“Management team is not great at ensuring safety of residents. The place has lot of racoons and nothing is being done to resolve the issue. My son is scared to get out of the house that we usually stuck in our apartment.”

— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“It's was good at first with the move in special but then they got new management who was very confused and leasing laws constantly harassing my family on file. Gun shots in the middle of the night. Dog ---- everywhere around the apartment not to mention cats everywhere and no where to park and on top of that office staff was no help u paid a fee late and they told me I was going to evicted but I was only late by 2 days and explained to them I was waiting on my work check they weren't helpful at all. Don't come live here the management and staff are awful and have no knowledge of the lease they went over with you and lead to sign in so over this I can't wait for my lease to be up in six month so I can say good Riddance !!!”
— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“I stayed here for two years... It flooded during hurricane Harvey. Cleaners sprayed water into my apt filling my with water one day co call cleaning the doors & outside, mold issues, mice was found in my apt. Property manager is very unprofessional! They hire ILLEGAL & ALLOW ILLEGALS to LIVE there undocumented. Management knows & turns her head,”
— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“I have kept my former positive review below, so that those that read will know my initial support for this property. I can no longer give a positive review, based on the performance of the staff since then. For three weeks, something has been living in my chimney. Possum, raccoon, I don't know. But the apartment has done nothing to remove it. They won't even return my messages. I even provided them contact people for Animal Control...and nothing. They don't care...or the ones that do have no power to do anything outside of basic maintenance. It took this apartment complex 7 months to rebuild after Hurricane Harvey. We were staring at studs for almost that entire time. Seriously...why move somewhere where no one cares? We had terrible neighbors until recently. They would have loud, violent fights right outside our door. At least the apartment stepped up that time. I don't know if I would count on it in the future. Previous Review (June 2017) Pro- A very quiet community, though I suppose I could just have good neighbors. I have yet to need to file a noise complaint in the last 2+ years. Most maintenance requests are handled promptly. Really understanding regarding my Siberian Husky (who would lose a fight to a chihuahua, but is a breed that some complexes refuse). Rate didn't change for me when I renewed in February, so most of the comments I have seen regarding a rate increase may be old. Con- Parking can be a hassle, as there just aren't enough spots to go around. There are literally 6 total visitor spots, and often times visitors will park in resident parking...sometimes they are towed, but sometimes not. There are a lot of spots along the sidewalks that are low lying, so you will soak your shoes during days of heavy flooding, especially considering that some areas do not cut bushes far enough back from stepping stones left to walk around these areas. Overall I give it a solid rating. I'd bump it up a star if the parking wasn't so much of an issue. so much you can do with a property that size.”
— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“When I first moved in I loved it, my leasing agent Kelsey was so sweet and welcoming and went out of her way to help me with everything as well as other residents that needed help in the office when I was there. I have yet to meet this manager, every time I have gone to the office he was never there or busy, the only time I see him is when the office is closed and he's out taking a smoke break. As time went on, things became very unappealing around the complex, the exit gate has been broken for months now, giving the property a very trashy appeal. The main entrance gate box as well has been broken for months, so don't count on getting a key card when you move in to open the gate, you'll just get a code, but everyone knows it so who knows who's even entering the complex. The office staff does have events for us residents like party's but I would think it's better to spend that party money on things like fixing the gates rather then to buy alcohol and beer for resident functions. Not to mention THE CATS, there's SO MANY street cats all over the property, by the dumpers as well. I can't even walk to my car without having to sho a cat away. I have called and emailed the office about this issue but am continued to be brushed off and ignored. Haven't had to much noise issues here.”

— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“I would like to take the time to recognize the magnolia TEAM and I mean a complete TEAM effort. Starting from Management Jonathan Piche he is very professional friendly always there to help with any questions I may have or to resolve problems. Second is the Leasing agents they are always with a smile when you walk in helps when your having a bad day they are very courteous helpful to fix any things going on with the apartment or just say hi have a nice day makes living at magnolia a great experience. Third the maintenance guys are super fast to fix anything wrong with the apartment and have the complex very clean all the time the pool looks very nice also. I would definitely recommend to my friends and coworkers to live at magnolia grove.”
— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“I have live here for over 3 years & i have been treated very well from the staff, & maintenance personal, it's well maintained & I love the area & the surrounding in the complex, my townhouse is a well groom & maintain home & it was updated when I move in & it's been that way to this day..Mr. Jonathan Piche & staff have & still is the best crew also they care a great deal about their residents & that's very important for the residents to tell right @ home..I hope this staff stay because I have been thru a few in 3 years.. But this staff really cares & it shows..”
— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“The staff is great and the manager Jonathan is very helpful. Yesterday morning I was running late to work. I was trying to take all my trash from this weekend to the dumpster. Jonathan came over to my front door and asked if I needed help. I said yes and told him I was running late. He told me to leave and he would take the trash to the dumpster for me. When I came back this evening from work I realized he took every single bag to the dumpster. This is not the first time the staff does something nice for me.”
— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“I have lived at Magnolia Grove for 2 years now and I am running out of here as soon as I can! When I first moved here everything was very nice, professional and organized. The old office staff with Luella and Erica were who I leased with. The old office staff was amazing and caring. Being a first time renter in college and working they were always helpful and caring. The new office staff I can't say the same. They never answer the phone. I literally call about 7 times back to back just to get someone on the phone. When you walk into the office you aren't greeted or anything. One Saturday I went to pick up a package and waited for 30 minutes in the office without being greeted or acknowledged. This is not the first time it has happened, I have came in multiple times without being acknowledged. The customer service and professionalism is not up to par. The parking is terrible along with towing. I have paid over $600 in towing fees alone in the month of January. My family came down on a business conference and surprised me with an early birthday party. I went home to change clothes I came outside and my car was gone. I had my car towed and went to retrieve it with in an hour and the fee was $300! I had to cancel my entire surprise party to have my family drive to help me get my car out of towing. Ruined my family's plans and my celebration. Recently my mother came to visit and I parked her car on the back fence where visitor parking has always been located and was towed! Now they have signs all over the fence that anyone who doesn't have a permit will be towed. So basically you can't have visitors without them being towed, unless you go get them a temporary pass from the leasing office. I had to pay $300 to get her car out as well. It was my 21st birthday and I had to deal with all of this! When I first moved here a similar situation happened with a friend that visited me and the old office staff got the car out for us with no fee. Now this office has signed a deal with the towing where they aren't allowed to get anyone's car out and the person just has to pay. Now when the maintenance comes to fix anything they leave a mess behind. I have come home and my door was unlocked, living room and bathroom lights were left on, and air conditioning with residue from their services left on the floor. They let anybody move into these apartments now. As far as the apartment you can get better for your money. These apartments aren't built with lighting so you have to buy lamps for your living room and bedroom. There is no storage your only closet is literally your bedroom closet. I live downstairs and I can literally hear every move my upstairs neighbor makes; walking, running water, arguing. The pest control has been good I haven't had issues with that. I haven't had issues with break-ins or robberies at this complex either. It is a very quiet complex. If the old staff was still here I would consider staying, but I have never been so frustrated as a resident. This complex once had a standing 4 star reviews and ever since the new management has come everything has went down the drain. Do yourself a favor and find a better place to live.”
— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“I recently just moved to the property & I'm not that happy. My expectation where a little too high I guess. The quality of the turn around on the apartment was horrible. Coming from someone who works in the apartment industry, I expected the condition of the apartment to be SOMEWHAT like the model if not close to it. The blochy paint on the walls, the stain on the carpet upon move in, the electrical outlet that need to be covered, the paint missing off the restroom cabinets, not to mention there was a odor coming from the fridge. Instead of taking time out to completely resurface the tub, they used a totally different color paint to try to correct the peeling of the paint on the tub. The parking is HORRIBLE! They have a total of 10 to 8 parking spots for visitors for the entire complex. I understand cutting down on unwanted/ unwelcome issues that properties have but only 10 spots out of however many units on the property?!? That is ridiculous. I have also noticed that some of the people that are parking in the visitors spots are residents that save parking for their family or friends. I was told by one of the residents that any friends/family that come visit you have to park on the street behind the property which is nowhere close to the entry of the complex. I haven't had time to reach out to the property manager because I work the same hours as he/she but I will be taking time off to discuss all of my issues. If I need to take it further, I will. As of now, I don't think this is somewhere I will refer to ANYONE!”
— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“My Wife and I really enjoyed our time here. Really became a home away from home for us. It was always manicured and professional. Luella Washington was amazing!!! She was always prompt, with a can do attitude, and made the whole experience pain and stress free. I would recommend Magnolia Grove to a friend and/ or family member as long as she is working there because I know they will receive top notch service.”
— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“Me and My husband have lived here about I know over 8 years we could not see ourselves living anywhere else its live a special gift from God. Threw the years we have always been treated with kindness and respect with everybody in the office from managers on around we all are more like family instead of friends. If the community have a problem no matter what the problems gets solve in a timely matter night or day we love everybody no matter where we stay. the whole community except one another cats dogs, fish fun, fun, fun safe and respectable living God bless the whole wide world.”
— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“My boyfriend and I recently moved here from Louisiana. I was extremely nervous due to horrible experiences with aprtments in the past, but Luella, Erica and Rashonda are AMAZING. They are very informative and professional. The neighborhood is located by everything you will need and the apartment are very spacious and nice! Although we've only been here a few days, we love it so far. We've even got a chance to speak with a tenant that's been here for 4 years and she's pleased. I recommend this property 100%!”
— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“Just moved out of the two bedroom apartment. My experience here was okay. The only things is that there aren't a lot of children and considering I have three they never had anyone to play with. Other than that it's okay..”
— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“I find the office staff at Magnolia Grove to be very friendly, helpful and cooperative.”
— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“Okay place to live parking is a little tight but I like it here.”
— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“Not enough parking spaces for resident visitors. People vehicles are being towed constantly for no apparent reasons if park in uncovered parking but only spaces available. Residents pay rent each month but being treated like adolescents. I will not be renewing lease. Stray cats are everywhere, on residents vehicles.”
— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“I was skeptical about the reviews of this place. Theses apartments were one of the ones on my list to visit, to see if it was suitable for my family and I. I must admit the ladies in the office are extremely nice and pleasant. The apartments are nice and I would love to live there, but there were no 3 bedrooms on property. I checked out the ones across the street but the prices were a little out of my price range. I would recommend this place.”
— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“I have lived at Magnolia Grove for about a year and while I enjoyed it at first, I do not now. The space for the rent price is reasonable, the commute to work is wonderful, and the office staff especially Luella are so nice. It wasn't until a few months things went down hill. The parking at the complex has gotten so bad to where people are driving around 20 + minutes after a certain time waiting for a spot to open or taking the chance and parking in a tow zone. Its pretty crappy that you pay rent but are not guaranteed a spot unless you pay the extra 35$ a month for covered parking. What are you supposed to do? I witnessed a lady and dog get attacked by a pit a few weeks ago and I am not overreacting. This dog took a good chunk out of the other dogs back and was bleeding severely. The lady also got bit in the process of trying to grab her dog and her hand was infected from the bacteria in the dogs saliva. I have noticed a few other pits that live in the complex and have been on edge ever since that incident. It was then this morning the cops were called out to get one who had been walking around alone in the complex. It was frightening everyone it walked up. Not saying that particular one was aggressive but if you have animals or children you have to have your guard up. Lastly I have talked to a new lady in the office twice who is flat out rude and I found out she is the new manager. I will not be resigning my lease.”
— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“I'm Kenneth and I currently reside in Magnolia Grove.Friendly office staff. These ladies are the most understanding and compassionate set of ladies you will ever have meet. So, far so good here, come and check them out for yourself you wont be disappointed.”
— 12601 S Green Dr · Houston“I sincerely like it here the price range for rent is great. The complex is real quiet ,neat , clean , any concerns there is they fix it in hours ...
