They keep repairing 30 year old appliances instead of using ones made in this decade. I've paid enough rent to have all new kitchen appliances. I'm still waiting on a new gate remote that doesn't look like it was made in the 70's after asking for one 3 months ago. The assistant manager can't do anything without asking permission from her superiors. The grass mowing company is mediocre at best. They mow the grass one day and leave all the trimmings until the next day to pick up. They don't pick up fallen limbs and pine straw or kill the weeds growing in the parking lot. Multiple units have bbq pits, shades, curtains, etc on their patio that are supposed to be banned after a threatening letter was sent out but nothing has happened. One neighbor redid his whole patio with a swing, trees, lanterns, and other decorations like he owns the place. Another neighbor has a ceiling to floor curtain that makes the place look trashy. The last property manager communicated with us what was going on and long term plans for the property. She left when covid was just starting and the new one hasn't introduced herself nor sends out emails communicating what's happening around the property. Go somewhere else with modern amenities and staff who gives a damn.”

I wish i could have given you Zero Star. Beware for the trap of giving an excellent rate on joining or renewal of lease and then taking concession back on official lease breakage. I am the current tenant from the last 4 years stayed in different units. I have given 60 days notice because of job loss due to COVID and no choice left with leaving country. I have to stay 60 days without job with no income or pay them 60 days rent upfront with an additional lease breakage charge of $903. i tried multiple times to discuss about help on reletting charge/lease breakage charge at least in this difficult condition but they refused to help me for single penny. On top of it now today they disclosed to me that I have to pay back concession which they gave me during lease renewal. ( Basically, they increased $55 on previous rent and then showing $108 more compare to market and giving discount during renewing the lease to attract tenants). Basically TRAP!! Because they will never tell you in verbal just for letting tenants know. So they can get some more money in future. They never told us about this kind of change when they took over this community. They are saying it is in the paper. They are ready to help to any extent. Trying to put everything on paper but never told about new changes with new management compare to old which was way nicer than current. BEWARE, future tenants. I am sure you can get a better community with customer-friendly management with nicer deals around and services. Don't get trapped with them.”

Now every time I call I get nothing but attitude from the management team (all except Jennifer the assistant manager who goes above and beyond). Isabel the manager is rude and seems extremely incompetent for the position she holds. Since Nov I have been calling the police, office staff and courtesy officer almost every single day with NO RESULTS. I was told I would need to pay to move into another apartment and that my lease could not be broken for any reason. You pay for trash pick up and at least 1-3 times a week the trash is not picked up. Cars has been broken into and there was recently a hit and run right in front of my building. The gate does not work the majority of the time and when u move in the apartment is halfway cleaned. I should have known then. The walls are extremely paper thin so you can hear an entire conversation from your next door neighbors apartment and if the neighbors above you are circus clowns you might as well forget it! PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE. I was told that the property was recently purchased by a new company and things were much better before. I must admit the management team SUCKS! Please don't look for any results to any problems. Oh and the staff will talk about you as soon as you leave the leasing office if they don't like you or you complain about anything. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE FOLKS DO NOT DO IT”

The only thing was one summer the pool was getting remodled and it was closed for about 3 weeks (majority of summer) when initially flyers that were sent out said it would only be a few days. That's not their fault necessarily but it definitely was a bummer. The company used should have communicated that to the office. On a good note, I have to say maintenance was very prompt, especially Victor! When my ac when out during the summer the ladies in the office told me it would be repaired in 1 to 3 hours which was way better than the last complex I lived in, who took a whole week to fix! I didn't personally have any negative experiences there and was sad when my job relocated me to Miami. All in all if i moved to Houston again I would definitely live there”

I mean saw 3 roaches at least once a day throughout the week. I took a picture of the roaches every time I saw one.... It was ridiculous! They came to spray my house 2x and it still didn't work. The sad part is that I had just moved in Nov. 2015 and I saw them after the first couple weeks I was there. The worst part was starting the microwave and walking away for about 30sec to go do something and I came back and it was a Roach crawling right on top of the Microwave.... I haven't been able to eat or cook anything in there comfortable since that day. Everything I ate came from take out and I ate it soon as I got home and walked the trash to the dumpster literally every night. As for the staff.... Marisol has been the greatest to me and she was very sweet throughout my move and move out process. Everyone else in the office was kind to me as well during my stay. My only problem is the ROACHES!!!!!. Oh and parking is horrible after like 7pm.... so I advise to park early soon after work or you will have to park in the back towards the fence.”

