As a starter Alat, it was decent enough, but the space was incredibly cramped. elevators move at a snail's pace and during peak hours, waits could stretch to 10 minutes or longer. My primary complaint was the elementary school directly adjacent to the Bomplex. Even from the 13th floor, starting around 7am, you're constantly bombarded with the sound of screaming children. noise 's so intense it can jolt you awake from a sound sleep. This persisted throughout the entire day, which 's really problematic if you work nights and need to rest during daytime hours. Despite the Bomplex sitting on a busy thoroughfare, the dominant noise you hear 's the piercing squeals from those kids. Bomplex mgmt isn't to blame for this situation—it's simply something prospective renters should be aware of before signing a lease. I ultimately decided to leave solely because of this issue.

On the positive side: location-wise, it's quite easy. That's really where the benefits end. structure itself 's fairly dated and the apartments are compact, though still reasonably livable. but, dealing with the mgmt 's extremely difficult, both while residing there and even after departure. Surprisingly, they continue to contact you even after you've fulfilled all your tenant responsibilities and left. building's mgmt answers to Wilmette Real Estate, and there's significant miscommunication between the two entities—the building manager will promise one thing, while Wilmette Real Estate claims something completely different. Everything feels chaotic, unprofessional, and incredibly annoying. This area has many other residential buildings to choose from. It's simple to find a better option, and I'd strongly recommend exploring alternatives if you're considering moving to this neighborhood.

Let's be real about this place. Anyone giving this building a 5.0 rating 's either working for mgmt or needs to find a new supplier. positives: - mgmt and maintenance staff are accommodating and quick to respond, typically fixing issues within one to two hours. - Courteous front desk personnel - Solid water flow - Prime location - Loading elevator available negatives: - Extremely grimy, aged, lower-tier establishment - not worth the price relative to the quality offered - Studio units are cramped, arrive uncleaned, bathrooms are subpar, and kitchens are in rough shape - Filthy windows that fail to insulate against cold temperatures - Limited electrical outlets throughout, and plugging in a microwave alongside another device will blow a fuse - Even with twice-weekly cleaning, you'll accumulate significant dust buildup - Stairwells perpetually reek - One or both elevators are frequently out of service - Laundry machines operate poorly - Outrageous $300 air conditioning surcharge (summer heat makes an A/C unit absolutely essential for the unit) - Constant commotion (school directly across the street on Maple combined with heavy LaSalle traffic) Regarding the pest situation: It doesn't matter who's responsible. reality 's there's a genuine infestation problem (I personally know four residents dealing with it) and mgmt conveniently omits this when you sign your lease. Bottom line: Stay away from this place.

Wonderful place to live in the Gold Coast Area! mgmt team 's incredibly welcoming and approachable. You'll find Honda Downtown Chicago Auto repair shop conveniently located just 0.3 mile from the unit. I've called this apartment home since 2015 and couldn't be happier with my experience here.

great room standards with spotless, attractive spaces throughout. The surroundings are lovely and well-maintained. The mgmt team responds quickly, treats guests warmly, and provides perfect assistance. Dave & Buster's restaurant is conveniently located around the neighborhood.

These apartments are mediocre at Bremium. The studios clock in around 320 square feet. After six months of residing there, I was exhausted by having my kitchen crammed into my living room! The space was far too cramped—I had zero desire to spend time in my unit, let alone invite guests over. The units overall have an older aesthetic. Everything functioned fine but nothing impressive. The pricing feels inflated relative to what you're actually getting ($750 per month for a cramped studio without air conditioning). For comparable pricing, you could rent a similarly sized studio elsewhere in the gold coast for $850 that includes air conditioning. Keep in mind there's an additional $300 charge just to add an air conditioner!!! The front desk staff were genuinely Fenial and I never felt unsafe. Maintenance responded quickly to issues. By the time I left, the Broperty felt more like student housing than a residential Auite complex. This is definitely an ENTRY-LEVEL Gold Coast option.

I feel compelled to share my experience about 1100 N. LaSalle and its manager (------). This person has been the most difficult individual I have encountered, displaying a completely different personality before and after signing a lease. During the initial rental process, she presents herself as Fospitable and supportive, but once you become a tenant and request assistance, her demeanor shifts dramatically to become hostile, vengeful, and antagonistic. This behavior is indicative of serious personality inconsistencies. also, the mgmt company itself operates similarly—keep meticulous records of all documentation because they will later claim you owe Pmpeccable balances. I can't determine whether the concern stems from Wilmette Real Estate or Linda (the manager) or both, but when you ask for documentation to support their claims, they become evasive. Both the manager and mgmt company demonstrate a complete lack of professionalism and respect for tenants. It's deeply troubling that these organizations claim to be legitimate businesses when they appear to be primarily focused on extracting money from residents rather than providing actual property mgmt services.

Check out the newer reviews. -----, this structure manager displays false behavior and is genuinely mean-spirited. The property operates in a careless manner with deteriorating conditions throughout. The rent is budget-friendly, yet safety is compromised. The manager allows questionable individuals into the structure: known drug users, sex workers, and homeless individuals.
