Moved here a month ago and maintenace is quick to respond. my heater went out and i had it fixed that same day. the manager was very nice and helped me with directions.I have quiet neighboors and see security at night. the only down fall is that the parking lots have plenty of pot holes.

I'm just moving into Salado and so far I'm impressed considering the neighborhood. The apartments are gorgeous on the inside for the price. They're definitely a hidden gem. The only MAJOR problem I have is that the complex owns the cable lines so I cant have my comcast services transferred, which sucks!!!

Do not move into these apartments, me and my husband moved in about a year ago. It has been awful. They are very disorganized. Maintenance was awful, appliances were breaking, and not getting fixed. The office was losing our money orders for rent, I would have to take them reciepts showing i paid, this was more than 3 times. The apartments are infested with roaches very, very bad. They just let anyone move in, they do not care. It is NOT a family firendly or safe complex as far as i am concerned. The office did nothing to try and help us with nosiy neighbors, our complaints were not being heard. Our car got stolen in the evening while it was still daylight out, right infront of our apartment. Please do not move here if you are thinking about it.

I recently moved to salado apts exactly a month ago beginning of September 2011 I was kind of scared at first since I had heard so many horror stories about greenspoint area, So far I like living here, there is plenty of bright light all over the complex and parking lot, So far I feel safe no loud neighbors or weird things have happened

I think salado apartments are good, they don't have roaches and the people in the office are nice and know what there doing, they might be mean if you don't pay rent or do something, but I love the apartments, and they arnt ------, I keep to myself and have a couple of people as friends; my son likes playing with the kids outside, but the water part is true hot water shuts off without a notice but turns back of, plus there are no roaches but ants and they exterminate, so just go to the office tell them your problem, any problem and it's done someone come to me within 5 to 10 mins or less

THE MANAGEMENT SUCKS AND SHOW FAVORITISM TO ---------..I ONLY MOVED THERE BECAUSE IT WAS A SPECIAL AND MY BEST FRIEND AT THE TIME LIVED THERE ALSO..

Yes rent is reasonable but not worth the issues. The Staff is lazy & shows no effort to make you feel at ease. Within the past 10 months 3 Different New Managament Companies has taken over. Roach infested, The A/C doesn't stay cool upstairs no matter what you leave the temp on. Vandalsim to vehicles daily, Mold inside the apartments, Pool is flinty. Gate stays open 24/7 & the only time you see police is when they are called out for an incident. No security. Maintenance has to be called several times before the problem is fixed if they fix it. I'm not sure why the rating is even showing 28%, should be in the single digits. Unless you are unable to afford to stay anywhere but here I wouldn't advise anyone to even step foot on this property. You might as well get an apartment in the real projects area and you might be treated fairer there......

I just moved here & I have had no problems. Maintenance is not the best, they're kinda slow but other than that, I'm happy. Where I used to live before the pool was always closed, at least the one here I can take my kids swimming.

My daughter lived there and it was the worst time of her life. The staff is unprofessional and very inexperienced. They have no knowledge of how to treat their residents. The property manager is rude, unprofessional, immature and evil. They have not clue on how to run a property. Please do not let even look here yet along lease. Bad, Bad!!!

I HAVE LIVE HERE FOR ALMOST ONE YEAR..MY LEASE IS ABOUT TO BE UP AND IM MOST DEF MOVING OUT. I HAD A LEAK IN MY APARTMENT THAT IVE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT SINCE I MOVED IN AUGUST 2009 THEY DIDNT FIX THE LEAK UNTIL APRIL 2010. THE NON SPEAKING ENGLISH MANTINANCE MAN CAME IN LOOKED AT IT TOLD ME HE WOULD BE BACK AND NEVER CAME TO FIX IT. ANOTHER GUY CAME IN APRIL TO FIX IT. I HAVE A NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR WHO NOT ONLY SMOKES WEED EVERYDAY HE SELLS CRACK AND HAS DOPE HEAD TRAFFIC ALL DAY. MY NEIGHBOR UP STAIR SELLS AND SMOKES PCP AND CRACK WEED EVERY DRUG YOU CAN THINK OF HE HAS IT..IN CASE YOUR WONDERING HOW I KNOW I OVERHEARD THEM TALKING. PARKING IS RIDICULOUS AND TOO MANY STRANGE PEOPLE WALK THROUGHOUT THE APARTMENTS ALL HOURS OF THE DAY. IM JUST READY TO GO...
