— 18100 WEST RD · Houston“The main problem with these apartments are the front office management staff. They are unfriendly, uncaring and unprofessional. I had problems with neighbors dogs yapping and defecating outside the property. When I politely complained, the staff just totally ignored me. They did not even try to suggest they would look into this. However, when they want thier rent money they are quick to contact. I had an instance when the monthly debit set up did not work, which I was not aware of, and after just a few days, rather than send me a reminder they sent me a letter threatening eviction after more than 2 years of on time payments. This was very insensitive and in my opinion poorly handled. This added to other similar stories makes me not want to contact the staff for help and this should not be the case. They should be there to help and support me and for me this is a big negative for these apartments. On the plus side the apartments are well located and I did find the maintenance staff helpful, but not the office management staff.”

It's a quiet community, beautifully landscaped with easy access to a 2 mile trail around the lake for jogging, biking, or fishing. With an attached garage with entry from your unit, full size washer and dryer for laundry, a kitchen with granite countertops with plenty of space and storage, and laminate floors except for a carpeted bedroom, it had all the features I was looking for! With the buildings being around 5 years old, there aren't a lot of maintenance issues. I did have a garbage disposal freeze on me once, which was taken care of quickly and efficiently. The staff are friendly, nice to talk to, and are helpful!”

The rest of the staff is great as well. Very quiet and safe. Love the lake behind the complex and the floor layouts and the garage is a plus. Highly recommend moving here if want to be safe and not a lot of noise. Others might say these apartments are pricey but I don't feel that way, others apartments are about the same or if not more and you don't get the same amenities.”

We loved the location because it was walking distance to the GoForth Park and the walking trail, super close to Towne Lake Board Walk, and lots of grocery stores and restaurants! The staff at WLP are awesome and super quick to respond to any questions you may have. They remember who you are which I though was pretty amazing since it’s a pretty big complex. The amenities are also very appealing! The pool is salt water and has beach access which is great for kids! The gym is nice and has a room where you can set up your own music and do your own workout on a big screen tv! I loved this! The complex does a pretty good job of trying to keep the residents quiet after a certain time so the only noises we heard were from the surroundings of the apt complex! We loved it here! It was clean and well kept. If you’re looking for a great home, you’ll find it here!”

And by anybody that is not racist- ignorance comes in all colors, shapes and forms. I am a melonated person. But I work too hard and do not want to live around trash- PERIOD. With this hurricane, I am curious to see how the leasing office is going to handle residents with checkbooks affected by the storm. Usually rent is due by end of business on the 4th of every month (even on a holiday) but curiously the office was closed entirely today. But then there's supposed to be this on-line payment system of sorts. Not everyone has the benefit of PTO or work industries where you are not paid if you cannot work. In fact, The Houston Chronicle (9/3/17 ran a segment on this: APARTMENTS- 'Storm woes can make it tough for many to pay their rent on time.' The overrated security guard back here could use some work. Looking into my next residence spot once my lease is up bc the crap going on around here is not worth the monthly rent they charge back here. Unless these people can redeem themselves bc they still have the potential to improve this property.”

We leaved here for almost 2 years and we had to find solutions to moving out due to neighbor loudly knocking in the walls, my daughter she became really scared and emotional about this and the WLP office staff did not care on having this taking care of. Seem to me that they are a bit "racist" approach too, because they asked us to move but they did not asked our neighbors to do so as well. Used to be a nice place but looks they are so desperate to rent everything that they are accepting every application, I saw a lot of families with uneducated children, letting them do whatever, I already see their amenities starting to deteriorate. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX (seems nice in the pictures but trust me, does nor worth paying so much) - I AM SURE YOU CAN FIND A LOT BETTER AND CHEAPER”

I chose WLP for many reasons. They are brand new beautiful apartments, proximity and convenience for me was important, but what did it for me were the amazing amenities. The pool is gorgeous with top of the line natural gas grills and covered patio tables. They have a pool table, indoor basketball court, perfect size gym and a theater room, YES! a theater room you can watch your favorite movie or your favorite team play. WLP also has 2 quiet rooms and a good size conference room with a big screen TV, which I used multiple times for meetings and training. Last but certainly not least, the staff at WLP was always very professional, helpful and friendly throughout my entire experience from start to finish. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place in the Cypress area.”

The amenities for us are wonderful and we enjoy them. The management and staff have been excellent here, when ever we have had an issue or problem with our unit they have fixed it the next day. There are families with children staying here but you would not know it, it is relatively quiet plus everyone is very friendly. The Harris county park next door is awesome we go there all the time to walk the dogs or ride bike and fish on the lake.”

I was going to extend my lease but by the grace of the Lord at the last minute the dream house that we've been wanting for such a long time came through. So unfortunately I had to leave this extraordinary apartment complex. I haven't lived in an apartment since 1999 but if I had to do it all over again this is where we come back to. The WLP is outstanding, courteous, professional and very easy to work with, I have nothing but great things to say about them.”

Clubhouse has good amenities (couple of computers, TVs, pool table, shuffleboard, movie theater and study rooms) and is open till 10 pm. The buildings are fairly new (6 months - 2 years depending on the building #). Adjacent park is a big plus if you like to walk or jog. When ever it rains or when they cut grass, there are lot of mosquitoes near the entrance doors and patios. If you are facing the lake it is much worse. btw, you pay a premium of $100 for lake view. You get charged for replacing light bulbs, water filter, remote batteries, etc. Considering the high rents, these should have been included but they are not. The keypad for one of the gates to the park has been broken for a couple of months and hasn't been fixed even after multiple complaints. I have seen some people stuff paper or cardboard to keep the gate open which is a safety issue.”

Strange how I live way back in corner of the property I get noticed within the hour, I get threaten with violations and expensive tickets. Must be because I'm latino. 4 other vehicles next to the office are allowed to park in front of their apartments (Caucasian tenants). If you're white, They let you slide. For months they have parked in front of their garage just like I did once but they still allowed to park there. Same spot as I have. Only difference is that I'm Latino and they're white. No word from management.”
— 18100 WEST RD · Houston“This complex is just wonderful, The staff has always been so polite and courteous and is always going above and beyond the call of duty to assist me every chance they have had over my time here and as a full-time student working two jobs, I can tell you I've probably called on them over my fair share. No matter the time, whether it is the office staff or security guard I have never seen them wield anything but a smile. Tenant noise is almost non-existant which I credit to the new construction and the community of tenants is very friendly. This has been a great place to call home, I'm sad that the time has come to move away!”

I actually feel like I'm home in my apartment! I love everything about it. In the beginning we did have a little ant problem, but because it was extremely hot outside. Of course maintenance took care of it promptly. One thing I do have to say is that I feel like the apartment is fragile in certain areas, for example the faucets and drains. Other than that it is amazing along with the staff which they are absolutely helpful and friendly!!! Did I mention my college is literally a second away from home! Cant get any better than this. These apartments are spacious, private and quiet. Being able to walk from my garage straight into my home is a priceless advantage you can't realize until you get to live it. I have had very few issues since I moved in but when I have had to contact the office they are very friendly and yet professional in correcting the issue quickly.
