Overall everything is good. The safety is fantastic. The appearance and finishes are great and we especially love the gas range and spaciousness of our unit. We love the close walk to memorial park and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and seem to love their jobs. There are a couple points for improvement, including better appliances - we are the first tenants of our unit and our dishwasher has multiple broken features, and the dryer is not the best, but nothing too bad to complain about. We also wish there were at least 2 more treadmills in the gym as they are usually occupied during the popular hours.

Staff is very kind and attentive! Any concern that is brought up they have not only responded in a timely manner but they quickly resolve issues (which haven’t been many) ; but the care for residents is priority for the staff-

The Westcott is a nice building and compares favorably with other apartments I’ve lived in. There are a few problems, like the garage doors and the lack of fresh landscaping and sometimes there are too many oversized dogs. However, the staff is wonderful and that helps to make this a great place to live.

Love it here!!! Everyone is so kind and helpful. The pool is amazing. The most beautiful views and incredible amenities!! The best location in all of houston by far! I have no complaints at all! I would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Don’t believe the ratings!! Think twice before signing a lease as it is new but deceiving! Concierge & maintenance staff were very kind, however, not the leasing staff. Nice as long as you do not complain! . I was treated poorly & was pretty much called a liar as I complained of the gym noise located on the floor UNDERNEATH my unit & was asked to record it. I even asked the staff to come to my apartment as they argued it was impossible due to special mats. There were several other issues including an cockroaches which I’m terrified of and they’re gigantic! I slept nightly with lights on and a gallon of bug spray within reach… Yes, EVEN in the brand new refrigerator. There were so many!! Initially I leased a unit on the 5th floor and was told the floors/units are noise/soundproof. That’s a lie!!!.The walls are very thin & you will hear footsteps/noise above beneath, next door & conversation’s as people walk by. I transferred to the top floor & was faced with a dog that cried for over 8 hours at a time. I love dogs but who wants to hear them howling, crying and barking when resting or working from home. Obviously had separation anxiety! Not a moment of peace…the showers does not drain has no slope which is unsanitary. I have attached a video to prove this. You will be cleaning and scraping water after each shower so good luck when you have guests!!

This is a beautiful community with a location that can’t be beat. Safe neighborhood, easy commute, and a large park system out the back door. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for the feeling of a “house” but the amenities and social aspect of an apartment community.

Amazing staff and community. I love living at The Westcott. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for high rise living. This property is by far the best I’ve found in Houston. Thank you so much for making this a great place to live!

I have found The Westcott to be clean, friendly and welcoming. The parking is ample and the garage is bright. The resort style pool is a great gathering space while the 11th floor sky deck provides amazing views of the city. I'm sitting in the conference room/work space on the 4th floor as I type this review!

It’s been so great! I love living at the Westcott. Apartment grounds are always clean the staff is so friendly! It is very expensive but that’s the nature of the market. It feels like I live at a luxury hotel!

It took over a year to be given the items we were promised in the beginning. Then when said items are received my name is misspelled. Coachable moment. I run 3 companies and little details like that can be critical. We have to walk by the dog area to get to the park and that smells like a cesspool most of the time. Could that be watered down more often? Overall we have had an above-average experience.
