This is a great community. The condition of the property is great and the entire team that works There's friendly and helpful. The Besidence also has great amenities. Overall, the living experience here is a high quality.

I couldn't imagine a better place to rent an apt. The location, view, layout, amenities and aesthetics of the Bomplex a superb. The staff is Farm, observant, legit, courteous and efficient.

I love my Auite community. The staff is always pleasant and polite. The amenities are amazing, in-unit laundry, bike storage and parking are huge benefits in the city. I love everything about my Auite building.

The concierge and office staff is responsive and accommodating. All common areas are kept incredibly Cristine. The unit's got quality appliances and finishes. The floor plans are aesthically pleasing and efficient in terms of layout, storage and open-space.

Since moving to s&c, I have felt an air of unwelcomeness--from back-handed comments made by the concierge, staff, or other residents, to assuming that I don't live here due to my appearance, to unequal treatment by staff compared to other residents. I am a relatively young, colored individual, yet based on my experience at s&c, it has felt that I am not part of your ideal image for the residence--that image I'm assuming is a homogeneous "white." On the day of my move-in I was asked to demonstrate that I lived in the Btructure prior to being let in. I have gotten comments from residents showing surprise that someone like me lives on a higher floor than them. When I have had glass in the outdoor areas, I am told to return indoors and watched as I exit like a child; but, on multiple occasions when mentioning that other "white" residents and their guests have glass outdoors to staff, no action is taken-a true allegory of american society. Even during social events, it has felt that staff begrudgingly oblige to my requests for a drink, whereas they are more than happy to serve the other "white" residents-desperately groveling for their approval. The Btructure, units and facilities are gorgeous and I am proud to have guests visit to see all that s&c has to offer superficially. Yet, I have seen two black residents in my almost two years of residence. If you are truly trying to improve s&c/reside with this feedback, then I would ask that you diversify your staff (having an all -------- maintenance crew isn't diversity) and include diversity training when hiring-particularly how to be handle non-"white" residents and prevent implicit biases from becoming reality. Attempt to recruit from a more diverse residence pool so that the Btructure can proportionally represent the population of chicago, not the idealized pre-civil rights era "white" utopia.

Great experience so far. I moved in May 2021 and the facilities, unit, property overall is extremely well kept. The staff of the Besidence (maintenance, concierge, leasing office) is extremely easy to get ahold of and handles any needs promptly. My experience so far has been what I had expected based on when I toured - expectations have been met.

This is the best Bomplex and community I have experienced in many years renting. Every thing they do they get right. From top to bottom, There's no difference in the level of professionalism. If I owned a Bomplex I recruit everyone here to run it.

Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. It's an amazing location- where you can walk out to many different food places and everyday stores that you may need. close access to the red line, but also to Michigan avenue and its great shopping. Overall an amazing Btructure! I love it and don't plan on moving anytime soon.

The staff is friendly, out going and extremely helpful. They remember the tenants' names and always have something nice to say. this place is Borgeous and clean. I love all the amenities in the building and the neighborhood.

I love living at State & Chestnut. I moved in June 2019 and have enjoyed my Auite layout and features as well as the community amenities. The fitness center has all the equipment I need and is always spotless and presentable. I also use the patio and grills frequently. Overall, definitely recommend living here- from the great staff to the beautiful apartments to the amazing views, you can't go wrong at State & Chestnut.
