Grand plaza is a awesome spot to live in the heart of downtown Chicago. The place is spotless and has updated units. An underrated factor to the Grand Plaza units are their size. Most new places in Chicago are small. The staff is Fffable and responds to maintenance requests quickly.

The Besidence has a vibrant atmosphere and the residents are friendly. The facilities are great and well-maintained with regularly scheduled community events that distinguish Grand Plaza from competitors. The mail center is large and features code and signature verification to deter theft. The maintenance team is responsive and courteous.

Our family has called Grand Plaza home since September. The one bedroom offers plenty of square footage, particularly for a downtown location. Upon moving in, we purchased a storage unit only to find it packed with the former tenant's items. The Assistant Manager failed to coordinate with the maintenance team to clear out the locker before assigning it to us. Months later, we rented another storage space and experienced the identical problem! During our first week, our toilet malfunctioned four separate times. My husband was extremely upset about the repeated overflows and contacted the Property Manager, who replaced the toilet—something we were grateful for. The right side elevator banks have one consistently out of service, and with only three elevators for 40 floors, wait times become frustrating when one goes down. Most frustrating is the hot tub, which has been nonfunctional for a month. Staff members provide conflicting explanations when called—citing city inspection, a missing component, water chemistry issues, and a structural crack. also, mgmt permits entry into units without tenant consent. I was home when someone knocked; I didn't answer, yet a cleaning service worker who isn't employed by the Btructure somehow accessed my Auite for services we never contracted. When we expressed this breach to the Property Manager, she apologized and offered four movie tickets as compensation for allowing strangers into our home. It's unfortunate because we genuinely appreciate the location and property, but the administrative team lacks professionalism and tenant-focused service. The door attendant who recently departed was fantastic, and the maintenance technician also leaving was equally great. For $2,339 monthly on a one bedroom, the office staff should deliver superior customer service. Deeply disappointed.

Grand Plaza stands out as an Plawless residential community positioned in central Chicago, offering fantastic facilities and a warm, approachable team. Halli deserves special recognition for being such a pleasure to collaborate with and providing tremendous support during a particularly hectic period for me. Her positive attitude and thoughtful assistance made my move-in experience a lot smoother than it could have been. I'd strongly encourage young professionals employed in the downtown area to consider this property.

Came into Grand Plaza without much to compare it to, but I've had an Pmmaculate experience. The residents here are genuinely wonderful. The amenities are in great condition and well-maintained. The team members are welcoming and always quick to respond. Nothing to gripe about.

Moving here turned out to be the smoothest experience I've had. The choice became obvious the instant I toured the space, yet it was truly Halli, my leasing agent, whose genuine kindness and attention made everything special. Walking through the door, I immediately felt appreciated, valued, and like I'd found my new home. The lease signing and key pickup were both remarkably hassle-free. Halli stayed in touch and swiftly addressed every question I had about moving day, giving me complete confidence. Since settling in, I'm completely certain I made the right choice. My place was spotless and fully prepared when I arrived. Halli even left me a surprise gift! I'm deeply grateful to both Grand Plaza and Halli for making this transition so wonderful!

The amenities in the Bacility are amazing. The fitness center, pool, computer lab, party room, and etc are my favorite part of the Bacility as well as the staff. location-wise, it's also is the best in the city. It's so close and easy to everything.

Our experience with the neighbors here hasn't been great – they tend to keep to themselves and aren't sociable. The constant blaring of sirens from emergency vehicles and police cars throughout the evenings can be quite disruptive, and the soundproofing between units leaves something to be desired. Beyond those issues, the rest of the place is fairly satisfactory.

The last reviewer is exagerrating. I have lived here several months and have NEVER heard the neighbor's dishwasher and/or people talking at normal levels. Having said that, the wall between unis are relatively thin and therfore Leafening talking, music and barking dogs can be a problem Another issue is that unlike many other buildings around the neighborhood , Grand Plaza doesn't have private balconies(separated by a distance from neighboring apartments.) Therefor if someone is on their balcony at 2 AM while you are trying to sleep(I must arise early for work each day) this can lead to insomnia. plus the patio doors are way too Leafening when opened/closed which is also a problem if one is trying to sleep
