“2 year resident. The beginning was great. Staff was friendly, things were taken care of in a timely manner, but management changed & everything went down the drain. 1) Management: Simply does not care. Staff is careless with paperwork, billing is never correct, they never respond to emails, & frequently get sassy when you ask for assistance. 2) Security: There are 4 different apps for security, none of which are effective. Your electronic door lock app never seems to know if your place is unlocked or locked. A different app to let you into the building is annoying to scan & half the doors never work anyway, which means anyone can get in if they try 3 doors. Garage gate app is fine, but the gate is broken at least once a week, which leads to uninvited guests able to access cars at their convenience. I have seen windows smashed & property stolen, & personally had my tires & rims swiped (-$3,500). Fetch, the package delivery app, delays your package by a day, & then only drops it off at your door for it to get stolen by whoever sees it first. 3) Residents: Most are loud & irrespective of others' personal space. Music is always blaring, weed & cigarette smoke permeate the hallways, and cars charge into the garage assuming no one is around the corner. 4) Health concerns: Most closets smell of mold. Bathroom, bedroom, pantry & entry closets. All of them are musty. 5) Disposal: Every resident I've met has to flip the breaker on each time they want to use the disposal. That gets mildly annoying. I will say, the place looks modern. Amenities are great, pool, gym, mail room. Appliances in the room work great as well. If you'd like to constantly go down to the front desk to have them reissue your correct rent, don't care about property theft, or look to be woken by loud neighbors, this is the place for you!”

The Apartments are super clean & have an amazing structure with a very nice pool & gym. Was shown multiple units within the apartment complex and would definitely recommend individuals to come check them out for future residency.”

I like how many things can be controlled through our phones like the gates and doors and deliveries. Overall, I would definitely recommend to anyone.”

I still do not have any hot water. The apartment did not a thermostat installed. To be updated on information, I have to go to the leasing office, no one reaches back out to me regarding updates. I feel as if the apartment could have been expected and cleaned more before I moved in for an easier move in process.”

I would the office staff would be more proactive on issues with the property. Not move at a snails pace. Not to me personally but issues around the property. There are lots of smokers now as well. The dog park has become a smokers spot.”

They do not clean their pet poops, they make lots of noise, they do not care about the cleanness of this newly made building. Please look at people faces, the way they talk ,their outfit, their personal cleanness as a person, and their appearance before making any contract with them. You deserve to have the best residents.”

They use to vacuum the hallways, mop, and sweep up the leaves that may have blown in to the building weekly it doesn't seem to be the case anymore. With the amount of car break ins i have heard I'm confused as to why we do not have security at this point. Other then that i have enjoyed my time here just wish for more cleanliness and parking security.”

There are several consistent issues: trash/trash chute, smell, pet mess, lack of security, parking/vandalism, broken elevators, noise, etc. Everything you would want to avoid in a "luxury" apartment, Ashford has. The new property manager is probably doing her best to recover from the lack of attention that was given - but at this point, it is too far gone. This place is not worth the rent. Look elsewhere!”

The walls are super then which leads to a lot of unwanted noise from either the top and bottom. The parking garage is terrible. There's always someone not paying attention while they are coming and going through the garage. The hallways have a odor to them. The carpets are rarely cleaned.”

However, the walls are super thin, I can hear my neighbors microwave and phone alarm every morning. The parking garage is not secure. With being right off a major interstate freeway there should be a guard in monitoring the property. We've hadore than 7 vehicles get their tires and rims stolen off their cars and placed on bricks...days after each other. And we are told to take security precautions. How about you all take more security precautions. Other buildings in the area have guards. Do the cameras work? Who knows. There is a door on the outside of the building that is broken and anyone can walk in, their resolution is to place a hunting camera up instead of repairing things, the doors in the garage leading into the building also do not work. Specifically the fifth and sixth floor door closest to the freight elevator. All in the staff is friendly and if you aren't asking them about security they're relatively quick to respond.”

It makes it real difficult for guest. Sometimes both elevators are broke at the same time and that is really a problem when it takes weeks to fix”

The parking garage gate is ALWAYS broken allowing anyone to come in and vandalize any of the residents or visitors vehicles. The staff and management are horribly rude and unprofessional, they make me feel so uncomfortable voicing any of my concerns about the gates being broken, elevators not working, or even our gym that has been closed since December with no updates or communication on when it will be opened. Recently I adopted a new pet and was told that I would be required to pay a one time fee for a DNA swab on my dog, which is nowhere on my lease or on the pet policy!! The manager instead of apologizing and trying to reassure me they are doing everything possible to fix my concerns just argued and made me so uncomfortable.”

If you get an apt facing the pool you may have issues with parties going late into the night during the summer...even past closing time. The parking garage is great although if you work late you may not find a spot on the floor you live on but there are elevators. There has been some car thefts but they have security driving around. I'll be renewing my lease so far it's been good.”

But the door was still hard to open. 2 or 3 days later, the door successfully repaired. 1st report slightly disappointed to me. In this case, 1st report should be the explanation of the situation and advise me when the door will be repaired.”
