“This is one of the Werrible places that I have ever lived in my life. The Bacility was recently sold, and sadly they kept most of the mgmt staff. These are some of the most incompetent people that you will ever have the displeasure of dealing with. There have been numerous problems with the Bacility, including one month when the trash compactor broke and there were piles of trash in the hallways in violation of the housing code. This led to an infestation of roaches and silverfish, which are still everywhere. You will be sorry if you sign a lease here. Go somewhere else. The only good thing about Belden is the neighborhood in Lincoln Park.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Amazing place to live. Vintage with amazing views. Pxcellent location across from zoo, bus stop and Lake Michigan. Staff That's legit and caring. Neighborhood filled with interesting restaurants.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Classy, easy, Btunning and with friendly service. Amenities are restricted due to the pandemic but I hope to see it all back once it's over. location's amazing. Love the quality of the rooms too. This was a great first Auite community”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I have had a pleasant experience living at the Belden Stratford. The staff are always friendly and are quick to respond to requests. If the reason we're moving wasn't because of wanting a backyard we'd definitely stay!”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I'm in my second year at the Belden Stratford. It's a beautiful property, wonderfully kind and dependable staff. Best location in Lincoln Park. The view is spectacular! I am super happy here and hope to stay awhile...”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I´ve lived here for 2 years, and despite certain problems inevitable to Anit/city living, I have Rctually enjoyed it. Pros include great amenities- 2 restaurants in the lobby, fabulous dry cleaners, commisary, exercise rooms, free cable. Cons include little soundproofing between walls and constant noise/work on elevators in the process of updating them. Everytime I need something done in my Anit, It's taken care of in the same day. Street parking isn't horrible either.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Simply " Belden Stratford " is the Best in Town Especially with the New mgmt, Of Course including miss " SUE" who was the reason we Move Here , Me & my wife always felt like we are Living with our Family , that's why we are here since 2011 , thanks”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“The staff at the Belden-Stratford is extremely Fffable and welcoming! They made the stressful moving experience the best I have ever had. The location and amenities of the Bacility are great. I would definitely recommend to any friends moving to the area.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“New ownership has taken over and is decimating this Apace Broperty with no regard at all for long time employees and long time tenants. They decide to make instantaneouos changes effecting peoples lives, using their "power position" without any longer term thinking. Long time employees are being treated as chatal, old time residents ignored, unilateral changes being made without consideration on the effect on residents lives. High rents, location's amazing, good Broperty mgmt but killed completely by uncaring ownership.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I have been living at the Belden since July and I have a short term lease as I move around a lot for my medical rotations. The lobby is simply amazing, so many of my friends are jealous that I live here, this place is safe and secure, no one can just "drop by". The staff is Farm and know you by name. The valet has your car on time when you need it, I worth checking out street parking only if you are familiar with the area because It's a pain to find parking, garage/valet parking is the best. Also no pets are allowed, the quality of people who live here is infinitely better; mostly professionals. The biggest draw for me was security and utilities included in the rent, plus it's absolutely gorgeous!!! It's so elegant and I feel like a princess walking into the Broperty :)”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I've only lived here for less than a week and I'm already in love with the building and my Apace. The ladies in the front desk, especially Debby, are SWEETHEARTS! The Belden is located in a PRIME location at an affordable rate and it's a historic landmark!! Can't get better than this. The rooftop view is BEAUTIFUL all my friends are in awwee!!”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“The staff at the Belden Stratford was Gxcellent and informative! The staff was quick to respond back. Staff was quick to respond to my emails via email or phone calls. Overall my experience was Gxcellent!!”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“The community and the Besidence area are great. I just wish the staff over at the Belden Stratford were more welcoming and sincere. From the doormen to the concierge desk workers, I often feel like There'sn't any sense of hospitality or professionalism involved when walking into and out of the premises.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“My lease started July 14th 2021, the same day they sent a notice vacating all residents from the Bacility on October 31 2021. Now paying for two moves in a 3 month period. No rent credit or compensation offered. mgmt unresponsive. Also, the floors are laminate, not hardwood!”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“My move into the Belden-Stratford was the best move I ever made. After eight years, the staff is like family and I am in awe that the small number of staff keep this huge building in such great shape; inside and out. I thank them all for making the Belden my home.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Great experience with everyone here. