“A peaceful environment with great office and maintenance staff. I have not experienced any crime on the property at all. Our community is completely surrounded with convenience shopping and restaurants. I am a very satisfied tenant.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“Move in was easy and smooth with no problems. I love the neighborhood and community as a whole, it's quiet and peaceful. The cons I would say is the parking, duck poop everywhere, and my roof leaking in my bedroom when it's raining and it's been a week or so since I've let them know and I was told someone was going to come to fix the roof but no one has came yet. But so far besides that it's been people good. I have plenty more time to see.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“The application process was fast, but I felt like it was made harder for me to get in even after being approved. I felt like they were looking for reasons to deny me. That put a bad taste in my mouth from the start.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“I was a previous resident and went to a different community. I left for a number of reasons, but those reasons seem so irrelevant at the moment. I returned to this community because I missed the ease of the community, and the great staff that helped with all of my needs.”
“The office personnel is friendly and helpful. We have always been treated with respect. All maintenance requests have been taken care of quickly. The property is quiet and convenient to shopping, dining and access to Terry Hershey Park.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“Nice place to live Haven't had any issues the only thing went work out and treadmills don't work other than that very nice place to live love my town house it feels like I live in a house and nice class working people”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“Very quiet community. Great neighbors in a great neighborhood. There is no loud music or people hanging out in the parking lot. My truck was broken into but that was a one off situation. Although lately there have been too many young black people moving in, which I don't like.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“The community is peaceful and everyone minds their business. There is always parking space for vehicles which is good. Maintenance requests are always timely and the office staff have always been polite and professional. It would be nice though if at least 2 swimming pools in the complex. The one that exists is pretty small and not deep enough.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“APT: 1715 Cell: From the first week of moving into my apt I have had water backup issues. I believe they knew this apt had issues but it was never told to me before renting. Seems when other tenants in the building flush things down the toilet that should not be flushed it causes water backup in my bathroom. The plumbing issue seems to be under my apartment and the pipe outside start to overflow and waste rises up with toilet paper and other things come up. The water backup also occurs in my bathroom but the water comes from the floor and the tub. Also if you pull the welcome mat from my front door you will see water always coming from the wall. I had to buy 3 big welcome mats to cover it up and to soak up the water. Something with the plumbing is not right under this building. This water backup occurs at least every 2 months. I still decided to renew my lease because moving would be to expensive. Unless I could transfer to another apartment that does not have this issue without having to redo an application and credit check. Also my bedroom window leaks water when it rains very hard. I keep a towel under the window at all times. I wish the trash was picked up more then it currently is. sometimes it overflows and trash bags are left outside and not in the garbage disposal”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“When I first moved into the complex I was very satisfied. As of present , it's always an issue with the water boiler , the pool and constant issues with the gate. You walk outside of your complex to be greeted with mounds of dog feces throughout the grass. The dumpster area is always overflowing with trash and debris. The office staff aren't as friendly as they used to be and hardly available. My opinion over the 4 years in the complex has changed drastically.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“These are probably one of the nicest apartments I lived in on the southwest area. Very nice they have their own Amazon box. The pool was nice as well. Everything was kept clean. The maintenance man were on time and everything was great. I love this property. It was quiet and the apartment layout was pretty nice pretty decent.. my only issue was the office ladies which is always a problem with every complex the office managers are just so rude and non-caring other than that it’s a a great complex”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“At first my unit had a record of flooding history. I notified the office several times and finally after 5 months they react to try fixing the problem. On the positive side I like the area location and it's very quiet.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“Been here for 18 years that is something to be said in itself. Staff members are great maintenance is great. What more could you want This is a two block street so pretty safe Pool is beautiful and grills are great”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“This is a good, low-key complex. The staff is friendly and the grounds are well-maintained. The location is nice also, tucked onto an off-street but close to to businesses and entertainment. I definitely recommend.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“It's not at all what I expected. Noisy neighbors and limited parking with no resolution may be fine for some, but I can do without. Other than that, the staff responds to maintenance requests in a timely manner.