“I like this community for its central convenience, lovely 5 acre area to walk dog, nicely designed apartments. Apartments have good appliances and upgraded floor to vinyl plank. Maintenance team is awesome and so pleasant. This is the second time I have chosen this apartment community. I left in 2021 returned in 2025!”

“Relatively quiet and safe apartment community with nice amenities. Apartments have high ceilings, bay windows, archways and other architectural features. Pool is beautiful - looks more like a resort pool than an apartment complex pool.”

“Nice, quiet community. Great location near buffalo bayou park. The units are nice with wood panel flooring throughout the main living area. There are package lockers which is nice and i haven't had any issues with. There's a pool area and business center”

“Great Location but Needs Upgrading. The rent continues to soar but upgrades aren't being considered. The parking garage needs attention as the parking spaces are narrow and leave little room to actually get out of your car! Parking sticker violators need to be looked into as well. Towing should be enforced for those who do not park in visitor parking.”

“Left Bank is a charming apartment complex with great bang for your buck. The office and maintenance staff are friendly, helpful, and on top of everything. It is also worth nothing that this is probably the most dog friendly and accommodating complex in the entire city of Houston. My partner and I have very much enjoyed living here and have recommended it to all of our friends when apartment searching. The only drawbacks are the busy road it's on and not-so-thick ceilings which may or may not be issues depending on where your unit is located. All-in-all, this is a five star property.”

“Community feels safe, comfortable, quiet yet lively. Close enough to the active community at buffalo bayou park and memorial park, but nestled away for quiet retreat. Apartments are clean, updated, and in great condition with a touch of elegance. Property feels somewhat serene with an ambiance of professionalism. Staff and community have an air of approachable momentum that strikes the balance I was seeking. Glad I found this hidden gem.”

“This place is beautiful and in the city but is secluded. Beautiful amenities and great staff and maintenance team. I love it here if you are looking for an apartment i definitely recommend checking this one out!”

“Good experience, but did not have availability on single floor with 3 bd rooms. They had one town home but it did not have balcony space, felt like closed enclosure, rest of the amenities are good. Pool is awesome.”

“Left Bank is an attractive, well managed apartment community, located in a centrally located, very popular area in Houston. I am looking forward to making it my home in Houston, at least until my retirement.”

“Great staff and amenities, clean and great location to memorial park and access to nice restaurants, clean pool, clean gym, nice dog walking park. The parking garage is a little tight for my truck but overall this is 5 start community.”

“Great location on the banks of Buffalo Bayou between River Oaks and Memorial Park, I like the European feel. Vanessa was very helpful providing tour a couple of different floor plans and all the amenities, without an appointment. The large area in back for dogs to walk is a definite plus for dog lovers. I like the recently installed vehicle chargers. Great value, reasonable fees, though some signs of aging, built in 2000. No follow up required at this time.”

“Great location, ease of access to downtown and surrounding neighborhoods. The apartment is clean. Overall, the complex and amenities are older, so that should be considered if someone is looking for a resort style pool and updated fitness centers. There is a lot of space for dogs, but a lot of big dogs that are not on leashes that are allowed to roam far from their owners from this complex and the apartments next door.”

“Mostly positive but the floors and ceilings are thin so we hear people walking above us and people below us hear us walking. When you remodel I recommend putting in a lawyer of sound absorbing padding under the laminate.”

“A quiet, calm community. Safe neighborhood. Friendly and helpful management and maintenance staff. This apartment complex is clean and tidy. The apartments are well equipped. The park is close, public transportation is good.”

“I had a great experience touring this community. The front office staff was kind and very helpful. I toured a couple different floor plans and was able to see all of the amenities at the property. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. I think the prices were very fair.”

“In the Houston area in 2021 and 2024 for medical treatment at MD Anderson. Temporary housing was needed and we found The Left Bank at River Oaks to be a good location with nice common grounds. Many conveniences are located in the immediate area.”

“The property is beautiful & backs up to the Bayou! Very peaceful & quiet! The pool area was beautiful and very inviting! Accessibility was quick from 610 or I 10! I am a realtor in Houston, Texas & for over two decades - I actually was looking for myself and very impressed with their townhomes!”

“My name is Patsie Lockett with Findit Apartment Locators. I recently was helping a great customer who was very specific about his apartment needs. I began working with the manager Laura there at first contact. When I called to check availablity, Laura answered the phone. (It is very rare, in my 24 years experience in locating, that a manager answers the phone). I had several questions for my client and she professional and kindly answered each one. I called my customer to update him and he had even more questions. So I called the property again, Danisha answered the phone and put me right through to Laura, when I asked to speak with her. Laura was pleasant and friendly and helpful again. She was bending over backwards to accommodate my customer so he went to the property to tour the next day. He was greeted promptly when he arrived for his appointment. He said the leasing agent that toured him was very professional and helpful. He decided to go home and do the on line application for the apartment. During the application process, my customer decided to change apartment locations and the office quickly did this for him. I called them several times with several more questions from my customer. They answered the phone EACH time, accommodated my customer's request EACH time. He was very impressed, as was I. He will moving in today and he is so excited. Laura is simply amazing. Her staff, all of them are professional and very friendly. I will certainly be referring to this property again! It is a good value for the prestige location, the staff is amazing, I have been a locator for over 24 years and this is by far one of the most pleasant experiences for me and my customer is totally pleased. I will let my fellow colleagues know how well I was treated and how happy my customer is with their service. Great Job Left Bank. You deserve a 5 star rating!”

“Has gone down since Hurricane Harvey. This used to be a true luxury community, and since the storm in '17, some questionable people have moved in and after a violent domestic violence incident last week, I feel even less secure. This used to be a true haven in the city, now I'm not even able to get in touch with Winther Investments, who owns the property. It goes to a voicemail every time I call, and they haven't been responsive to my needs.”
