Our experience here was disgusting. Bomplex has multiple infestations of bed bugs and cockroaches. Bomplex staff are extremely rude. They are also dismissive and treat tenants as if they are children. Doorman and security staff think act as if they are acting the Louvre. If you plan to live here, be ready for infestations and to deal with terrible mgmt. Good luck!

This is now going to be my third year here at the Park Tower. The First 1.5 were going great. Then someone moved in on 16th floor. The mgmt office was great about letting the other residence on the same floor below and above about contruction projects. With the "acceptable" time frame for the project. Now....three months after the first notice, the renovation on the 16th floor continues and continues and continues. BTW....the sound proof between units is good until...someone installs hardwood floors. I wouldn't suggest it leasing or buying a unit if the unit above you has hardwood floors. There'sn't enough concrete to hold the noise level down. In addition, managment doesn't continue to monitor construction in units after the inital request. Smoking in this Bacility is labeled as a non-smoking Bacility. With universal heating and cooling, this isn't the case. Cooking smells on each floor becomes a daily expectation. If someone smokes in their units is easily smelled by the entire floor. Odors come in through front dooor vents and with the fan system for heating and cooling it the entire floor frequently shares the odors (Italian, Kurry, Korean) you name it...we got the smell. My first impression, I was thinking about becoming a permanent resident of the Park Tower Family. Now, I cant wait for this lease year to be over! I was originally sold by this Bacility...now I know there must be a better place with better mgmt.

This Bomplex is the worst! If you've lived in a Chicago high-rise before, you know they all have strict rules. I admit, I should have read our lease more closely before signing, but still would have had no idea just how awful this condo association really is. For those of you considering moving in and may or may not read the fine print, here are somethings that you can expect about this Bomplex: No weekend move in or out dates--EVER, NO EXCEPTIONS $30 lockout fee if you misplace your keys after business hours Additionaly to rent,You've got rediculously high fees for pool and excerise room use, and doorman(pool looks okay, excerise room is LAME with barely any equipment) Somewhat thin walls Lazy parking attendants Street parking is a 10-15 minute search Don't try and ask anything of the Condo Board unless you BUY a unit. They are EXTRMELY unflexible and RUDE TO RENTERS!! One, of two elevators that come down to the first floor lobby are ALWAYS broken. (I lived one a higher floor which has a seperate elevator than floors 1-23, so I can't comment on that side...) Dated lobby decor (if you care about aesthetics) Women- Beware of creepy Indian man that works in the grocery store downstairs. Multiple handicap code violations (never seen a person in a wheelchair, or needing visual/hearing assistance but they most likely don't reside here bc they aren't able to. No cats/dogs for renters. They probably wouldn't let you have a fish... Stinky garbage chutes If I keep going, I will probably just name issues that seem really picky. BasicallY, know what you are getting into... don't RENT HERE!

I'd rate it negative if possible. Btructure mgmt here 's absolutely terrible. One of their office staff members got terminated for circulating false information among residents, yet mgmt won't own up to their role in allowing the misinformation to spread. On top of that, they're stonewalling on refunding multiple months of fitness center charges even though the facility remained shut during the pandemic. Long-term residents like myself have been treated poorly and disrespected. I really can't emphasize enough just how unprofessional and disrespectful the mgmt team's conduct has been.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Atrocious building management. A management office employee was recently fired after spreading incorrect information to tenants. Management is attempting to take no responsibility for the resulting misinformation. They also refuse to refund several months of gym fees while the gym was closed due to covid. Garbage treatment of long-time tenants. I cannot stress enough how unprofessional and inconsiderate this building management has chosen to be.

This was my (2nd) time living in this building. The building is maintained. However, the office staff is incredibly rude. I had a problem with mold in the HVAC. The owner lived in another country and it was only so much he could do. We hired a reputable mold company to prove the unit had mold. The manager lied to the board and owner that my complaints were without merit. Once it was proved that mold exists..it became the owner's issue. I have never seen an office staff so rude to the owners and tenants. I should have complained to Draper & Kramer to report the manager. The garage is warm, grocery store is expensive and limited (walk to Mariano's), the lake is right in the back (runners trail), 24/7 doorman and security, cleaners in the building (expensive), noise is at a minimum, units are checked for bedbugs (they had a really bad problem in the past)...overall dwelling is clean and good.

The property is beautiful and in a great location of the Chicago. However, the property manager ------------ is extremely prejudice dare I even say racist. He treats his employees (----------------------------) with little respect and is has gone to lost a court case involving him wrongfully firing a ----- employee after the employee went to his union about ------------------------. He's known to solicite sex from male employees and residents.

I've only lived here a year but I am more than excited to move out of here. There has been non-stop construction on my floor this entire time making it hard to study or get work done. One day when i stayed home from work sick with a migraine I had to listen to pounding on my ceiling the entire day. There are maintenance requests that I put in a year ago when I moved in that have still not been dealt with. There are also cockroaches and bed bugs. After a lot of pressuring the building started taking the cockroach situation more seriously. I was disgusted that I could move into a new place and find cockroach traps all over the apartment, and then when I questioned the office about it they blamed me and said that I must have brought them in which is absolutely absurd. After a year of hell I am grateful to be moving out of here. I am not grateful to have to throw out all of my furniture because of the bug issue in this building.
