“Nice , helpful & friendly staff! Beautiful city & pool views & convenient location. It's typically quiet and has a lot of nice amenities. It's right across from Hermann Park making it convenient ! Some people are friendly but most will not speak lol. For the most part, everyone just lives in their own world. The units have nice balconies and views.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“The concierge and staff is amazing. They made sure the move in process was seem-less. I really love the scenery and watching sunsets and sunrises everyday. It was the best choice thus far. I love my new home”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“Great place with amazing staff!! I felt very welcomed from the moment I walked in the door. The entire apartment complex was absolutely gorgeous, and everything was super clean. Loved everything about this place in the short time I spent there.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“THIS IS A GREAT LOCATION, EASY TO MOVE AROUND TO ALL AREAS OF HOUSTON. STAFF IS NICE AND HANDLES ISSUES AT THE BUILDING AND IN THE APARTMENTS. ALL COMPLEXS HAVE ISSUES BUT THEY ARE ON ISSUES AND HELPFUL. OTHER RESIDENTS ARE NICE AND FRIENDLY. A NICE ENVIORNMENT TO LIVE IN. VERY PROFESSIONAL. AMMENTIES ARE EXCELLENT AND EASY TO GET TO AND USE. COME ON INTO THE BUILDING NICE PLACE”
“The associate ------ has a poor attitude, seems like she is very unhappy being there and doesn't care to answer any of your questions. Very rushed and elevators are in poor condition but with that being said I loved the gym and pool area.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“I love living here, What I love most are the amenities. The gym is always open and has so much equipment. Ive been here since 2023, this is the longest I've stayed at a residence. Of course there are a few maintenance issues but the staff resolves them quickly.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“Allure Hermann Park offers an unbeatable city location with easy access to everything. The amenities are top-tier, and the views are absolutely stunning?definitely the highlight of living here! 10/10 would recommend.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“Awful place to live - don't. Property manager doesn't respond to requests or concerns. Price is absurd for what you actually get and they raise the rent a scary amount every time you want to renew. Amenities are nice and that's about it.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“This community seems to be a real luxury escape with the astonishing views from the TMC, the nice amenities, especially if you are looking for a nice gym. everything looks pretty amazing and the staff is great. I would use update the parcel system for packages”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“Week 1: Entered an Emergency work order on Thursday around 0930 due to the refrigerator water dispenser leaking. Never got a response. It eventually stopped. I had to use 3 towels to soak up and catch all the water. (Maintenance knocked on my door on 1/27/2026 to address this request). Friday, the elevators were extremely slow. Waiting 17min to get on from the parking garage. Coming upon 4 weeks here and the resident experience thus far is lacking and unsatisfactory.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“Very beautiful apartment. Need more maintenance workers, they are understaff and hard to get a hold of. Keegan and Russell are always so helpful ever since I moved in. Also, I have the hardest time trying to pay rent on their Zego app and no one seems to be able to help me.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“I'm in love with my apartment home. However the Staff and management is all over the place poor communication poor consistency. However I'm very patient. No one is ever on the same page and the left never knows what the right hand is doing.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“I felt that this community accurately reflected its online listings through floor plans, amenities, monthly fees, pricing, and friendliness of staff and management. I would definitely feel comfortable renting here.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“Such an amazing community with attentive and professional staff. Several safety features and so many amenities included pool, hot tub, state of the art gym, lounging areas, work stations, outdoor grills. Great location close to everything”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“We had to replace our refrigerator filter and so we put in a work order. The next day, Jorge arrived and was great at his job. Jorge did the job properly and quickly. Really recommended him as he did his job very well!”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“Jorge, the maintenance guy was a great help!!! Came & fixed some issues i had been having with my shower for a while now. He was came the day after I put the request in, he was quick, respectful and very friendly! Thank you jorge!”