TI have been at Legacy Park Apartments for a year now and have been very pleased with the service I have received during my time here. The units come with a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, and electric appliances. There is also a reasonabley sized gym and pool in the complex. The complex is quiet, safe, and well kept. Maintenance is prompt when it comes to resolving issues; with most issues being resolved on the same day or within a 48 hour period. The office staff has always been very welcoming to me and are always willing to answer my questions and address my concerns. On the otherside, it becomes a little difficult to find parking close to your building late at night but due to the small size of the complex, the furthest parking spot is typically not too far of a walk (nothing to complain about). I have noticed that a couple people walk their dogs and don't dispose of their waste, but since I hardly see the remains afterwards, I believe the complex picks up after the irresponsible owners. I cannot think of any other problems with the complex. The staff at this complex have done an Outstanding job of making my stay a pleasant one.”

Love the garbage valet it really keeps the bugs away this complex is very clean, I have never exterminate and never seen a bug in my apartment . If you are considering live here is a great choice! This is, however, overshadowed by some of the residents and lack of security. The entrance/exit gate is jammed open at least twice per month, which is coincidentally when vandalism is at a high. I would recommend parking as close as possible to your apartment, preferably where you can view your car from a window. Vandalism is a bit of a problem and recently, there have been gangs of people smoking pot and trashing the parking lot at night. Police are present sometimes, but not enough to deter the criminal activity. If you want a nice apartment and don't mind a little ------ in your life, Legacy Park Apartments are perfect for you. Just make sure you are fully insured on your vehicle for the multiple insurance claims you will be making due to vandalism by unknown individuals.”

Overall, it's an okay place to live but there is an ongoing problem with vandalism to vehicles in the parking lot and I've noticed a rising in lower-income individuals moving in here which is quickly decreasing the quality. Just the other night there was a woman attempting to sell candles and popcorn and when she knocked on my door and I politely declined, she later returned and vandalized my garbage vestibule. Parking after 5 p.m. is a nightmare but otherwise fine. As for the earlier complaints of water going off with no notice, I have received a notice every time the water has been under maintenance, so that's not an issue. It's a bit loud at times, but I don't know what people expect. This is an apartment building. If noise is an issue for you, buy a house. It also primarily depends on your neighbors. I am unfortunate enough to have a man with T-rex feet living upstairs from me, but that's not the staff's fault. My one main complaint is the staff's inability to keep proper records of outstanding balances, or lack thereof. It's easy enough to clear up but a bit annoying to come home to notices on your door pertaining to things that have been paid that you have to clear up with the office. A little afraid that one of them is going to misplace a file and I'm going to come home from work to a locked apartment after office hours. Ladies, learn basic bookkeeping. 7/10. Rating will probably go down if they keep letting the ------ people in.”

No pest problems. No insects. No drama. I've even fell behind on my rent a few times and management has been more than gracious every time. Can't imagine living anywhere else right now. Me and my kid are very happy here. This will be home for as long as things remain the same. Great big shout out to the leasing office staff and management bc I don't know about anyone else on here but you've made my experience at Legacy Park an enjoyable and stress free one. You friggin' rock! Stay motivated and positive and continue to smile. Just know you can't please everyone all the time. Tell your naysayers to put in their notices if they're so miserable and free up some units for more easy going residents who appreciate what you do.”

The apartment was very clean and despite a little confusion in the beginning, staff was very helpful and nice. Neighbors are friendly so far and didn't complain about us being noisy during our move (which is awesome considering we moved in pretty late). Parking so far has been ok, can be a little bit of a hassle if you get home late but that's expected. Although we haven't been here long, our experience has been a great one thus far.”