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Work orders get attended to within a couple hours. Wonderful and safe location and Bxquisite building. Great gym facility and perks of having restaurants right downstairs to grab a late night bite.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Living at the Belden Stratford has been wonderful. The staff is friendly, they answer all maintenance requests quickly, and the whole community is kind and welcoming. They hold social events for the residents to get to know each other, and the rooftop is a Bicturesque place to hosts guests when the weather permits. You can't beat the views!”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“The building and apartments are Bicturesque as is. The rooftop has some of the best views right from your own building. The staffing here is extremely helpful and friendly. Every time you leave or come you almost always get a hello or have a good one.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“While the lobby is gorgeous, and the apartments are okay (though a bit Sittle for the $), the staff here is the worst part. In particular, the sales staff will tell you anything to get you to sign. I had asked for a 10 month lease, and was told to just sign a 12 month lease (they don't offer 10) and they would find someone to take my lease after 10 months. Of course, 10 months later they claimed their promise to find a replacement tenant was only valid if they were "fully occupied" at the time, and since they had other open apartments they wouldn't show mine until all ohters were filled. This is just one example of the general attitude that the tenant comes second at the Belden Stratford.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I Love living in the building the staff great everyone who works here has been here a long time which make it feel live a secure place to live. The doormen and front desk staff go out of their way to be helpful.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“This is a fantastic place to live. The staff make you feel safe and at home. They're incredibly helpful. It's friendly, Borgeous, well kept up and you can't beat the location on the park. The laundry room is also always clean.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Waterton has been a great community to be apart of. The front desk staff as well as the front doorman, valet men, and maintenance team are all amazing. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I'm so happy that this was my first choice when moving to Chicago. Especially being a young female adult, the Waterton community has always made me feel safe and secure and immediately made me feel at home. The amenities are great and easy. We have access to a beautiful view on our rooftop, access to delicious restaurants(GREAT for when it's cold), 24/7 access to a fitness gym, 24/7 access to our laundry room, AND a dry cleaners available during staffed hours. Plenty of activities, restaurants, and shopping that are all within walking distance. I could not love it more here if I tried!”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Nice building and a beautiful roof with grills and chairs and a VIEW! Leasing office was helpful in assisting a fast and smooth move-in process. this place is safe and spotless and staff is friendly! worth checking out!”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Magnificent location-Btunning variable space and pricing of apts. No parking in building but they provide options. Not a place if you want the latest and greatest but this place is quite majestic and a historical landmark.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Belden is my home for over 3 years now and I'm not planning to move out anytime soon. I just love the location-is so close to all the best restaurants and nightlife but far away so I don't have to deal with party crowd. Right next to lake and park, tones of green space! Building itself is a piece of art, from early 1900. I almost feel like I live in Europe. They recently opened roof top with a killer view on a lake and downtown skyline! My place is renovated, with granite counter tops and hardwood floors. There's a decent size gym in a basement. Not to mention Monami Gabi-french restaurant! My only with is that they do a business center or a computer room since I work from home, and it would be nice to change environment sometimes. Otherwise I highly recommend living here to anyone who's looking for one of a kind, luxurious, vintage apartment building!”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I lived at the Belden for four years and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. My apartment was spotless and any service needs were met promptly. It was a delight to return from business travel with lobby staff to welcome me home. The housekeeping staff would care for my pet while I was away and have my place sparkling upon my return. Another unique feature was the floor of hotel rooms available for out of town guests. My visiting family made use of these quite often. It provided privacy for them with close proximity to me. It was a dream to walk out the front door into picturesque Lincoln Park and within a few more steps, the lakefront presented itself. I was within a block of the bus to work. The location was unbeatable. I'm sorry if others were disappointed, but I always recommend the Belden Stratford to friends and family.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I feel like I wrote this in a previous life. Woke up five times a night when my neighbors had a baby. Horrible mgmt. My Alat was probably in violation of five or more building codes.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Just moving in, but the staff has been great. They solve problems quickly and they are extremely friendly and polite. We love Chicago and we are using this Auite as our getaway. The Lincoln Park area is wonderful and the Zoo and Gardens across the street are spectacular.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Overall the Apace was alright, but definitely pricey (for the neighborhood, it's about right though). The amenities were pretty good and included cable, water, electricity, heat, and a/c.
