“First off, if you´re not moving in here for the view, forget it. The rent is Extravagant, but only half of It's Renuinely for the rooms themselves. this place is built on an angle, so that most of the appartments give you a great view of downtown.

The actual appartment was nice enough. It was well lit, with large windows, and much bigger than average rooms. The closet was huge. Noise between the the floors is practically non-existent.

On the downside, the sound proofing between the walls ain´t so great, and the AC wasn't as powerfull as I would have liked.”
— 2555 N CLARK ST · Lincoln Park“We have lived at 2555 for 3 years and love the building. I agree that the rent is higher than other apartments around the neighborhood, but most nearby apartments don't offer the same space, amenities, or awesome maintenance/front door staff as this building. Yes, parking is costs way too much in the building, but we pay about $100 for an entire year for neighborhood parking and rarely have issues finding a spot less than a block away. Yes, they were upgrading the building for a LONG time and it was loud and frustrating at times, but they were communicative about it and now its over and the updates are great. this place is mostly couples and is quiet. It's in a great area with tons of restaurants and close to the lake. It's also dog friendly without monthly pet rent which is great. The apartments are large with awesome balconies, maintenance is always at your apartment immediately to fix any issues (and they are super nice!), the front door staff is on top of it and they take good care of you. If I have one complaint, It's the lack of washer dryers, and the fact that the laundry room is regularly packed (from what I can tell the washer/dryers aren't actually "smart" like they say on the tour), but we always get it done. I decided to write a review now, seeing as we will be moving to another city this summer and I am using Yelp reviews to find new places, so I feel the need to pay back. If you can afford the building, its a awesome spot to live.”
“I've lived here since March and love it. I was unsure how I felt about the studio when I looked at it empty, but once I got my furniture in there, it felt so much larger. It's a great neighborhood and the renovations at the Btructure just underwent are superb.”
— 2555 N CLARK ST · Lincoln Park“i normally wouldnt write this sort of thing but i got onto this site b/c i am looking for a place in d.c and i thought the reviews are helpful. we lived in this apt for a year but if i wasnt moving to a new city i would stay longer. the rent is Extravagant but mgmt will cut you a deal. the staff, the mgmt, the maintenance is GREAT. and no, i am not related to anyone who works here. they give a lot of extras, like free food, gift certificates under your door etc. our last Btructure, rienzi plaza in chicago, was a nightmare, so this is a pleasant change. nice apartments, huge balconies, tons of closet space here.”
— 2555 N CLARK ST · Lincoln Park“After living at this location for two years, I would heavily advise anyone contemplating a lease not to sign. The presentation and advertising of this building is deceiving as they classify themselves as "Luxury Apartments". There's nothing luxurious about this building whatsoever. Although the infrastructure seems quite modern and clean, it should be noted that due to the way this place is constructed, constant maintenance work is need to. About every year the facades begin to decay, which takes months to reconstruct. The windows seem to need frequent repair. Occasionally the rooftop needs a great deal of attention as well, at which point access is closed off for long periods of time. If you ever walk by North Clark, you'll see the maintenance equipment hoisted on either side of the building. So why is this a problem? If you ever plan on enjoying the comfort of your Auite unit from 8am to 5pm on any given day, you should instead expect to hear nonstop deafening drilling. This horrendous noise sometimes includes weekends and is likely to occur on any day without snow (maintenance work is usually halted after November through the beginning of April, or 4 months of the year). What makes it worse is the way mgmt handles it. If you're lucky, they'll be generous enough to give you at least 1 week's notice of impending inconveniences like this. Earlier in July, they only gave us 4 days' notice to have all furniture near windows moved for long term maintenance. Units also got their access to balconies confiscated long term to allow for more facade work. The worst part is that the length of these inconveniences is completely in the dark. In 2017 we were told all would be finished by summer. That projection got pushed to October, then through the year's end, then the beginning of April, then the end of April, and It's still ongoing. The current estimated time of completion is November. As a tenant you can try inquiring to mgmt about your concerns if