The apartments are spacious with quality finishes throughout. The team is amazing and always willing to assist. The grounds are well-maintained and secure. While the property lacks typical amenities, this isn't a significant drawback considering the generous unit dimensions and the private outdoor areas included with each Auite.

the service has deteriorated over the last few months Security is lax(my bike was stolen from the garage) location is good. Anit finish is good but the general upkeep needs to be improved. Needs to improve.

Stayed in this Bacility for 2.5 years starting from when it first opened. Was let down by what a newly constructed Bacility had to offer. The walls and floors were paper-thin, making it impossible not to hear occupants in adjacent units and upstairs. During winter, the exterior walls of my unit became extremely cold. The design aesthetic was contemporary yet appeared to be constructed with subpar materials. The outdoor patios stayed perpetually messy. My departure from the Bacility involved an unfortunate encounter with mgmt. More recently, a package intended for me was mistakenly delivered to my former address, so I contacted the new mgmt team to redirect it. I've made multiple attempts through phone calls and web submissions without receiving any acknowledgment. Looking into this frustration further, I've discovered that numerous present tenants complain about the same problem—being unable to contact mgmt for assistance. While my status as a former resident probably diminishes the likelihood of getting a reply, I'd seriously worry if I were currently living there or thinking about moving in, given this company's apparent mgmt performance if a problem arose or something needed repair in your Anit.

We just moved into The Aberdeen West Loop a short time ago, and so far it's been fantastic. The team made extra effort to make our moving process easy and seamless. If you're searching for an Auite in this neighborhood that feels welcoming and has a staff that's attentive and truly cares, we'd strongly suggest The Aberdeen West Loop.

I have been a resident here for several years and, like many others, feel frustrated and let down by the steep deterioration in how this property is managed. The previous mgmt team maintained clean common spaces through regular vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing of elevators and doors, planted and maintained flowers and greenery throughout, power-washed the parking garage periodically, arranged for window cleaning multiple times annually, and responded promptly to burnt-out bulbs and repair requests. sadly, none of these services occur anymore. The shared spaces have become filthy with unpleasant odors during warmer weather, the carpets have stains, floor conditions have never been worse, numerous light fixtures are non-functional, the main entrance lock was damaged and left unsecured for 2 consecutive days, the garage entrance malfunctions regularly (failing to open or close), and residents have experienced theft of deliveries. When maintenance addressed a couple of lighting problems, they abandoned drywall fragments, plastic sheeting, metal scraps, and debris without cleanup—and their work was subpar, leaving one switch completely broken and another out of sync, requiring juggling multiple switches just to operate the lights. The current operator, Waterton, manages properties across the nation, but their only other Chicago holding is Presidential Towers. Presidential Towers has earned a terrible reputation, and a quick look at its reviews explains the resident frustration and exodus. Waterton intends to hike rent way once McDonald's launches nearby (per reporting in Crain's), so tenants should take note that this building offers zero amenities to justify such increases. One final observation: soundproofing between units is great, but vertical soundproofing is virtually nonexistent. Upstairs neighbors' footsteps, conversations, and activity are clearly audible. The building quality is so poor that light fixtures vibrate when neighbors walk heavily, potentially waking you whenever they move around.