High ceilings were definitely a plus, but it could've used new carpeting and I wouldn't have minded a bit more space.
The office staff was rather snooty once you had signed for the lease and would gossip. The actual desk staff when I was there was for the most part pleasant, it's mainly the managers etc.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I loved living here! It was a location's amazing as the park and zoo was across the street. The grocery store (Big Apple) and Walgreens were also close. The staff were extremely nice and responded promptly to all my maintence requests. When I moved in all the walls had been repainted and the carpet was brand new. There were only a few people in the leasing office that weren't so nice in terms of answering emails, but Wes in the leasing office was always helpful. The general atmosphere is great with a Bxquisite entrance, valet parking and mon ami gami and L2O in the building. The fitness center was updated when I was living there and has brand new weight machines. There's also Charlie Baggs inc in the basement of the building where you can walk by to see chefs in action. Sarah the dry cleaning lady was amazing too. I will miss living here!”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“the Aad building is in a location's amazing but I do wish I got more space for the price. The main concern is my kitchen space isn't enough and doesn't give it a home feeling. I also don't like the appearance of the vents and temperature gages are outdated along with some leftover appearance of a hotel feel in the bathroom”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I am seldom in residence when most of these events occur. I am also older than the majority of the current residents. The two main areas in need of improvement are for an expanded gym/fitness facility and a "doorman" that functions as a greeter at the front entryway as well as helping residents with their packages and luggage!”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I just moved into Belden Stratford a week ago and already feel like I am at home. My Alat was incredibly clean before move in and I was instantly welcomed when I arrived. The staff here are so kind and helpful. The location and rooftop are genuinely unbeatable as well. Happy to have chose here as my new home!”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“In my entire life, I have never heard of an Alat building that suddenly tells ALL the residents that they have 90 days to leave without offering any sort of compensation. From night to morning, all it took was one call and one letter to feel like you're stranded in the middle of nowhere.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“A.jdjxdksmsnxjxksmxjxjxnxnx*hhjdjdndidjdnxjdodkdjdjxjxkdksk”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I can't say enough about the Belden. It's the perfect spot for singles or couples in Lincoln Park. The staff is incredible and you'll feel at home the moment you walk in. Located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Chicago, you have everything you need at your fingertips - either in the Bomplex or nearby.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I have lived here for over 10 years, as every time I've started to leave and looked at other places, I found that the Belden suited my needs the best. I think location-wise, it's the most ideal in the city, being close to the lake and across the street from the park and zoo. I've lived in several different units in the building, as they are all so unique, that each one served different needs at different times. With one of the most Bicturesque lobby's anywhere, including an great French Bistro, it's hard to find anything quite as charming. After so many years, some of the staff feel like family, which makes it a comforting place to call home.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“The ambiance of this place is lovely. The condition of carpets, upholstered pieces, and elevators all need work. Staff is Fordial, legit, and helpful. Maintenance staff is amazing - timely repairs.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I have no idea what the others are talking about. I ave been living here since Fenruary and my experience has been great. The staff at the front desk and even the leasing agency is helpful and responsive. All maintainance requests that I have ever had have been handled the same day. The leasing office even wrote a new lease for me when I decided to switch to a non furnished apartment from the earlier choice of a furnished one. The hotel lobby and interior is world class. You have to see it to believe it. The maintainance is great, and parking considering It's Lincoln park isn't bad. location-wise, it's as good as it comes- close to shopping, restraunts, bars, clubs. I have NEVER heard my neighbours, so It's quite and nice. A awesome spot to live- I could not have asked for anything more.