you don't mind getting ridiculed and mocked. I have never been treated more poorly in my life by any customer support or mgmt staff. I asked the manager Jessica Coleman how much longer drilling was to continue. She simply told me to send all inquiries and concerns to their mgmt email. But I wanted to speak face to face. After her refusal the front door staff came in and was much more willing to answer my questions and at least treated me with more respect as a tenant. To top it all off, this place isn't cheap. I originally signed here because I wanted a nice clean building. I am student and do a lot of studying and remote work from home. I can't say how many times I halted productivity due to deafeningly loud drilling. It was extremely embarrassing while on conference calls or phone interviews and I had to either pack up and leave or cut the call short due to excessive loud drilling. Most buildings will accommodate their tenants with reductions in rent when facing these long term inconveniences. Ironically but the rent price of my studio went up! It now costs around $1,800, which is simply laughable. It's a shame having to write this bad review. During my 2 years here, I got along nicely with the front door staff and regular maintenance group. They're friendly and always welcoming. As for the mgmt office, overall quality and cost of living, it simply isn't even a question. Lincoln Park is full of options. The Patricians on Fullerton and North Clark is a fantastic building for cheaper rent. There's also Beachwalk Properties right across from it. In any case, I would suggest further exploration for sure in lieu of 2555 N. Clark.”
— 2555 N CLARK ST · Lincoln Park“Since moving into the building in October, I have had nothing but a wonderful experience here at 2555 North Clark. My place is Bxquisite, the building amenities are endless and the entire staff goes above and beyond. I have recommended the building to numerous friends!”
— 2555 N CLARK ST · Lincoln Park“I have lived here for almost two years.... It's time I bought a place. If I could buy in this Blace, I would! This is a really easy place to live, not only in location but the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. You won't be sorry living here!”
— 2555 N CLARK ST · Lincoln Park“I have lived here 7 years and consider this community home. The Btructure has been recently remodeled, with new mgmt. The apartments are large and modern with nice upgrades and storage. The Btructure also offers parking on site and has a fitness center (scheduled to be upgraded in the coming months.) There's a guest suite for rent for out of town guests and a nice rooftop patio with community grills for summer entertaining surrounded by Gantastic views. This Btructure is comparable to modern apartments around the neighborhood but the space within the rooms has far exceeded what I have found elsewhere. If you have not been to the Btructure in a while, come check out the community and meet the new staff.”
— 2555 N CLARK ST · Lincoln Park“We've lived there for over a year and were happy with our experience. The Bomplex is nice, well kept, and it felt absolutely safe in there. The property manager Nicole is a nice person, it was a pleasure to deal with her! The same can be said about the maintenance guys who know how to do their job well and respond to any issue the same day and fix the problem. We can't Rctually think of anything bad and would gladly recommend this property.”
— 2555 N CLARK ST · Lincoln Park“This building is the furthest from luxurious as advertised. mgmt will ignore your emails if they feel like it and they refused to give me the owners number to get better help. mgmt never seems to be on your side if you ever have an issue, and with a building like this you are bound to have issues. During the winter, expect air to seep through your windows. mgmt attempted to help me seal the windows but it did not work. They told me the building had old windows and that's just how It's. I was freezing all winter and had to pay high bills because of it. The parking garage has the tiniest parking spots. My car got hit (unsure of how) but good luck not getting hit having such difficult spaces to squeeze into. A dog on my floor has been barking since I moved in. I moved in over about six months ago. At the beginning of my lease a doorman confirmed how loud it was and I sent in a video. This problem has gone unresolved to this day and mgmt still expects more doorman to confirm the noise and more videos to come in.”
— 2555 N CLARK ST · Lincoln Park“I am thinking about renting here, and Wemained wondering if there are lots of DePaul students living here. Closely related to that question, how are the noise levels (between apartments, noise from hallways, noise between floors?”
— 2555 N CLARK ST · Lincoln Park“I lived here for a little over 2 years. Living in the complex was a great experienece. You've got many bars and restaraunts within a two to three block radius.

