THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX IN THE CITY OF HOUSTON, TX. IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY YOU WOULD BE WISE TO STAY COMPLETELY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. THE STAFF AND MANAGEMENT ARE USELESS AND HORRIBLE LIARS. THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THROUGH WITH ANYTHING THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO DO. I MOVED IN 9/28/2015 AFTER MY INITIAL MOVE-IN DATE OF 9/12/2015. ON THE DAY I MOVED IN I WAS ADVISED THAT THE UNIT I PUT MY DEPOSIT ON WAS NOT AVAILABLE AND THEY ONLY HAD THE SMALLEST 2/2 AVAILABLE. RELUCTANTLY I TOOK THE APARTMENT BECAUSE I FIGURED IT WAS ONLY FOR A SHORT TIME (7 MONTHS) AND I DID NOT HAVE ANYWHERE ELSE TO GO. THE LEASING AGENT DID NOT GET TO GO THROUGH MY LEASE WITH ME AS SHE WAS IN A RUSH AND ADVISED SHE HAD TO GET HER CHILDREN BEFORE 6PM. I SIGNED IN HASTE BECAUSE I NEEDED TO MOVE IN IMMEDIATELY. UPON SIGNING MY LEASE I FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS NOT FOR 7 MONTHS BUT FOR 12 MONTHS AND IT WAS THE PRICED AT THE QUOTED PRICE OF 7 MONTHS WHICH INCLUDED A $50 CHARGE FOR THE SHORTER LEASE TERM. WHEN I ADVISED THE MANAGER MARIA PENA OF THE DISCREPANCY SHE PASSED ME TO THE ASSISTANT MANAGER ASHLEY JOHNSON AND I WAS TOLD I SIGNED THE CONTRACT AND THERE WAS NO WAY THE COMPANY COULD CHANGE IT. EVERYTHING WENT WRONG WITH MY MOVE IN THAT COULD GO WRONG INCLUDING MY CHILDREN NOT BEING LISTED ON THE LEASE. I COULD GO ON AND ON ABOUT MY HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE AT THE LODGE AT WEST OAKS HOWEVER THEY HAVE SUCKED ENOUGH ENERGY OUT OF MY LIFE I REFUSE TO GIVE THEM ANY MORE THOUGHT. I ENDED UP BREAKING MY LEASE JUST TO GET OUT OF THAT TOXIC DWELLING. RENTERS BEWARE THIS IS NOT A GOOD COMMUNITY AND RAAMCO PROPERTIES DOES NOTHING BUT BACK UP THEIR BAD SERVICE........ IF YOU WANT PEACE OF MIND AND COMFORTABLE LIVING QUARTERS THE LODGE AT WEST OAKS IS NOT THE PLACE TO BE!!!!

I have just completed my lease and have signed up for another year. I love living here. Management is attentive and courteous. I have no problems and love my apartment.

It's just been a nightmare living here! SAVE YOUR SELF THE AGONY DO NOT MOVE HERE! The community at first glance seems nice enough. After we moved in we soon realized nothing worked literally nothing! ALL of the appliances, outlets, toilets and the dryer did not work. The office staff is a joke; just a bunch of warm bodies. The use a manual system so you can call for a week and nothing will ever be communicated with their one maintenance guy. After speaking with corporate we finally had our maintenance requests completed! Six months later the coil in the oven caught on fire! Electricity cuts out every time it rains!

I LOVE living at Lodge at West Oaks!!!! For the most part, it is very quiet over here. The neighbors are friendly, and the property stays neat and clean!! The specialists in the leasing office are more than willing to assist you in any way!! I had a recent challenge, and it was taken care of immediately!! Thanks Ladies for all of your help!

I was a resident here over the winter. Stay away from this place. When I moved in there were dead roaches in the fridge and bathtub. Roaches, roaches, roaches everywhere. I asked for pest control but it never helped. Also if you are month to month, they still require a 2-month advance notice. Also, there were break-ins at the apartment complex and a robbery. Do not waste your money here.
