“I rented here for LESS than a year, even though my lease was scheduled for a full year (UNIT 1804, a studio). I saw multiple cockroaches. Including eggs and droppings on my belongings (this is after I had contacted the building to exterminate in my unit over 4 times. The owner was already saying she would attempt to rent out the unit within that week that I contacted them of my request to end my lease, without any apparent initiative to get rid of the roach infestation. I won’t go too much into the unpleasant aura the morning staff gave off, but I will say the weekend, night shifts, and maintenance staff were quite friendly. The pool is nice but 1 quality feature can’t make up for a $1.5k/month cockroach infested apartment (now listed for $1700! :0) Do not rent here.”

People are nice and rooftop is beautiful. Noise of ambulances and fire trucks can get annoying. Even though our unit 2bed/2bath is beautifully renovated, it gets cockroaches, BIG ones, about 3" long including their antennaes. We are moving because of the noise and the bugs. We reported the bugs many times but nothing was done except to give us traps.”

Not many renters, but those who do rent are typically med students and Northwestern. We've made great friends with several other young couple here. The commute to work in the loop couldn't be easier. I've never waited even a minute for a cab. This really is the perfect place for those who want to experience the best of the city within walking distance. Overall the building is really quiet, I never hear neighbors through walls. Residents get discounted parking in garage for only $125 per month. Also, the recently renovated pool deck is as nicest I've seen in Chicago. It's actually nicer than the Peninsula's across the street.”

There were roaches in the building, the door me are selective on who they are nice to, there are older people who complain about renters and everything else, no fitness center, valet parking people are rude and will bang your car up. The air is only on from Memorial day to Labor day, the rest of the year its too hot. Too much noise on from Michigan Ave and the constant ambulances leaving and returning to NWM Hospital. Most of the residents are stuck up and think they are better than everyone because they live on Michigan Ave. I couldn't wait to leave. Also, the maintence don't respond to repairs needs. I had to call them several times to fix a plumbing problem that took 3 days for them to respond. Also, the price of Studios, 1 Bedrooms and 2 Bedrooms are over priced.”
