I moved there for super cheap rent, and easy freeway access location. Once the new Westpark tollway started, it was increasingly difficult to get in and out of the whole neighborhood.<br><br>Yes, it's a slummy neighborhood. Yes, it's low rent - and cosmetically you get what you pay for. But my car was never broken into, my apartment never robbed, and I never felt unsafe in any way. Mind your own business and you'd be fine - as in ANY neightborhood.<br><br>Management always seemed nice to me - and the occasions I had an emergency, it was always taken care of quickly (broken running faucet, alarm going off due to malfunction etc. - all taken care of in less than an hour) and the exterminators do their job, as I had NO issues with bugs.<br><br>If you're looking for something plush, this ain't it. If you want CHEAP and yet something that can at least be called a 'home', I don't see why this couldn't fit the bill...

The management couldn't be worse. They seem to view themselves as slumlords, and answer complaints by reminding you it's your own fault for choosing to live there. Amazing.