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“From the very beginning of my move, Mike and Keegan treated me with an unbelievable level of care, kindness, and genuine compassion. They didn’t just help me move in — they truly showed and embodied the real meaning of care, patience, and helpfulness. Every interaction made me feel valued, respected, and supported. Any issue or question I had was met with immediate action. They jumped in without hesitation, went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. It’s rare to find people who care this deeply, and even rarer to feel so genuinely welcomed. I am beyond grateful and so incredibly happy to have found my new home. Everyone here treats me exactly as that — home. Mike and Keegan truly deserve a raise and should be the gold standard for how residents are cared for. They are the absolute embodiment of what exceptional service looks like. I love them, and I love Allure. Thank you for the greatest apartment move-in experience I could have ever asked for and for truly living out the promise that you matter. Highly recommend. Truly admirable. There is truly no place like home.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“I've enjoyed living at Allure so far. The office staff have been extremely helpful and friendly. Requested maintenance was taken care of quickly. The building and amenities are kept clean and nice. Would definitely recommend Allure to friends.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“I like the complex, it is a nice one. However it is not kept clean. The floor is hardly swept and also the Elevator area. Please clean the common area and trash shoot room regularly.. Not presentable. Thank you”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“Everything was a smooth and easy process , the staff is welcoming and friendly. Mike helped with everything . The asst manager met my apt needs. The valet is very helpful and the concierge is the best”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“I absolutely love this building. This building is amazing very clean and modern. I would highly recommend their facilities and experience as a whole . Mike from the leasing team was exceptional and a wonderful person to talk to. He gave me an amazing tour and was very informative about the building. He made me feel at home and very comfortable throughout the whole process great building and even better staff.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“Beautiful property, countless up to date amenities. Just be ready for the leasing office to never spell your name right or correct it after you tell them multiple times. My name is Angel and everything says angela in lower case no matter what I said.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“A great place to place that truly feels like home. I would recommend this community to anyone looking to enjoy a culture filled with great people and good vibes. The allure offers a community filled with lots of amenities, restaurants and good people”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“I love the view the community has to offer. The windows are everything!! The staff is very nice. Parking garage is secure with double gates to ensure no tailgating. I have yet to check out the amenities, but will very soon. Property is very peaceful and gives you a ease of mind.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“I recently had the pleasure of touring the community with Keegan Knatt, and I was very impressed with his professionalism and friendliness. He was extremely helpful throughout the process and made me feel welcome. Although I did not lease at the time of my visit and likely missed out on a great promotion I am very interested in revisiting opportunities here, ideally in early November. This community is currently at the top of my list, especially if a similar rate becomes available. Regardless, I can confidently say that you have an outstanding leasing agent in Keegan, and his excellent service has left a lasting positive impression.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“This review is for 5927 Almeda rd. Not for 5925. They are separate towers. 5927 Almeda Rd. Is the most disgusting place you will ever live in. Nice and fancy from the outside and gross on the inside. Garbage smells are reeking in the hallway, maintance is horrible, Loud neighbors that don't shut up and management doesn't even care. Management is the worst, I am not going to mention any names but that certain someone needs to be fired. I miss gray star. Those were the days before winthrop came and ruined it. I left this hideous place. Be wise, don't sign any contact. They are friendly at first but really they are not and you will see the other face after contract is signed. Good luck and I hope you find yourself a better place.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“I moved to Montage (Mosaic, whatever) just over a year ago. I got in on a good special because I know my unit now goes for much more than what I pay. The rent is on the high end of my budget but it's well worth it. The views are great, parking is never a problem (except for the idiots that tailgate you into the garage but that happens everywhere), management was very helpful recently when I had some personal issues and was late with rent for the first time ever. The good definitely outweighs the bad here. I live in the center of the building right next to the elevators and I never hear them or anything else. Very quiet and a great place to live!”