much quieter than the last. Chris, who managed the building, is awesome. Quick and attentive, can fix anything. Great tenants, amazing rooftop. Everyone seemed to like living there. moved to live with girlfriend in LP.

I moved in this year and this building has gotten better and better. They just put a brand new gym in and now have in building dry cleaning. The timber ceilings and columns rock. I had a problem with no one being here during the day, but they just hired a full time maintenance person.

I moved in a couple months ago and love it. The good - The floor plan with exposed brick and timber loft ceilings won me over when making my decision on where to live. Since I've been here, I've found the neighbors and neighborhood very pleasant. A lot of bars/restaurants are in walking distance. I'm even able to get downtown within a 15 minute walk. The not so good - While I love having the brown line stop only 2 blocks away, the train can be heard from my apartment (give and take). I can also hear my neighbors more than I'd like to. Overall, I'm very pleased with the place and location.

I just moved into this building and it has been wonderful. The building is mostly young single professionals, although there are more and more couples moving in. It is very social and has a wonderful roof-top deck with 180 degree city views. The gym is also great and has everything I need. Parking is not always easy in the neighborhood, but that is what you get when you have a prime location.

I am one of the last renters left in the building and the changes during the last year have been incredible. I relied a lot on this website when I began looking at apartments 10 months ago and I am now in the process of using this site again to look for a new apartment (my unit was recently sold). The new roof top deck offers a great place to enjoy a drink while taking in some of the most incredible skyline views you will ever see. The laundry lounge, bike storage and workout room (small but convienient) have also been wonderful additions to the building. The location is incredible for those who work downtown. I often walk to work, but it is also nice to have the CTA Brown Line stop close by. If you have the opportunity to rent from one of the new owners, I highly recommend this building.

and the former management company is no longer in charge. The facilites and untis have been updated and the former problems no longer exist. It is a great location and is one of the best deals in the city.

Hello I've been reading these reviews, and most of all of them are from before the bldg was converted to condos. I'm wondering if these same problems still exist (e.g. is the management still bad? interior noise still loud? Are the current tenants/owners of the units a different group of people?). Also, is there anyone who's actually satisfied and living in this building? Post, or email directly at [email protected]. Thank you, I'd appreciate it greatly

I currently live there and I'm moving out this month (thank GOD!). I lived there for about 2 years and things just get worse and worse

Here is just a sample of what you will deal with if you move in.
* You can hear every conversation and everything else through the walls.
* Management is absentee .. if you every have a question or issue don't expect an answer.
* Most of your mail you will find outside of your mailbox.
* Construction guys working, smoking, slamming doors starting about 7am. (Yes your apartment will smell like smoke if your neighbors smoke)
* No security
* Half the dryers have been broken for 6 months
* Workout room is a dinger room with an old step master and treadmill. The room is dirty and disgusting
* Elevator very very very slow and breaks down very often