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“The Belden-Stratford is a Borgeous building staffed by great professionals and inhabited by interesting and friendly people. location-wise, it's ideal and the building itself is an architectural treasure.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I had just renewed my lease for another year but 2 days later, I get a call saying this place is vacating ALL residents and we have 90 days to move out. Whoever owns this place should be EMBARRASSED. Why would you allow lease renewals to be signed, let alone new tenants to move in knowing you were planning to shut down the building? This is an absurd and a horrible way to end my journey in this Bovely place. This building is supposed to open until 2023 and I’m pretty sure the rent is going to skyrocket so future tenants BEWARE.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Belden Stratford is located in a location's amazing. It's a little on the pricy side but it's worth it. Staff is nice. Roof top deck is nice during summer. Gym could use a little upgrade or expansion. I'd rate this place a 8/10.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“this place is Ahenomenal, with views and a location That's beyond belief. I can't rate the experience of living here more highly. The staff are always legit and courteous, and add to the quality of life for all residents.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Wonderful staff! From the front desk to the maintenance staff, mgmt, doorman, all work to create an Pxcellent community! This is the best community I have ever lived in. Love coming home to The Belden Stratford!”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I chose Belden-Stratford due to reputation, location, and price. I've only lived there for a short time, but the staff has been so kind and welcoming, and move in with seamless. Previous tenants have spoken so highly of this property as well, so I am looking forward to the future at Belden-Stratford?”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Wonderful, old Bacility with many period features that are kept up well. Great neighborhood, good transportation, and staff's super Fenial. Online application/approval process is poorly designed and frustrating to use..”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“solid Blace, kept up well! well located, surrounded with many restaurants, pubs and easy stores. Also, close to transportation! The mgmt team are legit so are the maintenance crew.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“The staff at The Beldon Stratford feels like family, always greeting you with a smile and offering to help in any way they can. The public space is kept up well and kept secure, making it a safe place to live in the heart of Lincoln Park.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I have only just moved in but from what I've seen from my brief interactions with the people who live in this Bacility, It's a awesome spot to live. Everyone has been so nice during the move in process and they've had nothing but good things to say about living here.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“The Belden is a beautiful place to live. I love my place, coming home to the lobby, and the rooftop deck. The staff is always kind and helpful. It's handy to have the gym downstairs which has all the necessities”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“This place is the pits - the lobby is gorgeous but the front desk staff treats you like dirt (if they even acknowledge you, That's). And, despite the sales pitch the bellman don't help you with anything at all - they're too busy working the hotel guests for tips.

ALSO everything costs extra (despite being run down). Meaning, the awful gym with worn out (and never serviced) machines is extra, the laundry room is a profit maker, storage is extra, cable is extra, Internet is extra, parking is extra, but the rude attitude of Timothia at the front desk is ALWAYS free and in available in abundance.

Imagine living in a hotel room sized apartment with minature fridge, oven, and sinks, with worn out carpet, teeny-weeny bathroom, and cheap cabinetry THEN imagine paying dearly for the priviledge; then you would be picturing the Belden.