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“Never in all my life have I lived in a place that has a culture of prejudice, hatred and double standard. If you are ----- and have any complaints such as what was promised and not delivered, they evict you by methods of intimidation ie sending cops to your home after a long day of work. Do not live here. They are bankrupt because they dont know anything about treating their residents the right way, the only way. If you are a -------- and are going to complain I advice you to video tape it or take a ----- witness...sadly -------------------------------------. They fire all the good workers who are such and keep the bad ones who are -----. Again, SHOCKED AT THE LEVEL OF PREJUDICE! RE: Anonymous, I can open a dry cleaners and the property value would go up. Go to school and listen, learn and understand. Are you brain dead or just uneducated?”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“The Mosaic at Herman Park is not worth the money and it is not what it is all cracked up to be. It has gone through three different management companies in the last 2.5 years. When they change management companies, the residents never know about it until random things start to change. We don't get newsletters, emails or letters making us aware of the changes and who is running what. Every time the staff changes the residents have to pay for it. The new management team is rude and they are not helpful. Kathy is a b!#@* and John switches around like his $%!# doesn't stink. The concierge and valet teams change every 3 months. Our "Valet" company is a JOKE! Almost every time I walk through the lobby (out or in the front doors) rarely is there a person holding the door open. Isn't that the point of having them and living in a "Luxury apartment" There is never any consistency and stability. They will promise you services that they don't provide. I moved to the property in 2009 and they promised a coffee shop, a wine bar, a convenient store in the retail space and there is no sign of this. They promised secured control access in the garage and elevators, they just made this happen 2 weeks ago. They also promised free work out sessions and activities, still not available. If you want to participate in classes or training sessions in the gym be prepared to over pay and to train with under qualified trainers. The clubhouse is nice, but they have ridiculous stipulations on when residents can use the clubhouse. Be prepared to pay and make a deposit for at least $1000-$2000 to rent the clubhouse. The BBQ grill is never working, the pool lights are always out, and the computers in the 24 hour business center never has ink and paper. FORGET ABOUT YOUR CELL PHONE, it will not work 90% of the time-No SIGNAL. The neighborhood is sketchy. I think when you come to this property you are amazed at how new and nice it is, but once the novelty wears off, you'll notice the kind of people that live and work here are probably not the kind of people you would choose to be surrounded by. I'm not the kind to only write the bad things. I have written previous reviews when I first moved in. Please save your money and time, look around they are plenty of nice apartments.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“They will promise you services that they don't provide.. They say they have fire pits that never worked. They changed the pool and club room hours after making me sign property rules that stated I could use the pool/ club room at anytime. Some of the management are rather rude and gummy. when my air conditioner stop working they didn't fix if for 3 days, this clearly suggests that they don't care. It was very difficult for me to sleep and stay in my apartment because it was to hot.I had to spend 3 nights at a friends place. The BBQ grill was out of order for 4 weeks and they only have One BBQ grill for 396 units. Parking used to be fine but now that people are moving in its getting worse. My friend who moved out of the montage about 5 months ago still didn't get his deposit back and they didn't even attempt to contact him. You will constantly hear ambulances at night heading to the medical center and motorcycles and cars speeding on 288. My friends got stuck in the elevator for a little over 3 hours and the management didn't care to at least give me a verbal apology. FORGET ABOUT YOUR CELL PHONE. It will not work 90% of the time- No signal. look around they are plenty of nice apartments.