Grounds are beautiful and the duplexes are gorgeous. I also love the fact that there is no one above you and no one below you. That is a huge plus. The property is very well maintained - I highly recommend it.

I live there for over two years and considered renewing one more year until I discovered exsesive mold. I contacted management and informed her I did not feel comfortable after all renewing my lease due to the mold and me having two small children. She had an attitude with me as if I was the issue. I made all my payments in full. Never gave mangement any problems as a tenant they even received a deposit upon moving in which I never got back. I referred two residents to Donovan village. Which shows you I liked Donovan. I have numerous emails, pictures and videos of things that needed to be fixed since i first moved in but maintenance never came out to fix. I check my credit only to find out they filed negatively on my credit which I'm not understanding I never missed a payment. Nobody ever contacted me about the $540 they filed on my credit. The apartment is very old floors three different flooring, counters were never finished, base boards had dog bite marks upon moving in, base bored all chewed. Rats and roaches. I love donovan village because of the old management Melissa and the commute to work for me was easy plus it was very quiet. Would I recommend these apartments now? Well,What do you think? Of Course NOT! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!! I'm still awaiting management to contact me back about the $540!!!!

I moved here from Colorado in early 2014. I must admit, I was not impressed in the beginning & I only moved here because it was close to my new job at the 911 Call Center. Since then, I have gotten to know my neighbors (one of whom has been here for 25 years), and, others who have lived here, moved out, and moved back in recently. Although renovations started after I had already moved in, the office manager (Melissa) told me that I could transfer to one of the new "upgraded" apartments (and, of course pay a little more rent) once my current lease expires. I also like that the new owner is making improvements. So far, they have trimmed the trees, replaced the uneven sidewalks, put up new signs, repaired the carports and fixed the non-working light fixtures, added a sitting area near the laundry room, addressed the situation with the overfilled dumpsters, put in solar screens, & added more flowers. The new apartments also have new appliances & flooring that looks like real wood. I can tell a big difference between how I have been treated in the last few months and from how I was treated at move in. I just want to say that I appreciate the service that Melissa and the maintenance man give me whenever I call the office. Also, the manager lives at the property and is always available whenever I have a problem. I really like it here and would like to stay here as long as I can.