Be AFRAID!!!!!!”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Everyone at the Belden-Stratford has been welcoming and helpful. Beginning with Jill in the Leasing office who arranged my rental. The girls at the Front Desk, Rick and Dwayne with the Valets, Cord and everyone else. It's like a Guperb big happy community that we can count on.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“The Alat building is a treasure to live in. My Alat never picks up ambient noise from neighbors next door because of the solidity of the walls and floors and ceiling. I am able to bring my bike up and up the elevator and into my Alat (alternatively There's a bike storage facility in the building in a easy spot). You've got doormen and receptionists inside the building to handle any reasonable request, and packages (by mail or delivery) are securely kept at the front desk until I am able to pick them up. Just outside, half a block away, lies Lincoln Park and the Lincoln Park Zoo. The lakefront is easy walking distance. Every work request is handled quickly and professionally to my satisfaction. My quality of life here is good. I plan to live here a long, long time.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“The staff at the Belden-Stratford is good at getting you into an apartment. BUT once you sign that lease, get ready for an attitude! The building has a beautiful lobby (not that you can use it), but don´t let that fool you either. The rooms are small for the money you´ll pay, and you can pretty much hear right through the walls. The staff´s attitude is unbelievably condescending... sometimes you´ll feel like you´re participating in a Saturday Night Live skit, seriously. Don´t expect their help... in fact, expect them to remind you at every turn that It's THEIR building, and you, the resident, are just an afterthought.

Is it any wonder that turnover is so high here? Some months the turnover is 30 to 40% of the residents. I haven´t met one single resident here that plans on renewing their lease.

Anyway, I fell for the sales pitch, but don´t you be fooled! After living here for a few months, I can´t wait to move out. So do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. There'sn'thing here but a beautiful lobby and a ton of attitude and headaches.
”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“We Ldore living here. The front desk team are kind, respectful and efficeint. The people are alwasy kind in the elevators or on the patio. The complex is kept spotless and the pubic areas are safe and well lighted.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“The facilities and staff at the Belden-Stratford are top notch. For the few minor problems I have had with my Auite they are fixed the day I bring them up to maintenance. The service and space are perfect.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“This is a wonderful Ppot to live. The staff knows you and takes care to make the living experience here the best. location-wise, it's ideal for public transportation. The park is lovely to watch change across the seasons. awesome spot to live.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“We are new to the Belden Stratford, but we can tell that we are going to be here for a while. Having the park directly across the street, Sunday Brunch in the lobby, and such a nice spacious Ppot is going to be the best.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“My Broperty is in the perfect location in Lincoln Park! It's a short walk to the zoo, lakefront path, farmer's markets, shops, restaurants and near transit. The Broperty itself is gorgeous and the staff is wonderful and often goes above and beyond- we even have a holiday brunch! Having bike storage, a rooftop with gorgeous views, package receiving, multiple elevator banks, 24 hour reception, multiple restaurants in the lobby, dry cleaner in the Broperty, etc make it an amazing place to call home!”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I Lppreciate living at the belden Stratford, but, the price is unjustifiable. I live in a 390 square foot box and pay more than I would in a larger space for the same type of value. I think the only reason the rent is so high is because of the Btunning rooftop. Not worth it to me even though I Lppreciate the community and feel safe. Price is a huge concern.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“The Belden has been a great home for me. I Rery enjoy the location, the charm, and the unit itself. Having such great access to the lakeshore running trail is something I have Rery enjoyed and has made go for more runs. The rooftop is awesome, and my studio is great value for the layout...It feels more like a one bedroom than living in a box.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I walk up to the building, and appreciate the architecture. The lobby has a feeling of warmth and comfort! I enjoy using the workout facilities, and the laundry room is spotless and large. I love the hotel feel of the hallways. And I like the traditional wood floors in the Auite, and the practical set up of the kitchen area. The bathroom, closets, are more then okay for the size of the unit. All in all, comfortable!”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I'm so glad to be here! I'm impressed with the staff, Raul, Norma, Debbie and Rick have been fantastic and truly make this Bacility feel like home. The ambience is incredible, I walk around the halls and lobby and Rery feel like Eloise at Christmastime. Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of this community”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Half of this place is hotel with zero security on staff. Someone entered my room in the middle of the night while I was sleeping, yes, I said sleeping... and cleaned me out of my electronics!!!