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“About a month ago we moved to the Montage or Mosaic whichever you want to call it and we LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very attentive staff, always friendly and smiling, willing to help so much that we have yet to bring our own groceries up. Most important to me is the clean swimming pool, gym, common areas etc. I came from another high rise also very new and what a complete nightmare. We are excited to be here if you are thinking of moving here feel free to contact me I am in unit number 21904 you can ask for me at the conciere desk and they will call up. Good luck!! Matthew”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“I have lived here now for a week and love it. It has been everything that I have expected and more. The staff is soooo nice and so are the people that live here. For those of you that think this is a staff member posting, it is not. I moved into 21907 and I love it. I am posting some pictures of my apartment for potential renters that want to see what a 1 bdr looks like with furniture. It was hard to imagine my furniture in there when I was looking so I hope this helps someone else. Edit**Well, I uploaded pictures but they haven't posted yet. We'll see if show up.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“yes there are some shady people that live here but some of that has seemed to change. But the staff at Mosaic is absolutely AWESOME!!! I can't say enough good things about them. They are always very accomadating, always smilimg and ALWAYS, and I do mean always are willing to go above and beyond their call of duty.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“I've lived in the Montage/Mosaic for just about a year. I have now gotten to the point where I can't wait go leave. Recently the staff has changed for the 3RD TIME!!! Every time the staff changes the residents have to pay for it. Recently I've noticed I'm paying the same amount for my tiny apartment and getting less than when I arrived. Amenities are being taken away and we're not even being told about it until we need or want them. The staff has the kind of attitude that resembles someone who really hates life. Here are a few examples: one maintenance guy parks his suv in the resident entrance/exit driveway. It's parked in a way that causes so many problems with entering and leaving obviously and a danger hazard to those walking their dogs. His car is so big that you can't see around it when cars are passing, and a dog could easily be (3ft standard leash size) ahead of it's owner and get hit. Also wait time for the elevators have DOUBLED cause maintenance feels that they are so busy they need their own. I was recently told it's always been a service elevator. I then pointed out that when taking out the rug and wall padding hanging it becomes a nice elevator and when i moved in it was a normal resident elevator with same decor as the others. Previous management had arranged times for movers to reserve that elevator. Our "Valet" company is a JOKE! Almost every time I walk through the lobby (out or in the front doors) rarely is there a person holding the door open. Isn't that the point of having them and living in a "Luxury apartment?" One day I came in and someone was just sitting at the desk looking at me as I had all my hands full, then had to put things down. The person at the desk didn't even move and then made a joke about all the stuff I had as I walked by. When you call for a grocery cart they no longer help you move anything to your apt. They simply drop off the cart in the elevator waiting area and leave! We are now being told to remove items from our patios incase a hurricane between now and 7:30pm even though the hurricane (Alex) won't even be effecting us. Not even the tropical storm winds. However they feel that if we don't remove items we will be penalized with a $150 fine! I agree for big storms and beyond the removal of items should be a must, but threatening your residents with a fine is the least professional move i have ever experienced. Another thing I noticed, this building isn't even near full, and some people here feel the need to park as if they are the only ones. When complaining about it, I was told they can't put sticker warnings on any cars so people continue to do it. You'll notice moving in here that you will have to park on a high floor even though not many cars are in the parking lot. Every time I bring up an issue it is brushed. To me the current staff doesn't really care for it's residents. (Except for a few who have been here since the beginning) I think when you come to this property you are amazed at how new and nice it is, but once the novelty wears off, you'll notice the kind of people that live and work here are probably not the kind of people you would choose to be surrounded by. I'm not the kind to only write the bad things. I have written previous reviews when I first moved in. I still think the place "looks" nice thanks to the builders but whoever owns and operates it, has no clue what they are doing. Don't believe me, look a little more into Montage of Houston or Mosaic Towers in the Houston Chronicle and Houston Press and read all the reviews.