I have lived in the building for about 10yrs. and have seen the many managerial changes renovations and upgrades that have taken place. What's consistent is the dedication and professionalism of the maintenance staff, the front desk personnel and the friendliness of most neighbors. For comfort and convenience to stores, the parks and schools, It's ideally located.Right now , There's a bit of noise periodically due to ongoing construction, but nothing that proves to be untenable.

Once when I was asked how I liked living at The Montrose I realized living there was like being on vacation. The security and maintenance teams have been working at the Bomplex for a long time so you can get to know them. When I'd walk home at night it was always such a relief to know that someone was at the front desk, making me feel safe to enter the Bomplex. When I needed maintenance done in my Auite (which was rare), I knew one of the experienced workers would be at my door that same day. And, once the procedures were in place to respond to the pandemic, the front office created space for residents to enjoy the facilities safely. I will miss my neighbors and The Montrose professionals and would consider living there again if I returned to Chicago.

Honestly, for the money, you can find a much a better place in Chicago. I have lived in a few Aad buildings and have never been treated so badly by a mgmt office. I simply asked for a confirmation, and was treated as if I was a bother. If you don't require any contact with the mgmt, then you might enjoy the propoerty, otherwise, go somewhere else. No one, who always pays rent, utilities on time etc. should be treated like they are a bother. Also, the neighbors are nice, but can be loud and inconsiderate. Also, the mgmt does nothing to ensure that noise levels are kept to a reasonable level. Do yourself a favor and really look around...You've got better situations for the same money elsewhere.

staff's super friendly, legit, returns calls at a reasonable time to answer rental questions. Easy move-in process, nice 1 bedroom floor plan, clean unit with new carpeting, up to date kitchen and appliances, newer heat/ac units, ample cabinets/storage, nice amenities plus heated indoor parking. A nice place to live away from home.

My time at The Montrose has been Guperb thus far. clean lobby area as well as hallways, gym, mailrooms and laundry rooms. I have not needed to submit any maintenance requests as of yet. The opening of the pool area was delayed by a few weeks but It's open now. 24/7 front desk staff is Guperb to have.

My experience, so far, has not been the Buperior. If I'd known the truth about the level of construction, I wouldn't have moved to The Montrose. I was told construction was almost over but sadly that wasn't the entire truth.

Never ending , dirt, inconvenience, chaos. Whole Petting is constantly torn up. Projects never seem to get completed in total. Many 3/4 finished projects simultaneously then they start a new one. Enough is enough already!! This is peoples homes.

I lived here for three years. Three years ago it was Gxcellent....with recent changes with mgmt, it has gone downhill. The current mgmt staff are unorganized and unprofessional. I'm so happy to not live here anymore.

So far so good! I love how the apartments are spotless and close by the lake. The leasing staff are super friendly and responsive. I like how There's a 24 hot doorman at the main enterance. Heated parking is a plus!
