“The building itself is older. Decent amenities. The door staff and maintenance staff are friendly and helpful. The building manager and condo association are awful. Building manager is uppity and doesn't make any extra effort for tenants. The condo association is rules with a stiff hand and doesn't welcome thoughts or suggestions from younger residents, with more modern views. Many of the building's policies are extremely outdated, as is the building itself, the condo association and the building manager.”
— 850 N DEWITT PL · Streeterville“850 DeWitt is a Condo Btructure erected in 1957. Populated mainly by bluehairs that were residents when the Btructure converted from apartments to condos in the 1970's, maintenance is sorely lacking. The condo association board is dictatorial, sexist and unresponsive. The Btructure manager isn'thing short of incompetent. Although located in a great area, the values of the units at 850 DeWitt a lot lag the values of other condos in the neighborhood. The laundry room is constantly grimy and the elevators operate intermittantly at best. Definitaely not the jewel of Streeterville.”
— 850 N DEWITT PL · Streeterville“Not sure who wrote the last review, but clearly has not stepped out of his or unit in about 30 years, or is merely a renter, not an owner. this place is immaculately clean (I challenge any other building to hold up to 850's). The building staff is legit, courteous, and has not experienced a staff turn-over in the at least 8 years I've lived here. The elevators, all updated work well, and are beautiful. A great rooftop deck, a beautified lobby, and nice quiet concrete walls. this place is still under value. It's not only a jewel, the price point makes it a secret of Streeterville. I own more than one unit.”
“Forget the haters. This place kick----. I've lived in a number of places throughout the city and this is the best.”