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“It's a great apartment complex. Honestly, they have sooo many accomodations and are much cheaper than any other fancy apartment complex in Houston. There is free valet, a coffee room, a spacious gym, a kickboxing area, a dance room, a sauna, a steam room, a GRAND swimming pool, caring staff, and much more! The location is perfect, as well. You're near the museums district, near downtown, 30 min drive(depending on your driving skills) to Galveston/Kemah where you can rent boats, jet skis, walk the boardwalk and enjoy GREAT seafood. The other tenants are friendly and are NOT snobby like they are near the galleria area or midtown. Although they do have some bad eggs, you can complain to the concierge and it is immediately taken care of. All of your inquiries are taken seriously and your satisfaction is guaranteed. Mosaic staff is a bit harder to deal with and have been known to not be the best of the best, but I believe they have new management and they have been working with the Montage residents now, because now Montage is called Mosaic 2, and seem to be very accomodating, as well. The only issue for some people would be, that it's not fully occupied. It is only 40% occupied. But I LOVE this! There is more detail to my personal needs and they are very attentive to all of their residents more. Parking is great and is only a hassle when people are turning around corners. But that's not the apartments fault, it's the drivers fault for not paying attention to the mirrors posted on all of the corners in the parking garage.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“Don't get me wrong, I like it here. I've been here a little over 6 months and since moving in, management has changed 3 times. After looking into why I understand it had mostly to do with the Mosaic next door being bought out by different investors and banks and yatta yatta yatta. I am extremely happy with the staff that is in place now. Any complaint I put in gets addressed immediately, and all the concierge/valet staff go beyond their jobs to make things easier for the residents. I really felt like this place was making a step forward for the residents. When I moved in, I was told about a lot of events, amenities, and business (that would be opening up on the 1st floor) that never took off. I felt that the staff was really trying to get something going. I guess only time will tell what the new staff is capable of doing. I still do recommend moving here to all my friends, and hopefully we'll upgrade apartments and renew.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“I have been here for a while now and every since Laramar has been here...the changes have been great...I could not be more satisfied. Great staff makes happy residents and they go over and beyond to make sure Montage stays top quaility and residents remain happy. The manager ---- is an excellent manager, I have experienced many managers....but none like him...he is a great guy, and he is very nice. I have been spoiled since I've been here and could not imagine what things would be like if they staff was not here...the management and staff here rocks! I love it!”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“Montage is an excellent apartment highrise with great views of the city. The management team is very responsive to requests and very helpful. All requests are dealt with quickly and professionally. Ample parking is available and very secure. The lobby staff and valet service are very helpful and courteous. Overall, a great experience.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“I recently visited the Montage in hopes of leasing an apartment. The leasing staff was very helpful in setting up a time for me to view multiple apartments, and really went out of their way to make me feel welcome. They responded to e-mails in a timely manner, and made sure to answer any questions I had. After selecting an apartment and putting down an application/admin fee ($200) as well as a deposit fee ($250). A few days later, after reviewing my budget, I realized that I would not be able to move after all. I e-mailed the leasing staff and explained the situation. The contemplated lease contract had stated that both fees may or may not be refunded (neither of which I expected to be at the time). I understood that the application/admin fee would most likely not be able to be refunded, as a credit check and application approval had already taken place. I was very happy however, that they had the decency to refund my deposit money. All in all, my communication with the Montage was a very positive one. I would recommend at least going to check them out for yourself, that way hopefully you can have the same experience I did.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“We were one of the first tenants in the building. The only reason why we are moving out is because we are buying a house. This is at par with any top of the line apartment buildings across the nation. Views are beautiful, gym is better than 24 hour fitness (which i cancelled while living here) Park is across the street with a full 18 hole golf course and driving range just 30 yards away !!!!! You having TUTS and all the events in the park also across the street. All the museums are walking distance so guests have plenty of things to do without a car in Houston- Thats a huge deal. Downside is that the retail space is not leased yet, but I am sure that will change. Units are brand new, appliances are all brand new and stainless steel. Our two bedroom is very very spacious for a high rise. I have friends living at complexes close by and they are paying similar rents for crap. Everyone who has visited us here are frankly amazed by the facility. We were happy and proud to be living at this complex. Management is always willing to help and do their best to make the tenants happy. To be frank thats the honest truth about the Montage.