“This property is known for being pet friendly which is great for your families! It is a very clean and safe space that is run by a great team. It is also casually located next to the Briargrove park which is great for morning or afternoon jogs which I enjoy very much.”

“I just moved here and I am absolutely happy here , the office and maintenance staff are so nice and very helpful the property is always very nice and quite, also the grounds are always very well kept up. I would highly recommend The Abbey at Briargrove.”

“Kerry and Andrea are friendly knowledgeable and helpful. When you mention any concerns to them they are absolutely "Ready Willing and Able" to take care of it. Any questions feel free to ask Includes "Free Internet " gym and 2 pools. What's not to love???”

“Worst staff in the world! My air conditioner has not run in 4 days in August! Manager assistant manager maintenance pathetic in their attempts to be honest and truthful. I would much rather them said we're not going to fix it. Instead it's been one disaster after another. Do not trust the office. Run. Truly.”

“I have been living here for 3 years and love it. I work late and I get home around 3am everyday and I feel very safe in the complex. Maintenance is really good. They fix everything right the first time.”

“Just moved in and I am beyond satisfied with my apartment. It's beautiful, The complex is very clean and the ladies in the office are very nice. I have a nice park right next door and have access to it from the complex. Love this place.”

“I love this community because is safe and quite. My neighbors are friendly. The maintenance staff is friendly helpful and knowledgeable. The management is very helpful, nice and accommodating. Andrea the new manager is doing an excellent job at taking care of things around the property. She is always nice and friendly.”

“I've lived here since 2009 and the #1 selling point here is that it is SAFE. I have a wife and young daughter and don't have to worry about them being mugged. I want to say that the new manager Lindsay has really come through on many things that put her predecessors to shame. Also had Michelle stay right til 5 when I was coming to get a package. Since some other weekend staff had been prone to leave early I had to give here Kudos in this review. Also she took great pride in helping me. She told me not to rush to get there. A shout out to Keri who has been going the extra mile as several administrations came and went.”

“I've loved living here for the past six years. We did have a manager that was never here and never addressed anything to any of the residents but they've hired a new Manager Lindsay who's Great and Kerry the Assistant Manager has always been Great! The maintenance staff is always on point and any maintenance issues have always been taken care of immediately. I will not be moving anytime soon because I don't think I'll find a place like this anywhere in Houston.”

“I've been a resident here for 13 years and I have nothing but good things to say about The Abbey. The complex is very quiet, clean and maintained very well. The management is so helpful they've walked my dog when and watered my plants when I was out of town. I'm very happy here and will not be moving anytime soon!”

“When I was looking for apartments back in 2014, I visited several of them. It can be frustrating when you're apartment hunting and can't find one that meets your expectations and standards. I was very particular on what I was looking for, and I eventually found it. I love everything about the Abbey at Briargrove Park - the staff, the quick turnaround with maintenance, the quiet ambiance overall, close proximity to restaurants/workplace, etc. I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking to live close to Memorial and/or Galleria. The location is perfect, since it's centrally located and is a short drive to Katy and Downtown Houston.”

“Just right. Right price. Right spot. Not too fancy far from not fancy. Great staff and maintenance so far. Amenities are fantastic and suit my 24/7 job. Suitable for singles, couples, and families. I've met and hung out w a few neighbors I've enjoyed. Nothing bad to say about this place. It is an older complex tucked away in a nice subdivision so it feels very secluded but a block or so away from the beltway. I've visited friends apartments and even town home complexes in other areas and found them not nearly as charming or accommodating. A plus from me.”

“Great location and neighbourhood. Pleasant and helpful office staff. It is a nice and convenient place to live.There is a pool and gym in great conditions.”

“The complex isn't bad, its an older place, pretty quiet and clean. My biggest issue is the parking.... Its basically first come first serve and there is no assigned parking.... there are several cars that have not moved in months, they should probably be towed off of the property..... If you leave at night, good luck finding a spot when you get back.... I've been here for several months, but I am considering breaking my lease..... For what I pay in rent, I should at least be able to find a parking spot and not have to park off of the property if I have to work late.. I've talked to some of my neighbors and they agree about the parking....”

“Small, dark and unkempt property. Views of satellite dishes and weeds. Very old construction - every step of your neighbor's can be heard. Frankly, a dump. Our unit was moldy and filthy when we moved in. Management is so passive as to be nearly invisible. Would never recommend it.”

“We have just moved in at the time of this writing, but the apartment was in good shape, freshly painted. The people who live here appear to be friendly, as is the management. These are 40 year old apartments, so one must not expect the fixtures and the construction to be that of modern luxury apartments, but they have been upgraded, as one sees in the GFCI outlets in all the appropriate places. The appliances work well, even if the kitchen is small. They have maximized space, including closets where they can. We were not willing to pay high end prices, but for a lower end price (for the area) we have an apartment that is decently maintained, in a quiet neighborhood, feels safe, is quiet, and is comfortable. I may be better off than a colleague who is paying 50% more for an apartment not far from this one.”