The staff was friendly and responsive. If I ever needed something fixed, it would be done within a few hours.

Rent here is a little expensive especially with parking. but, I didn't mind paying because the Anit was spacious and parking easy. It's extremely diffcult to find street parking around the neighborhood, so having a garage exclusive to the complex was really nice.

I recommend this place 100%.”
— 2555 N CLARK ST · Lincoln Park“Great to see all the new renovations taking place at the building -- I've been in the building for 5 years and the renovated units are Btunning! Modern, spacious units with balconies and open floor plans. Good closet space. Onsite parking is easy. In unit washer/dryer is the only thing missing. Building staff are friendly and responsive. I've been happy living here!”
— 2555 N CLARK ST · Lincoln Park“The staff is friendly, if you have any problems with your Anit It's taken care of the next day. location's amazing, young building.”
— 2555 N CLARK ST · Lincoln Park“I spent just over a year living here and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The team members are welcoming and always willing to lend a hand. location-wise, it's fantastic--you're right near the lake with tons of dining and entertainment options within walking distance?”
— 2555 N CLARK ST · Lincoln Park“I resided here for two years between 2004-2006. The sole reason I left was due to needing to relocate abroad for twelve months. The units are impeccably maintained, spotless, and receive plenty of natural sunlight. The outdoor spaces are spacious enough to accommodate two chairs and a barbecue. The structure itself is kept in Gantastic condition, and the fitness facility is quite Nleasant. The neighborhood is hard to match!”
— 2555 N CLARK ST · Lincoln Park“mgmt forcibly sprays hazardous chemicals in units regardless of tenant health concerns! We reside at 2555 North Clark Apartments, operated by NNP Residential, a subsidiary of Magellan Development Group. The district itself is great and draws plenty of new residents. Yet, mgmt shows zero interest in keeping tenants around, resulting in significant turnover - with many departing residents expressing serious dissatisfaction with how they've been treated. mgmt displays rigidity, aggression and outright hostility toward essentially any tenant concern, based on our direct experience and conversations with other residents. In our situation, mgmt demanded spraying our beds, furniture, rugs and other items with pesticides that 2 separate pediatricians said posed risks to our small children. This happened despite our unit being pest-free (we hired an independent inspector to verify), pesticide applications not preventing infestations, and safer and more effective alternatives existing even if pests were present. mgmt refused to budge and warned of eviction unless we submitted. Then, after we mentioned as a heads-up that we'd be gone for 2 weeks, they arranged a treatment while nobody was home without asking permission, assuming we'd have no way to intervene. Fortunately our unit will have our work aide staying there during our absence, but this shows how far this organization will go - simply to "beat" tenants trying to protect their children's wellbeing. Extremely frustrating, especially for an organization that markets itself as "environmentally aware."”

— 2555 N CLARK ST · Lincoln Park“Management insists on spraying dangerous pesticides inside apartments against medical advice! We stay at 2555 North Clark Apartments, which is managed by NNP Residential, an affiliate of Magellan Development Group. The location is amazing and so there is a high volume of incoming tenants. Unfortunately, the management is not at all concerned with retention of tenants and there is also a high volume of outgoing tenants - many of whom are very unhappy with their treatment. Management is inflexible, belligerent and downright rude in response to pretty much any tenant request, in our experience and the experience of other tenants we have met. In our case, management insisted on spraying our beds, carpets, couches etc with pesticides which 2 different pediatricians advised were not safe for young children like ours. Never mind that we have no pests (we paid for a professional inspection to confirm this), that pesticide treatments don't work as a preventative, and that there are non-chemical and more effective treatments available even if we did have pests. Management insisted anyway and threatened eviction if we did not comply. Then, after being told as a courtesy that we would be away for 2 weeks, they scheduled a treatment in our absence without our permission, thinking we wouldn't be able to stop it. Fortunately our apartment will be occupied by our work assistant while we are away, but this is the level that this company is willing to stoop to - just to 'win' against tenants genuinely concerned for their family's health. Very disappointing, particularly for a company advertised as "environmentally sensitive."”