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“When I was searching for an apartment this last year I saw a great deal of negative reviews on this website. I have to say I strongly disagree with all of them. Visit the grounds and talk to random tenants around the apartment and you'll see that we all love living here. Positive reviews are appearing now. Montage of Houston is a wonderful place to live. The amenities are world class. The gym rivals some university gyms; it contains many machines, a yoga room, steam room, boxing room, shower, locker room, massage room, and a fantastic view of the Hermann Hospital Estate. The wellness center on the 6th floor has some fantastic pilates, yoga, and dance classes. Wayne, the head of it all, is a certified Pilates instructor as well as a Certified Flexibility Theripist. I have made leaps and bounds in my own personal fitness through Wayne's guidance. I wholeheartedly recommend his classes to anyone. Further, the classes are also filled with wonderful and dedicated people. This place has a true sense of community. The rooms are spacious and wear a modern industrial look that is elegant and clean. The kitchens are high-quality and the air-conditioning/heating systems are quiet and effective. All the regular technologies (laundry, dish-washer, etc.) are in place and they just work. Power plugs are abundant and convenient. AT&T U-verse Internet/Cable is very fast and fun. The staff here are WONDERFUL. It is amazing how friendly and helpful people are here. Whenever I call a manager with any sort of question I always get an answer and a solution immediately. I honestly have never experienced this sort of attention to detail from any other apartment or hotel I've ever lived in. I must say Avery Burns, a manager here, has been especially wonderful to me and my family. If you can, get in touch with her! She is a wonderful person to do business with, and she's true to her word every time. (We've also had wonderful experiences with John Shry, but he has moved to California). I've been here for about 8 months now. I love living here.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“I have been living in this pleasant high-rise for the last 8 months. Since I am a physician working in the medical center, I was interested to find a comfortable place close to the medical center. Safety, convenience, responsible manager team and price were my principle criteria that I found them all in Montage of Houston. It is true that the rent is marginally higher in this complex compare to the lower quality neighbor complexes(I have visited almost all of them!). However, if you care for the factors I care, you will find the rents in Montage to be very reasonable. So far, great experience!”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“Be cautious of the overly positive reveiws, Montage personnel are posting positive reveiws to counter the true situation. When you tour the property you will be promised an upscale environment with the following 1) Parking Garage with access control 2) Access control from the parking garage to the building 3) Access control from the elevator to each floor 4) A safe environment for you and your pocessions 5) A 7000 sq ft lounge area for you to reserve and use for your guests 6) A safe & secure work out facility. Here is the reality 1) The parking garage is not secure and the gates are frequently inoperable and left open. When the gates are operating it is easy for others to tail gate vehicles into the garage. Vehicle break-ins, vandalism and bycyle thefts are frequent. An off duty police office patrols the garage on most weekends. 2) The building access control system has never worked. I have been promised since August 09 that the system will be fixed in a few weeks. Some of the doors from the garage into the building are locked, but mny remain open. 3) Again the access control system does not workin the building, once someone is in the building or garage they have full access to allof the building. Most of the time there is no one tomonitor the video monitoring system in the building. 4) All of the above lends to the building not being safe or secure. There have been many incidents orf theft, vandalism, threatening, menacing and even violent behaviour in the building.... even a fight in the lobby after a Christmas party. 