I have to say this apartment is the worst one I have ever liven in. The owner is very disrespectful and unprofessional !!!! She sends her people to my apartment without let me know previously all the time. She opened the AC and light when we were not there. The reason for doing that was she was afraid the AC was not functional. That is kind of like interpreting my private live. She brought potential residents to my apartment without any informing even before my lease is end. She also send her people to clean up my apartment without any agreement!!! But keep in mind!!!!!!!My lease will end up in one week not now! Besides, she requires me to clean up foods and trash that not belong to me, just because, I am the only one who live in there now. She pretends to care about other people but the bed and the bedding in my bedroom were all broken.

My contract just ended and I had to move out because im moving out of state ;-( I heard about this place thru a friend at Rice U who introduced me to the owners Sandie and her husband. Nice people, very family-oriented. They never bothered me and I never bothered them. Im sad to leave bc i personally loved the place. Never had any big problems with my one bedroom, i always kept it clean so... yea...i guess the fact that i didnt leave food on the counter or anything was the reason i never had roaches or ants or whatevs... the place was super quiet, didn't have to deal with nosy neighbors or anything like that! From reading the reviews, all i can say is - i liked it. Yea the building is old, but i personally wasnt prepared to pay 1450 for a one bedroom that was new. What i was paying for my 1br was a steal and even now i have friends who moved to houston calling me asking for the # to the place i lived. Hands down, id recommend this place to anyone. I don't like dealing with problems and this place was probably as hassle-free as I could ask for.

ilike the landlords, they try to do their best, but.............. dont come to live here, i want to move, maybe is quiet yes,but that is it! what you pay for is not worth it at all, we have ants, shower without pressure, our roof has leaks, dirty carpets, the sink floods on and off, it is a mess! PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE................

This is a older 50 unit complex run by the owners. They are very friendly, accessible and try to fix issues as they arise. If you can't afford a luxury apartment or are on a budget, I highly recommend Loop Crossing. PROS: Safe. As a single female, I've lived here for over 3 years and never felt unsafe. There are cameras on the gates, the gate closes after the cars and the entry ways are only entered by keys. Affordable. This is one of the most affordable rentals in Houston. Clean. The owners keep the complex beautifully landscaped and the unit was clean when I moved in. Nice Neighbors. I know about 25% of my neighbors personally and know most to smile and say hello to. People are very friendly here. Most people are medical students/professionals or university students. Good insulation between units. I never heard my neighbors through the walls, though I could hear them if they were outside. If it was ever too loud I would ask them to take it inside and they would. Again, pretty respectful people. CONS: Older complex. This is an older building so you're going to have issues with problems in the apartment. I had AC unit issues and there were leaks from the ceiling. The owners always fixed them within a day or two. Parking: Inside the gate parking is limited, but safe. Amenities: There are limited amenities. No W/D connections, no cable connections, only larger units have dishwasher. Again, this is what you trade for the amazing price.

I don't know how these people write a bad review about this place. It's 10 min to the med center which is where I work and half the price of everything around the area. The manager of the office is a super sweet lady who will work with you on just about everything. The complex is extremely quiet and although it is an older complex the insides of the units look new with hardwood floors and such. I have lived here four years and only about 3 or 4 times that I had to call the office to fix something. Great complex for students because of the price and proximity to everything around.

I work in the TMC, and after looking at apartments close to work, this was far and away one of the best ones I looked at that wasn't completely out my price range. This apartment complex maybe a little on the older side, but it is clean and well maintained and all of the other residents are quiet and respectful. You will see the occasional gigantic roach, but we are in the hot muggy south, people... roaches will get into even the cleanest, nicest house! I moved from a small town, and have never not felt completely safe in my apartment. Sandy and her husband are two of the most caring, genuine people that I have met and they truly treat their residents like family. The only negative thing I can possibly say about this apartment complex is that it is a little too close to Reliant Stadium for my tastes. During the majority of the year, it doesn't make much of a difference but during Rodeo (which lasts a month) traffic can be a bit of a beast trying to get home from work; especially if you work til 6 or 7 like I do. Living here definitely made the whole "moving to a big city" a much easier transition than it otherwise would have been. If you don't mind dealing with the hassle of Rodeo traffic, I would wholeheartedly recommend this apartment!

Just like the review below, the worst place I've ever lived. The apartment is old, the shower has not pressure, the carpet is dirty, and the landlord is unprofessional and disrespecful. I would not recomend this place to anyone... You are in Houston and there is so much to chose from... avoid this place.

I love living here, everything is fixed in a timely manner, my roof did have a leak in it and was fixed the same day! I also love it because its quiet! you rarely hear anything! Sandy is one of the kindest people that i have met , she will go out of her way to fix any problems & even sit down and chat for an hour or two :)

I visited a friend of mine who lived here a while back and didn't think that it was anywhere close to the comments made on this website. To be a true judge, you'll have to check this place out for yourself, but I think it's one of the best bang for buck places near downtown and the medcenter.

I also have read the negative comments below and they are ALL crazy. I am a girl that keeps everything clean and have never had any issues with roaches. TOADS? Really? Get a clue. They are all over Houston. Anyways, the apts are in a great location and the management is great. Sandy, who is not a Mexican woman, get your countries straight people, is a GREAT and very helpful landlord. Any problems that I have had she is ready and willing to fix as soon as she can. I have lived here for quite some time and I have loved it. The apt is spacious and the grounds always look nice. I work in the Medical Center and for the price, location, and friendly management staff, I couldn't ask for anything more. I am truely happy.