There may be a member or two on the management and maintenance staff who are professional, amiable and truly consider the well-being of their residents, but there are several who work in management, there, who are neither professional, nor courteous. My daughter moved to Legacy Park Apts, 2nd floor and within a week, the place had to be fumigated. It was the last week of August,2012, when she moved in, and discovered the ants, immediately. After an initial spraying, her apt remain infested. She had a young child and both my daughter and grand daughter were bitten numerously. My daughter called to report the problem had not been taken care of, and her apt was sprayed again, after just 10 days, living at Legacy Park. During her first 10 days, her refrigerator didn't work, and had to be repaired, which took virtually all day for the worker to do, to procure parts, and go out and buy another part, and to install it. He made two trips out and it took a matter of several hours to fix the refrigerator and another day to get cool. You will not see ants, when you are shown an apt, naturally, but once you set something down, that has any traces of food, in it, within 15 minutes, you will see, just what ants can do! I spoke to some neighbors about the infestation, and one man told me, he had been living there for five years and he has his apt sprayed monthly at his own expense. If you move into Legacy Park Apts, you will have to pay a fee for spraying and you will have to pay often!!! One resident told me he had lived in the apt that my daughter was residing in, before my daughter and he had moved out, bc of the prolonged issues with ants in the apt. He had a first floor apt, he liked and didn't complain that the ants were a problem, for him as much as before. It may seem inexpensive place to live, but there are managerial issues, unfriendly, unwelcoming staff, who lack professionalism, compassion and introspection! Beware to anyone thinking that the price is fair, for you will end up paying to live there, more than you imagine, and the management is the worst I have experienced in my life! Legacy Park Apts has not even risen to a D- and will only do so, when it gets rid of the nasty staff, who are hired only to walk the runway, but nevermind if you ask a favor, for someone to open a door, just in case, you are elderly, or disabled or wheelchair bound! AVOID LEGACY PARK!!! and btw, do be sure to keep your inspection stickers up to date, bc, altho, they tell you that security does not issue tickets, it happens, parked in your own spot, so if you're late or laid up in a hospital and your sticker expires, expect no corner of mercy, at LP!”

They are very good apartments .We live in the one bedroom right now but we are moving into the two bedroom and two bath in a month. And it has been so smooth here !!! The apartment is extremely pet friendly and does allow big dogs. Which is rare in apartment living. Parking could be better but they have started giving parking pass to the residents, which seems to be helping. My husband and I sit on our patio at night and we hardly hear any noise. You don't hear people fighting or yelling!To be honest the only noise I hear at night is people getting home from work or walking their dogs. We had a problem with our light when we first moved and we brought it up with the apartment manager and the next day the maintenance man was out there fixing it ! Another thing is the maintenance man took his shoes off at the door and was like "I don't want to get your floors dirty" To me that was extremely impressive because he actually cared and was so professional !!! I mean I have wood floors and he was still insisting on taking his shoes off .I love how they treat you here and I love it here and its nice place to live .We plan to stay many years”

I've lived in plenty of apartments and let me say, you will not find customer service like you do at Legacy Park. I've never had an issue with noise and the grounds are always kept nicely. Crime has gone up in the area but find a place in Houston that doesn't have any issues and let me know. I've also attended a few of their crime prevention meetings in the past and you can tell that the staff truly cares about the place. The construction is a bit older but they keep up with it very well. The staff is always friendly and professional, maintenance is always fast and they truly go out of their way to help you. Overall, it's a great place to live if you want a convenient location and a pleasant apartment experience.”

I stay in the they have 1 bedroom and den and 1 and 2 bedroom floor plans and they are very spacious. The 1 bed and den has high ceilings and a huge living room making it look even larger. The 2 bedroom has french doors that give it charm. The office staff has always been helpful with every issue I have had, even after the staff has changed throughout the years. It was bought out by a new company and it still manages to attend to needs. Issues that have occurred in my apartment have been handled very quickly usually the same day that the order was put in. Never had any major apartment issues, just things like light is out, microwave handle broken, air not as cool as usual and broken blinds. OKAY so the negative that I will give is that the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”