5) Some residents have had positive experiences reserving the Party Room, but several residents have had their events canceled at the last minute because the developer didn't like the party concept, orin several cases the developer decided to host parties on those nights and canceled residents events at the last minute (legal action is pending) 6) The gyn can be very menacing at night and uncomfortable for men and women alike to use. Groups of men tend to hang out at the gym late at night and many of them are not residents. The building is being managed like a traditional apartment complex. In the evenings and weekends there is no management, security or maintenace personnel on site and monitoring the building. The control of the building is left to contract personel on the valet staff. While the vaet staff is excellant this does not work well in a large highrise facility. While there is a good mix of some professionals and Medical Center personnel, there are also a great dealof tennents who moved in with $0.00 move in and greatly reduced rents. This has added an element that has reduced the desirability of the building. The same can be said of the adjoining MOSAIC CONDOMINIUMS where most of the units are owned by investors and are leased at rates lower than the MONTAGE.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“It is about time they built a high-rise close to the 3rd Ward for young people to aspire to and to lend our community some respectability. The Montage is a premier African-American community to be celebrated in Houston.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“I have been living at the montage of Houston for 8 months and i really like it here. it is very nice and quiet , people from the valet, concierge and office are very nice. i live in a one bedroom and i plan to renew my lease and move to a two bedroom!! the pool is amazing!! i feel safe!! and that is very important for me!! i would really recommend this place.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“I have only been at the Montage for a couple of months now and haven t had any real cantankerous issues. I mean, I ve read what others have said and to each its own, nonetheless I ve worked hard for a good portion of my like so I was looking for a place where I could come home and relax. I love it when my friends come over and have to sign in and out with the concierge, plus they notify me of whom the guest is .hey I m single and can t just having anybody popping up (recipe for catastrophe. Houston has crazy weather so yeah I m taking advantage of the valet guys. When it s cold I call down and have them pull my car to the front warmed up and I can assure you that when it gets hot my ac will be running. My back is not that great so I m taking advantage of the help with my groceries. I ve also owned many homes and the cost of the upkeep is not worth it in my book. When a light bulb is out the maintenance replaces it ect I ll never buy again I tell ya. As for now I m okay until otherwise. People are people and theory states that we complain about the dam nest things and hardly ever speak of the good.”
— 5927 ALMEDA RD · Houston“I have enjoyed my stay here mainly because of the convenience. The valet is key for me, since I am always in a hurry. They always take care of me and whatever groceries or bags I need help with. I prefer this versus having to park my car in the garage at the last place I lived and lug all my bags back and forth to my apartment. In the morning I call down to the concierge and ask for my car to be ready for me when I get down stairs. This place is 3 miles from my job downtown, which is the main reason I chose the Montage. I use the sauna frequently.”

OMG HE WAS A GENTLEMEN, WHATEVER I NEEDED HE WAS THERE. HE SUDDENLY DISAPEAR IM SURE HE WAS FIRED FOR BEEN SO NICE TO THE RESIDENTS. THE UNITS, ARE WAY TOO SMALL FOR WHAT YOU PAY, IF YOU WANT TO LEAVE IN AN APT FOR 1,000 A MONTH WHERE YOU DONT HAVE SPACE FOR NOTHING BUT YOUR BED... WELL WELCOME. BUT I THINK IS DUM, IT IS A REALLY NICE PLACE TO LIVE,I WISH MANAGEMENT WAS DIFFERENT AND THAT EVERYTHING WOULS BE LIKE BEFORE...CALM AND SAFE. NOW YOU HAVE ALL THIS PEOPLE.. JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY, MANAGEMENT DO NOT CARE IF THEY HAVE FELONIES, NOR SUSPICIOUS RECORD, AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY FOR RENT, THEY TAKE YOU. WHY? BECAUSE THE COMPANY NEEDS THE MONEY, BUT JUST BECAUSE THE COMPANY NEEDS THE MONEY, WE, THE RESIDENTS ARE IN DANGER WITH ALL THIS PIMPS, AND DRUG DEALERS, THATS WHAT THEY ARE,... THE BUILDING NEXT TO US, THE MOSAIC, ITS 20 TIME WORST, BE CAREFULL, YOU CAN LIVE SOMEWHERE BETTER....”

The assistant manager will promise everything (and say it's being done THAT day) and delivers nothing. Although I still live here, I have friends who moved out 2 months ago and STILL have not received their security deposit back. They were told 2 weeks ago by an office worker "the check is in the mail", yet 2 weeks later nothing, with a different member of the office staff saying "it will be in the mail tomorrow". In my opinion, (and in the opinion of my friends that had the opportunity to break their lease because of inappropriate actions of the assistant manager-they described being "verbally assaulted" at the coffee machine one morning) this is yet another example of promises being made that were never delivered. I hope my friends get their security deposit back, and I hope that I can get the hell out of this dump.”
