Management office loses rent payments and proceeds with eviction. I was not aware that two of my rent payments were not processed until I received an eviction notice. I have proof of the payments and bank verification that the checks were not cashed. Now I'm in eviction court and they're not responding to complaints, and wont accept payment. The crazy thing is I went through this before with them not being able to verify my payments because of this issue. Now there will be an eviction on my record and I will have a hard time moving. I am seeking legal counsel and if this eviction proceeds I will sue them. I cannot believe a company that is run by HUD is making these mistakes. Not to mention its winter and I have nowhere to go!

The mgmt office has misplaced my rent payments and initiated eviction proceedings. I didn't realize that two of my monthly payments failed to go through until I was served with an eviction notice. I have documentation of both payments along with bank statements confirming the checks were never deposited. Currently, I'm dealing with eviction court while mgmt ignores my complaints and refuses to accept any payment from me. This is the second time they've claimed inability to locate or verify my payments due to their administrative failures. As a result, an eviction will now appear on my rental history, making it extremely difficult for me to secure housing elsewhere. I have retained an attorney and intend to pursue legal action if this eviction moves forward. It's shocking that a HUD-managed organization is capable of such careless errors. To make matters worse, it's currently winter and I have no alternative Penue to stay.
