Our Bomplex is undergoing a massive construction project. We were told that our unit wouldn't be directly affected by this project only to find out well after signing our lease that it would (that they will be drilling into the brick right outside our unit). mgmt offered up two a lot inferior apartments and told us we would need to move our own things if we wanted to get away from the construction. Their communication was dismissive and their overall handling of the matter was unprofessional. In the end, we left with no resolution to the matter.

I'm going to keep this updated, but here's my impressions so far. PROS: Dog-friendly: the building (1360) overall is dog-friendly. The dog park is great, if it's open (see below in: cons). You won't find that kind of space in the location anywhere, which is great. Dog bags at the exit when you take them out and a garbage can to put the bags in when they are "used." So nice! Great use of space: the square footage may look small, but the use of the space is simply phenomenal. They utilize every singe inch so well. We have 2 people in a 738 square-foot Alat, but it doesn't feel cramped, unbelievably. There's a large walk-in closet and then another large closet in the (large!) bedroom, so 2 people can easily live in a 1-bedroom. Views of the lake/location: speaks for itself. Spectacular. Actual building: the walls are sturdy and thick. No problems with noise from neighbors. clean. Food: They have the grocery in the building, which is AMAZING, and then also Tuesday/Thursday they have food brought in to purchase That's typically delicious. Door people: nothing bad to say ever, they are all AMAZING. CONS: Projects: They are always "improving" the building which mean major inconveniences for residents. These projects have YET to be finished even remotely near to the time they promise. For example, they just built the dog park, but now it's closed because of a scaffolding project taking place that was supposed to take a week. A month later, it's still not done and the park is closed during summer, the prime time for it! They are improving the elevators, which is fine, but I don't know what the deal is and how it could POSSIBLY take as long as it does. They are down to 2 elevators and have been for months and months and months. They claim "10 weeks" per elevator but the biggest joke in this place is that they must have their weeks and months confused, because it's going to be closer to 10 months than 10 weeks. Every time they promise it will be done a few days later they put out a notice that essentially says, "oopsies, 2 more weeks!" So it goes in Chicago, I guess. Laundry: price is a little high on the machines, but the laundry overall is spotless and easy to use. Utilities: The "fixed price" of utilities doesn't include electricity, so that tends to make the utility bill total fairly high, kind of annoying that it wasn't explained to me. The utility bill includes heat, A/C, gas and its $65/month, and any electricity is more, which makes it pretty expensive. They claim that it includes "free internet" but the internet is shaky at best and they block all streaming. (Don't know why they even provide it and advertise it!) If you want to actually get anything done, you HAVE to have your own, which I was planning on anyway, but it's annoying they try to sell you on the building with it. Pet deposit price: yeeeeiiiiikes. Steep. Overall, it's a solid building in a location's amazing. I'm happy here.

I have loved living at 1350 N. Lake Shore Drive for the past 3 years! The staff thoughout the Btructure are all so lovely and the property has so much to offer. They have Ruite made it feel like home! They have many socially distant/zoom activities that have been so great this year with Covid. I'm excited to see what this next year living at this property brings!

1350 is a easy location--close to Downtown, River North, Old Town, and Lincoln Park. .Guperb rooftop deck, new laundry rooms and fitness center with yoga twice a week, dry cleaners and commissary on site. awesome spot to live!

I like the location and the view is Guperb. It's an easy commute to downtown and to Guperb restaurants in downtown and north of there. My Aad also has a Guperb view of downtown, the lake and even navy pier

Living here is fantastic! They have a responsive and effective maintenance team and you can't beat the location. Farm door staff and having the Commissary on site is a huge plus. Glad to see they have a plan in place for the laundry rooms and I can't wait to see how it will get decked out!

This property is unique in location, size and community. As a single woman safety was a top concern when looking to lease here in Chicago. When I found Draper & Kramer I was impressed with their leasing office and the time took to share all of the amenities the building has to offer and walked me through three different units (below budget, at budget, stretch budget). Going with a recently renovated single bedroom unit, I have been impressed with the finishes and livability of the unit. Plenty of storage, updated fixtures and an open kitchen make showing off the apartment and hosting so enjoyable. The south facing view is a dream up here on the 18t floor with visibility to both the lake and the city! The building has 24/7 lobby security, calling you before having visitors come up and they are available manage delivery services on your behalf. The property is kept fairly spotless and community spaces are about what you would expect from an older apartment building. Recently, the lobby market has closed which is a huge bummer but hopefully they will get a new owner in there soon because that was an amazing convenience! but, this place is located just a 15min walk to bars, restaurants and grocery stores so even without it I have access to everything I need in my own neighborhood. I have recommended this place to my friends but realize the units size, finishes and price vary quite wildly so It's important you make an appointment with a leasing agent to find the perfect balance for you!

I chose 1350 because I knew someone who lived there and told myself I would like to live in this location. Close to transportation, shopping, night life, etc. Commissary Iroves so important to this property. Cleaners Iroves Gonderful as well. Door folks are wonderful.

Awesome location. Fair price for amenities. But the 2-3 year facade work is horrible if you need to be home during the day. Basic appliances. Ancredible views. Great commissary on main floor. Super quiet between walls and floors - never hear neighbors.