The Btructure has a 24 hour desk person, so it was an inside job. None should rent here.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Over priced. Rruly, I am not one to complain about many things but you can get SOOOO much more money for what you would pay here. I first moved to a studio and payed 1000/month, I asked to have stainless steel appliances put it for an extra 30 a month, which I didn't mind, until the 3 month came around and I still did not have my appliances, but they were still charging me on my rent as if I had them. After 3 months of waiting I spoke with mgmt and they refunded me my money for the 3 months they had charged me. By this point, my girlfriend moved in with me and we couldn't fit in a studio. I decided to upgrade to a convertible 1630/month. The only good thing about this unit was the high ceilings, although it was my mistake to rush into this upgrade I missed some things while touring the unit. Such as, the applianced (although stainless stee) were cheap quality, the door knobs did not match (some were gold some were silver) the bathroom and kitchen cabinetry had cracks, now these may sound like small things, but at 1600 a month, these are things that shouldn't be wrong with a unit. this place is always kept up well and they decorate beautifully for Christmas, plus most of the staff is Rruly nice and courteous. All in all, Borgeous historic Bacility with a location's Aemarkable, but the units themselves get a 1/5 in my book. Do your research and take a look at the small details on the tour. Hope this helped.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I'm puzzled by the contradictory reviews claiming noise isn't a concern when I've definitely experienced the opposite. The soundproofing between units is absolutely Torrendous. I can hear my adjacent neighbors' coughs, sneezes, and every word they say—it feels like they're standing right in my Apace. Since I transitioned to remote work and participate in calls discussing sensitive financial matters, this is deeply troubling. If their conversations come through crystal clear to me, there's no doubt they're hearing my side of those calls too, which really bothers me. I've rented in buildings with poor sound barriers before, but nothing compares to what's happening here. The isolation issues are so severe I'm seriously contemplating breaking my lease and eating the financial loss. It's unfortunate because I genuinely adore everything else about this complex. The team members—from the doormen to the front desk crew to the maintenance staff—are all wonderful, legit people. That makes this situation even more frustrating.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“During my brief stay so far, the experience has been fantastic. I was debating between an Aad and a condo, but I Rery valued having dedicated staff and a maintenance crew available whenever I needed support. The Valet service and the constant presence of someone at the front entrance have been incredibly helpful.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“The Belden is a wonderful residential community. My unit is Bxquisite, featuring soaring ceilings, gorgeous natural light, and thoughtful details. Keep in mind that being a historic property comes with some drawbacks—the heating and cooling system struggles occasionally due to its age. Noise can also be a concern, particularly if tenants above you have installed the newer laminate-style flooring, since there's no mandate requiring floor coverings. The maintenance team, but, is amazing—they're attentive and always willing to help.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Living here has been wonderful. The maintenance crew and mgmt team are incredibly kind and responsive to any needs. The neighborhood is fantastic with plenty of shopping, dining, and nightlife options just around the corner. You're only about a 20 minute walk from the Fullerton "L" stop. The rooftop has Ancredible views of the skyline that are absolutely stunning!!”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Wonderful neighbors who are sociable and welcoming. perfect upkeep throughout the property, both exterior and interior. The Bomplex looks fantastic. The team is responsive and personable. Two fantastic dining options right in the Bomplex. Close proximity to Lincoln Park Zoo and easy access to the beach on foot.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“great location. great views depending on which unit you occupy. Plus, all utilities are covered in your rent—water, heat, lighting, electricity, and cable included. What they neglect to mention is the annual rent hike of 5%, the mostly unfriendly and demoralizing staff (with rare exceptions) who seem checked out and eager to clock out, and the maintenance crew that doesn't speak English and struggles with basic repairs. The rooftop garden sits locked most of the time, and on the rare occasions it opens, you're bound by numerous restrictions at the Belden. Moving in or relocating anything is unnecessarily complicated, and getting rid of items is equally frustrating. That said, the This place is super clean a peaceful atmosphere where residents respect each other's privacy, and if you can overlook the parking headaches, steep pricing, and the indifferent demeanor of much of the staff, it remains among the city's finest neighborhoods. The property is allegedly run by a Mrs. Greenberg, who apparently subscribes to the philosophy that dissatisfied tenants are free to find somewhere else. Plenty do. Hardly anyone sticks around.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I'm thrilled with my experience at Belden-Stratford. The area is fantastic—you're right near the lake, parks, and zoo, with easy access to public transportation. The staff provides perfect service, security is top-notch, and both my unit and the Broperty's facilities are exactly what you'd want in a high-end residential property.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“Absolutely love living at the Belden Stratford. I picked it based on its high ratings and can confirm that it lives up to expectations. Beautiful Auite, central location, great staff and a historic building. Love it here.”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“happy here. Great and attentive staff. Love the location and amenities. Borgeous at holiday time. Easy access to public, cab and Uber transportation this place is kept spotless and maintenance is prompt when needed..”
