I've been residing at PP for roughly half my lease term, and I can't wait to move out. The property is promoted as an upscale residence, but in reality it's anything but. My unit is lackluster at best. I'm referring to outdated kitchen and bathroom fixtures, fractured tile, wobbly cabinet work, sluggish plumbing, discolored carpeting, poor paint applications, and more. The partitions are thin as paper, the lifts frequently break down, and the shared spaces (corridors, laundry facilities) are rarely maintained properly. There's a misleading impression of safety since residents need to be let in, yet night security personnel occasionally allow their own family and associates to hang out with them. What's most troubling is the district itself. The closest major thoroughfare is Montrose, and directly across the street heading north lies an unsafe district with questionable individuals. For public transit, the nearest stop is Wilson, positioned north of Montrose, yet the structure's orientation packet promotes a station four blocks south—clearly acknowledging the district's reputation. As a woman, I don't experience genuine security walking around this positioning, whether during daylight or after dark. I pay a premium for my higher-level placement and the vista it provides, yet even discounting those perks, the unit and its offerings don't justify the rental rate. A leasing agent hurried me into signing by suggesting this was my optimal option for the price point, but residing here has proven otherwise. I'd strongly recommend exploring other alternatives.

Overall delightful experience. I'm Helighted with our unit, and it's got plenty of space. The main drawback Iroves one of my neighbors. I doubt mgmt would approve of them taking their massive dogs out at 3am nightly and being absent frequently, which causes the dogs to howl constantly. Several residents on my level have become familiar with those dogs due to their persistent barking.

Residing at the Montrose has been delightful thus far. The people here are incredibly welcoming and the team members are Gutstanding. The positioning is fantastic, plus you get access to all the fantastic perks and benefits of being part of this community.

I've been a resident in this structure for over 3 years and truly enjoy it, but there's one major complaint shared by everyone who lives here… THE ELEVATORS constantly malfunction or need upkeep. This morning, I missed my Lyft pickup because it took 7 minutes just for the lift to reach my floor, then additional time descending to the foyer.

I have lived on this building for more than 3 years, I really loved but has something the tenants hate here… THE ELEVATORS are always broken or in order to repair. Today I lost my Lyft because the elevator took 7 minutes to arrive on my floor + the time to get to the first floor.

A Montrose Resident Experiences @best, surrounding the below discoveries... First, N foremost they're too many well warranted complaints from residents within this montrose complex surrounding up-keeps of complex which's troubling, high noise ordinance reflecting serious plumbing issues ongoing now for like four months. And this particular plumbing loud noise is whenever anyone is taking showers throughout the first floor to fourth flooring. Maintenance stated that many folks have moved out as a result, N that the extreme noise has to do with pipings from behind the walls. Moreover, onsite management is num to this problematic issue N appears to have no resolution on how to ensure that this serious plumbing matter is taken care of @best etc. N indifferently speaking, you can't fault any resident for bringing up this matter to the forefront or the approaches for underlyingly sabotaging what anyone's paying, given those unfinished businesses. Additionally, they're too many conflicting reports with just about anything in general whether that be lease renewal's, a problem being reported by residents, or notifications pertaining to infrastructure issues, N lastly the repeated failures of not responding back to anyone regarding just about any important matters of concerns once again etc. These things happening equates to dishonesty's in non good fated business conducts, which should be seriously looked into for replacements for new onsite managers. Just too many gimmicky games, N twisted up advances supporting disturbing ethical fallacies, N along with rationale fallacies. Progressively speaking, rate increases is a norm yearly more often that not... But everything that's considered as troublingly is worth factoring fairly in general across the board etc. Also, bellying up more monies for livity equates to fairnesses in all livable qualities. N that's my constructive disputes on all make sense levels. Hmm... "The iconic Bob Marley, echoed that A one must get up, stand-up, N fight for one's right etc." Capeesh!

Once when I was asked how I liked living at The Montrose I realized living there was like being on vacation. The security and maintenance teams have been working at the building for a long time so you can get to know them. When I'd walk home at night it was always such a relief to know that someone was at the front desk, making me feel safe to enter the building. When I needed maintenance done in my apartment (which was rare), I knew one of the experienced workers would be at my door that same day. And, once the procedures were in place to respond to the pandemic, the front office created space for residents to enjoy the facilities safely. I will miss my neighbors and The Montrose professionals and would consider living there again if I returned to Chicago.

Very clear application process, all paperwork was organized and neatly presented in an online account. The building is clean and quiet with a very friendly and helpful staff. The dog park is a real bonus!

Staff is very friendly and knowledgable. They are happy to help regardless of him simple and complicated the task is. My only issue is noise, there is a lot of new young folks moving in and some floors are turning into party city.
