My patio is huge and I sat outside and enjoy the view. Everyone in the office is so kind. The office always giving resident functions which I enjoy. Gives me a chance to get to know my neighbors. I had breakfast there one day at the office absolutely divine with the best coffee. I encourage folks to live here for good location and great leasing agents.”

I had maintenance issues i.e. 3 months after I moved in my kitchen counter was unlevel and split inside corner where sink is. I had put in several requests to get it fixed. Told me that he would have contractors come and measure. No one ever showed, and numerous other situations that required maintenance help would take extra days to accomplish a broken issue. So after 2 years of my residency ACM T.M. was no longer in charge is wonderful. Then we have a new ACM {Apartment Community Manager} C.B. step in to replace previous ACM T.M. when C.B. stepped in when things in community was a little disruptive, was getting community involved to help improve the neighborhood. C.B. has employed some fantastic leasing agents. That will invite all newcomers, and help the current residents to a wonderful KC's neighborhood at Belmont Place Lafontaine I LOVE my neighborhood community because of the knowledgeable staff for creating a family friendly cozy community”

They listen to you and not treat you like your just money to them like most apartments. Everything works and they keep things maintained. The community is great too surrounded by family and no drama. And the best part is that its RIGHT off the beltway and close to I-10 and Westheimer so you can't lose. Everything you ever want and need!”

We now have a beautiful Gazebo where I entertain my family and friends. It's great but not only that the location is great and I am close to commute easily to my job, right off the beltway 8. I appreciate all the help the staff has done for me. I had a maintenance issue but they repaired my a/c within 24 hours. I LOVE IT HERE AND I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS HERE!!!”

If you are thinking about renting from here please don't just go see an apartment when the office is showing you! Drive through the parking lot after hours and especially on the weekends. Trash all throughout the place its like no one can put the trash in the dumpster. People outside loitering and drinking... pit bulls and other dogs running around without a leash, people bar-b-quing on their patios against city parking i have to park out on the street by the school and I live near the office. Some people have about 4 cars parked right by their apartment and I a 59 year old woman get off at 11pm and I have to park by the school. I don't mind walking I walk 5 miles a day its just why should they have all the parking; how did they get the stickers for parking? Like I said beware it is horrible and the only reason I have stayed is because of money but now I don't care I can't take it anymore I don't care if I have to stay in a hotel or a shelter. Think about it and look around after hours yes there is a gate but it is always open or you can follow another car in. Check it out on the weekend and after hours. The cops will even tell you its a dangerous place to live.”

We now have active rainwater dripping into our living room, guest room, master bedroom, and master closet. We have been fighting with management since December to fix our leaking roof, to no avail. The inside of my apartment has a musty odor, indicative of mold growth in the damp drywall. When maintenance came by, the guy literally PAINTED over the wet dry-wall. I alerted the office, they told me that the paint was significant enough. Since then, brown liquid drips through the roof, every time it rains. I cannot have guests because of this; I am so embarrassed. I have reported all of this to the Better Business Bureau. Graffiti now covers to front entrance sign (I attached a picture as proof), children play soccer in the parking lot between parked cars (which is a danger to them and to drivers), I there are children EVERYWHERE, running around barefoot. Burglaries and shootings are very common, especially now that school is out for the summer. Empty beer bottles, used diapers, dog feces, and trash are the most prevalent features of this property. The rent night deposit box was robbed several times, so now there is no drop box for that (there is NO online payment option). I should have looked closer at this property before renting. For your own health and safety, please heed my warning and look elsewhere. Good luck.”

Any problem I had has been addressed within one to two days. The apartments have been renovated. They are very appealing inside and the apartments are huge. I have nothing but positive things to say about this complex. I hope it is a place I can call home for many years.”

Over 4 months, management and staff have changed 3 times!! There is zero communication between management and residents about change in staff or hours etc. At a previous apartment complex we lived in, we were always notified in writing about all changes, and that helped us feel like a community, rather than just finding things out by chance! Things weren't getting done because managers were changing all the time, and it seems they weren't passing on the work to the next staff member! Apartments were not in the best condition when we moved in; paint not finished, not very clean... we got tired of complaining we ended up doing the majority of the work ourself. Very very strange. I am surprised a company such as JRK is allowing this to happen. My feeling is that top management at JRK aren't even aware of the messy situation at Belmont Place! If you plan to move in, be very picky about the condition of your apartment at move in. This would be a great place to live had it been better managed! It's such a waste that a beautiful property is not taken care of.”