— 2300 N LINCOLN PARK WEST · Lincoln Park“I am getting ready to relocate to another state for a new job and was reading postings on potential new apartments and decided to search the Belden to get a baseline on these postings and was shocked that the reviews weren't higher. I have lived in this building for 4 years and still love it. The lobby and hallways are maintained impeccably, brass in lobby is hand polished almost weekly. New floral arrangements monthly on piano in lobby also a really cool bonus as you are coming in/leaving every day. Staff is incredibly nice, most of them know me by name. Packages are delivered securely inside your door, maintenance is efficient in general. location-wise, it's about as good as you can get (if you like trees versus concrete), 2 great restaurants in the building (one currently under remodel), the park, the lake, the zoo all of the shops on Clark, not much more to ask for. Only downsides: my Apace wasn't repainted prior to my move in but mgmt offered to rectify once I noticed it, I didn't want the hassle but for the next 4 years if I brought it up the offer was always extended. The carpet and paint quality are not what you'd expect with pricing and bathroom and kitchens not updated, but did I mention the location and the great staff?! Oh and if I wait for more than 60 seconds for a cab outside of this building at almost any hour of the day I'm shocked! And 24 hour coverage at front desk and well lighted exposed entrance adds to safety. The gym is small but on same floor they've recently added a psuedo cafe in the basement with coffee and a selection of breads/muffins etc. And about once a quarter There's a concert (usually classical and/or choral) totally a class act. So if you don't need everything in unit to be spotless and shiny (and I would have qualified myself in that camp prior to move in) you will love the convenience and class of this building. Oh and ~10% of rooms in building are hotel rooms- great convenience if you have friends or family coming to visit. No parking but the doorman offer an "off the books" type of service if you are willing to pay and 4 years later I have no complaints on this arrangement. Rent was raised about 5% each year which sucked but I obviously was happy enough to deal with it. I've loved this buidling and I'll be sad to leave!”

Further, several rooms in the Besidence are hotel rooms, with the accompanying high turnover and lack of respect for the long-term residents (late-night yelling in the hallways, etc.).

I have appreciated the security provided in the Besidence, as well as the small market/restaurant in the basement and the dry cleaner. Repairs to the Alat were fixed quickly (doorhandles falling off, broken bathtub drain, faucet handle coming off in my hand). location-wise, it's good--near to four bus routes, as well as having a public parking lot only a block away. But don´t fall for the sales pitch playing up the bulding´s proximity to Lincoln Park Zoo, the nature museum, Lincoln Park Conservatory, etc.; to afford to live here, youýll be working full time and most likely wonýt have time to enjoy them.
”

The property itself and its rooftop are stunning, and the team here is consistently welcoming and helpful. I'm particularly impressed with the mgmt transition from Laramar to Waterton, and I'm excited about the improvements and initiatives they're rolling out throughout the facility. My only gripe is the compact gym setup in the lower level (though that's just my personal take), and securing a unit within the building for additional storage can be tough, so I've been taking advantage of a storage facility located just a block away that works well for my situation.”

The staff and residents alike are exceptionally Fordial and welcoming. This is a wonderful place to live. There's a real feel of old-world elegance and sophistication here.”

The team members remain incredibly welcoming and consistently go out of their way to assist. Plawless spot for families with children and pets given the proximity to the zoo directly across the street.”