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“The apartments are very clean and well kept. The ladies in the front office are friendly and helpful. Maintenance does a wonderful job with requests and they have always been quick. The apartments are quiet; residents are friendly and keep to themselves. The pool and gym are always clean. The ducks that frequent the apartment are friendly and adds such an amazing touch.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“Thank you for sending this survey. I really like the service that your staff provides, they are awesome. I have zero issues so far. The only item that I noticed is that during the weekends, the community abuses throwing too many bags of trash. It will be a good idea to have some cameras in that area.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“If you are anxious to be treated rudely and like you are an imposition, by all means visit here. The young girl at reception was completely lacking in manners, courtesy, friendliness . She has zero people skills and should never be in the position of being the first person with whom you come in contact. If she isn't a granddaughter of the owner, I cannot imagine why she was hired. Needless to say I will not rent there and would not recommend the Silverado based on interacting with her.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“Overcharges unsuspecting residents. Glad I have been paying a fraction of the amount for the same services in other places since I left. I have requested an explanation multiple times and did not receive a response or an explanation. They say they will use a collection agency or other means when they are asking to pay money on time, but they refuse to respond when asked about an explanation for the charge. Stay here if you want to always be on guard about being charged for more than an honest amount and never receive a response or an explanation for it.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“Nadia was a great leasing consultant, she got all of my paperwork in all in one following day. I submitted my application on a Friday and was able to move in that following Tuesday, when I had a problem with my AC unit, maintenance came to my apartment within 20 minutes. The grounds are well kept and there are hardly any alley cats. The apartment community overall is great, no noisy kids screaming, cussing, or running outside my unit.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“It's a very quiet community. The first couple months here has been very good. The office staff are very courteous and do their very best to resolve any issues you may have. The pest control and maintenance is very active and grounds are well-kept.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“Nice apartments tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Moderately priced compared to other apartments in the area. Terry-Hershey park is just a stroll down the road. Staff is nice and landscaping looks great. Maintenance is pretty fast. Parking can be a problem some days, although most of that may have been because of the holidays. There were quite a few water shut-offs in the last couple of months, but they were working on putting in new piping and raising the foundation of some of the apartments. I believe that's all done now. I think it's a great place to live and very family friendly.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“Can't complain being a Cat 5 Hurricane nearly took this place to Atlantis under the sea. Natasha is the community manager and has been great since I moved here a few days after the Hurricane (Harvey). The Hurricane damaged the leasing office and the lounge along with the fitness center and the card machine (to which to need for laundry). I didn't have a card and last week I was told I can go to the apt. community next door to get a Laundry Card. I just took my stuff to the laundry mat a few minutes away. I am pleased with my apt. I had one issue with a cabinet door and it was fixed in a few days. I figured it would have taken longer, but was pleased it didn't. I moved here from Los Angeles and I am happy I chose Silverado as my first place here in Houston. The community is quiet and I know people say parking is a mess. I think that only applies to the very front of the complex. I am half way to the back and nearly park in the same spot everyday, if for no other reason but its available.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“My main dislike is one of the staff members, Claudia. She seems impatient and careless, basically like she hates her job. Talks to people likd they're stupid in response to their question.. other than that apartments are great for the price, beats other in memorial area.”
— 1335 SILVERADO DR · Houston“They have one good and respectful maintenance man. Other than in front, the landscaping and trees have been damaged badly. A yard that used to get watered has been ignored, grass that was there was sheared off to ground level killing it off turning it into a dustbowl when it's dry and a mud hole when it's wet. Shrubs have been turned into twigs with leaves on top, beautiful ferns turned into little balls of green. A few years ago, painters killed four trees pouring paint residue at their bases. One fell over because the drainage was blocked by a new fence. Another was removed because someone poured chemical waste at it's roots. They just turned beautiful tree'd foliage all over the place into tree stumps 25 feet up, Tree number 7 is now dead. If they don't like trees, what are they doing here? This part of town is a forest. They removed a fence that allowed a view of a pond and fountain and replaced it with a 10 foot wall that blocks the view. No reason to walk back there anymore. Good neighbors, usually quiet.”
